"Alright, you." The dog's affectionate nickname for his old Lapras is you. Nothing complicated. A simple word to signify the creature is separate from himself. Lapras looks at him and chuckles. His species is famed for their soft beauty and mannerisms, yet his voice is deep. It reminds Hitoshi of an old crime boss. After everything that's happened, with everything that's coming, he feels the need to relax. They'll have to go off and fight that sword cat sooner or later. Until then, he'll try and enjoy life.[break][break]

Once more into the beach.

Clamperl diving had been pretty productive last time he'd done it, so Hideo had no reservations about doing it again. Granted, Hideo wouldn't be the one doing the actual diving; he wasn't a very good swimmer, and he was an even worse underwater diver; that job was left for his Pokemon.

Hideo stayed above water, sitting on top of a swimming tube while his Starmie kept its eye(?) on him. His Meowscarada would be the one doing the actual diving, the blue mask marking it temporary water-typing.

He remembered this well. Half treasure hunting, half community service— the masses had gathered around slateport beach to scour the depths of its reefs for gold.

Or more likely, empty pokeballs.

Thomas remembered the last time he went Clamperl diving. It was a fruitful endeavor, one that he didn't regret. If anything, the extra Pokeballs he accumulated were of immense help.

Thomas allowed his Clawitzer, Colt, to do the work. The grumpy shrimp would dive down into the waters below, in order to find something of value.

Sven stood at the very edge of the pier, ready to swoop down in and catch something good. Clad in green swim trunks with pineapples wearing sunglasses on them, the brunette lightly slapped his face with both hands in an attempt to hype himself up. He had this in the bag, he was certain! A few steps back and Sven ran in full force, diving into the waters to find something worthwhile.

Once his hands grasped onto the first thing he could fine, he kicked his legs to swim back to the surface. As he broke through the water, he took a gasp of air and rubbed away the sea salt that had begun to burn his eyes, then took a look at what he'd managed to fetch.
