Noel returns to the booth, unable to accept defeat from his attempt before, he steels himself ready for another opportunity. With a passion in his heart that would guide his ball to victory, he was sure this time that he would not fail. He takes aim yet again, aiming the the ball towards Izumi Yamamura and throws the ball with all his might.[break][break]

Noel places a hand onto the Arcanine's body, gently gliding his hand over the fur to convey to him that he's a friend. He thought to himself how this is yet another Pokemon that seemed to fit Navy's personality, a very strong and intimidating type. With a jump up, he places himself on top of Voyager, he wasn't used at all to riding Pokemon but something about this one made him feel more at ease, as if he could trust Voyager with his life. Noel then responds to Navy's instructions. [break][break]

"I understand, I'll follow your lead. I'll back you up in case anything happens and I'll be sure to--"[break][break]

Suddenly they heard the roar of engines thundering along the rode. The bikers had begun their advance. Noel and Navy could hear the sounds of their hollering that grew closer and closer with every passing second. Noel stops speaking and just nods to Navy, leaning forward and holding tight onto Voyager, awaiting Navy's signal to intercept.[break][break]

With a more serious question asked, Noel's tone shifted. He replies back with a more dramatic demeanor.[break][break]

"Yeah I had thought about it... I heard Navy was here at the carnival and to be honest its the main reason I came here. I was going to find him once we were done for the night."[break][break]

He had spent the night before preparing himself for today, he knew it would be a life changing moment once he met with the gym trainer. But for now he wanted to spend more time with his friend and forget about his worries.[break][break]

"But... that's neither here or there right now. Let's have some fun while you're still here, after all who knows when I'll see you again."[break][break]

Upon entering the house of mirrors, Noel immediately veered away from the path, separating himself from Ollie. The attraction was a giant maze and Noel walked for what seemed like forever. By sheer luck he had stumbled upon the exit, while happy that he won he had lost sight of his good friend. He decided to venture back and basically dragged Ollie out of the house.[break][break]

"I was never one for tricks like that... yet somehow only you ended up getting lost how did that happen?"[break][break]

Noel teased at Ollie, he was beginning to enjoy himself with these games and was hoping they do even more. He sets his sights on a bumper car ride. He beckons Ollie over while beginning to walk towards it.[break][break]

"Come on now, the night is still young and there's plenty left to do."[break][break]

Noel accepts the Pikachu plush into his hands. While a sore loser he was, he knew when to give up when there was no chance of winning. He lets out a small laugh as he looks over the plush, admiring it.[break][break]

"Heh, don't think you'll beat me next time we do this. I want a rematch on this same game later."[break][break]

Noel scans the area around them, eager to participate in more games, he saw signs for booths like Tauros-Rodeo, Magikarp Fishing and the House of Mirrors.[break][break]

"Which game would you like to do next? I'm not familiar with any of these they have."[break][break]

Noel scoffs at Ollie, boasting his own ability to win at every game they could come across. This would soon be his downfall however as with each ring thrown at the Dugtrio, everyone one missed their mark, fortune was not in Noel's favor. He was getting visibly upset, more and more with each ring tossed. [break][break]

Speeding through the obstacle course Noel is the first to reach the finish line. It was clear Ollie was coming to that age where speed wouldn't be his strong suit anymore. Nevertheless Noel would still accompany his friend and spend as much time as they could together.[break][break]

As they walked out Noel notices a Dugtrio-Ring-Toss Game and smiles at Ollie.[break][break]

"Think you can beat me at this one?"[break][break]

The ride was easier than the previous ones, it was like Noel had an iron stomach and nothing could penetrate it. It wouldn't be easy for something to cause Noel to lose composure on any of these rides or attractions. He quickly heads to a food stall and purchases 2 cotton candies. Handing one over to Ollie and keeping the other to himself.[break][break]

"Here you go, lets take a small break for now, it looks like you could use it."[break][break]

Her words of caution were noted by Noel. Yet he had no choice in the matter as this was a request by the League themselves and he couldn't turn down a mission from them. He would honestly reply to her questions and comments. Still thinking of her has nothing but a ordinary barkeep attending to her shop.[break][break]

"I... can't really stand all the things they've done in the past and what they're doing now. Seeing good people hurt in front of me just gets me into a rage I can't control."[break][break]

His free hand curls up into a fist as his demeanor changes, his face now filled with anger at the thought of Rocket being able to do what they want without anyone to stop them. He loosens up when he realizes that he was in the company of a citizen and it wouldn't look good on him to lose himself here.[break][break]

"I appreciate your concern Miss but this is something I have to do. As much as I don't like doing what the League tells me to do, it's still one way of stopping Rocket and so I'll play along with them for now."[break][break]

His mood brightened more at the mention of her own gym challenge. He had met another fellow trainer on the same path as him and it excited him. He knew far too well how tough it could be and reflected on his own journey up to this point.[break][break]

Meanwhile Frogadier appears from the ocean, rising up from the water and landing onto Noel's raft, taking a rest by sitting against the post in the middle of it. Noel's Eevee and Rowlet had begun to look tired as well, yawning softly as the day began to set. Some time had past now since their meeting and the sun was starting to fall. He looks at his Pokemon and decides its best to head back to town.[break][break]

"Heh, I know how that must be, I've had quite the difficulty trying to get my own but I'm glad to see someone else who's collecting them like I am. I think its time we start heading our separate ways, its getting late and our Pokemon must be tired from all the catching they did."[break][break]

He raises a hand and sets it forward in front of him, trying to go for a handshake with the young trainer.[break][break]

"It was great meeting you however and I hope our paths cross again soon. I'm sure you're destined for great things."[break][break]

Some time passed and they had both entered the ride, it spun around over and over and it almost got to Noel but he held strong. This definitely had tested the limits of his body but he remained triumphant.[break][break]

"How... was that? I... bet you must be done now right?"[break][break]

He was out of breath but still he could continue on. He saw one more challenge in their way and nodded towards a pendulum ride as if he was motioning in its direction.[break][break]

"How about one more? Think you can hold on?"[break][break]

Upon seeing the massive amount of people going Clamperl diving Noel decided to try his own hand at it. It would give him the opportunity to stretch his legs and also perhaps find some treasure. After all who doesn't like free things? Noel dives right inside and after a few moments comes back up with a gasp for air with his prize.

His first time at the carnival and Noel thought he'd give everything at least one chance. He stumbles onto the dunk tank booth and takes a ball in his hand. He readies his aim and thinks ""Nothing personal" against his target. Noel then throws the ball as best he can towards mint frost .

He had been through worse, things like this didn't thrill Noel at least not anymore. Surely, he thought, there must be something better that would suit him.[break][break]

"Hmph that was nothing, you look like you're about to hurl though are you sure you can handle more? Like that?"[break][break]

Noel then points in front him, there was another ride, this one was the type to spin endlessly and cause massive dizziness.[break][break]
