No wonder he was Champ. Genny's eyes light up happily. If the little cowlick on her head didn't pop up to show it, her face beaming did.[break][break]

"Heh. This is what I've been hoping for!" Gordo may be hurt, but resillience keeps the armadillo grooving. "Sandstorm!" She calls out, still uncertain how this phenomenon even worked herself. Not realizing what Gordo ACTUALLY did was utilize a MAX QUAKE, the previous move already having done the sandstorm itself.[break][break]

The sand slaps into the air, and she holds an arm over her face. But her grin never once lowered.[break][break]

It was far too late... far too much so, as he does it. Hoists her up, in a tango dip, as she held onto him. The bedsheets fall over, leaving nothing but her, and nothing but him. And all the uncertainty she may have felt goes away immediately, as her arms wrap around his neck.[break][break]

The holiday party hadn't gotten what she wanted, so when he says it, her face is red, but her lips curve upwards. Nothing else mattered then. At least. Not until they needed to.[break][break]

Traditional, maybe, but Genny was tired of the consistent love life she had. Between cheating surfers, or the floozy players who think she's easy, she felt this genuine feeling she hadn't before. So, when he asks the question, when he says it...[break][break]

"I will. Izzy." She's practically climbing him like a tree, despite him being shorter than the usual guys she liked. As she does, she holds him close, half-lidded eyes focused down. As she leads him back down, to her, and the bed...[break][break]

The power shoots back on some time later, the generators no longer needed as Circhester returns to a level of normality... but this was a night that Genny wouldn't soon forget. After all.[break][break]

The bark from the Poochyena, and the fact that Gordo comes over to pat the little yeen on the floofy head has her calm down considerably. Taking a long, much needed inhale, she speaks clearly.[break][break]

"Right. Sorry, just a little starstruck." She gets back to her smile, and returns Gordo, to prepare the Dynamax Bracelet, as she nods.[break][break]

"Let's have a good one, Mr. Lopez! And please, just Genny!"[break][break]

With the explosion of size that comes with the Sandshrew, the big armadillo roars to life, with an immediate MAX ROCKFALL, the Dynamax'd Sandshrew attempting to rain down boulders to get the first advantage![break][break]

Eighth match she was scheduled for. "Noel Parker..." She didn't know him either. No idea who they could be, but with their little stadium at the ready, Genny and Gordo do their stretches.[break][break]

Moment he enters the scene, she waves. "Hey! Noel, right?" She's grinning ear-to-ear in the orange light of dusk. "Let's have a good match!" She's beaming, and with a jump in the air, her Dynamax Bracelet shows itself, jingling on her arm.[break][break]

Gordo waves too, rolling in a circle, before the big juice comes in.

Seventh match.... "Gerald Kaiser." Genny reads it off, and smiles. Gordo was in rare form, standing at the ready to rollout, and transform- into a bigger, meaner armadillo, anyways.[break][break]

With his arrival, a quick salute his way, she reveals herself. "Hello! Name's Genny!" She's smirking. At the ready. "Give me your best, kay?" Seven matches in, she hasn't lost any of her momentum.[break][break]

Gordo spins at a high speed, and readies himself for the big energy juice.

Sixth match. "Cian Maher..." That was a Gym Leader, if she wasn't mistaken...[break][break]

A small little cliffside arena sat for them, as Gordo was at the ready, and the green Sandshrew sped and shredded with a playful roll. The redhead prepared for the new person to arrive, and held a hand out in greeting. Her Dynamax showing itself.[break][break]

"Genevieve Cromwell. Call me Genny." She gives him a big sunny smile.[break][break]

"Gym Leader, right? I'll be challenging you myself real soon, so you better get ready for the appetizer!"[break][break]

Gordo the Sandshrew flexes, at the ready. Soon to be one big armadillo.

Fifth match time. Exciting! A beach stadium for the duo, and she reads the name paired with her.[break][break]

"Kyle Lopez..." That name... her face immediately goes cold. He was- oh god, he was- oh. Her hazel eyes stare with an uncomfortable tremor, as she looks outwards towards the other entrance. Where he'd come.[break][break]

"H-Hello!" With a wave, Genny's heart is in her throat. Oh crap, this was the Champ. She was practically jumping in excitement. "My name's Genevieve Cromwell... I-I look forward to this match, Mr. Lopez!"[break][break]

She's shaking nervously. Gordo wasn't any the wiser, and as she flashes her Dynamax Bracelet...[break][break]

It was on his mark.

Fourth match time. She's just hitting her stride. It's a name she doesn't recognize at all, and the redhead has to look it over. "Shalin... Nariya?" No idea who that might be...[break][break]

As she waits at the stadium for them to arrive, Gordo is busy doing little somersaults and spins in the dirt, as she moves down to rub his little head. When she does arrive...[break][break]

"Hello! My name's Genny! You're Shalin, right?" With a flash of her Dynamax Band, she lets Shalin know the pace of the battle already.[break][break]

"Let's have a good match today, okay?"

Third bestie she had to fight so far, what a great time for it too. Gordo was practically over the moon, getting so much quality time with Genny, and the way he spins into the stadium to kick up dirt only made it better.[break][break]

Practice, huh? "Sure, Lammy. Once I find a partner for that, I'll be coming for that badge."[break][break]

With a flash of her own Dynamax Bracelet freshly gotten, she lets Gordo fly outwards as a massive giant armadillo. Ready to go, the little baby now very tall.[break][break]

Hearing Yuina not at all deterred by the massive Sandshrew has her grin in delight. It was the first time the duo had ever done anything like this! Other had Mega-Evolutions, sure, or Z-Moves, or whatever. But Genny? She was lucky and got her hands on one of these babies.[break][break]

"That's what I like to hear!" With a throw of her hand, the massive Sandshrew roars out with a MAX ROCKFALL, cascading the ring in a rocky onslaught, blasting downwards as the Hisuian Samurott's RAZOR SHELL starts the match off strong![break][break]

Genny knows that Dynamax won't last forever. She has to plan for the eventuality.[break][break]

For now though, she would make sure to keep Yuina on her toes.[break][break]

Another girly it seems. The next match, DESIREE BLOOMS .[break][break]

Genny was tickled at the idea of facing another of her gang, and even prepared herself accordingly, as she takes the Pokeball at the ready. Gordo is doing his rolls as normal.[break][break]

Upon seeing her girlygang member, Genny shoots her a smile, and wave. "Girlygang!" She's got a big toothy grin, and a dynamax bracelet dangling on her wrist.[break][break]

"Just like I told Yuina, Desi... don't hold back on me! And good luck!" She calls out to her. Her Dynamax Bracelet at the ready!

The Vital Tournament! In her own home city, no less! Genny was pressed, excitement rushing through her veins, as she looked at the roster. Who she was fighting. A good number of fights to go... but right now?[break][break]

She reads Yuina Higashi . With a confident smirk on her lips, the redhead comes not with a big monster of a Pokemon, but a green little Sandshrew. One of her best. Gordo.[break][break]

"Yuina!" she calls back, waving towards her brunette friend back. When she shows her new bracelet though, a Dynamax Bracelet freshly gotten. "Let's!"[break][break]

In truth, she would love it if either of them won. But... Genny wanted to win.[break][break]

"Good luck! And don't hold back on me, okay?"

A lot could have gone poorly, so quickly. The angle of the curve, the way she dives is daring, enough so that if they messed up, Uzi would have faltered quickly, and Genny would have risked drowning. The race could have ended immediately. And as the Vaporeon surfaced, Uzi and Genny realized behind them, that they had gotten back ahead of Josh.[break][break]

"Yeah," screamed Genny, fist into the air, as they made the turn for the second lap. Another two to go through, but confidence surges through her, as she calls out. "-kick it into gear, Uzi!" And Uzi does just that.[break][break]

With a QUICK ATTACK that was now valid, Genny begins to speed up considerably. This part of the race was easy enough, but Genny knew when to hold it.[break][break]

"I trust you. Go!"[break][break]

And with it... Uzi kicks it up a notch, to DRIFT.[break][break]
