Alec agreed with Josh, giving him a smirk. The first time when Veta evolved, it was the best thing ever, zooming in the sky on her back. Then again, he was a teenager. Now, it became something that he was just used to. "How regularly do you feed him?" Alec had asked Josh, referring to his Hydreigon. Judging from Josh's answer, he could more than likely fix that by feeding him more often.

As Alec waited on Josh's answer, Veta caught notice of an Exeggutor coming out from the bushes, prompting Veta to take care of it with a powerful, yet swift WING ATTACK. There really wasn't much he could do to keep the wild pokemon coming and going, but pokemon like that had a tendency to try and mess with his cabin ... which he didn't really like all that much. It was old and pretty much run-down. He'd do what he can to try and keep it from looking that way, but it seemed no matter what he did, it was just never going according to plan.

Josh Devlin

The gardevoir and ralts running about on Route 102 made Alec think he was witnessing a bunch of women in ball gowns dancing about. Sure, they weren't a dragon type obviously, but perhaps another fairy type would be nice to have around. Sylv the Sylveon for some reason didn't necessarily get along well with his other fairy types, with the exception of his dedenne and mawile. Alec sighed, deciding to pull out a poke ball. he didn't know whether or not to go for a Gardevoir or the Ralts dancing about elegantly, but he figured that he would at least try to catch one. He threw the Pokeball in hand, hoping that whatever it captured stayed inside the Pokeball.

Alec felt that wandering around this bunker was way too easy... There were no traps as far as he could tell, and from the looks of it, he didn't see any pokemon guarding the place. except ... he could swear he heard someone laughing as they continued on, yet saw nothing. "Keep your eyes peeled," Alec said to Inferno as the two of them walked. There was the occasional creaking of metal, and even some sparks of electricity harmlessly jutting out from the walls along with the occasional hissing coming from the pipes before they finally made it to the flag.

"Bingo," Alec said picking up the flag. However, as soon as he grabbed the flag, a voice echoes throughout the bunker, acting some sort of alarm. The once flickering lights above them now are a violent reddish color, as well as the introduction to some ominous tune. All hell had broken loose and it was because of picking up the real flag. However, what caught Alec's eye was a rotom flashing on the monitors in front of him where the flag was sitting. It came out of the monitor, hopping inside of a roomba with what appeared to be a knife taped to it. "Jesus, crap! Run!" Alec had said, not wanting to have anything to with this crazy-ass ghost pokemon. Inferno and Alec sped down the long halls with the rotom-controlled, knife-wielding roomba behind them. As they made it down half-way through the last hall back toward he only exit, Inferno grabbed Alec and blasted their way out of the closed bunker door. the rotom's laugh cackling stopped when the door shut back in place. "Welp, whoever made this secret base is a complete and utter psychopath." Alec said, slightly irritated. "At least we got ourselves another flag," Alec said, sighing.

Alec had ventured out into the safari zone, and immediately saw a Milcery, except it was all white rather than its normal creamy-tan color. "Ah, I think I know what the guy meant now," Alec smirked, calling out his Scizor. Once the wild milcery noticed the scizor, they battled, however, Clamps the scizor, was too swift, bring a barrage of BULLET PUNCHES to the fairy pokemon. Alec knew that Scizor was somewhat holding back a bit, but it was enough for Alec to try and catch it. He threw a safari ball at the weakened milcery, then picked it back up after it clicked.

This might have been one of Alec's craziest escapades to date. However, he was fairly certain that he'd be able to get the flag here with no problem. Alec walked inside the large the kennel, catching the attention of the houndoom to snarl at him, however, despite their snarling, Alec continued his steady pace inside without even faltering. Alec spotted the Alpha chained up, making his way towards it, stopping a fairly safe distance as the houndoom attempted to lunge at him, only to come up a few feet short of him.

"Now is that any way to treat a friend who brought ya a treat?" Alec had said, grinning while flashing a lollipop in front of the alpha houndoom, making it whine. Putting a treat in front of any dog-like pokemon was the best way to earn their respect. "If I give you this, how 'bout you give me the flag, yeah?" Alec grinned. At first, the houndoom seemed hesitant, but seemingly enough it sat down on all fours, conceding to Alec's exchange. Alec tossed the lollipop in front of it, letting the houndoom go to town. Once it was finished, it got up to go get the flag, returning it with it in its mouth, and dropping it in Alec's hand. Alec gave the houndoom a good petting and then decided to make his leave before the houndoom got bored of him. Inferno won't like the fact that I gave the last lollipop away, but it was either that or beat the crap out of the entire kennel ..." Alec thought to himself, and as much as the latter seemed enticing, he'd rather not deal with the headache.

LORELEI DU'MOT

Alec sat in one of the chairs, holding a clefairy pokedoll that was sitting on it prior to his arrival. Inferno the charizard was getting a blood sample from a Hisuian Goodra, dressed up as a nurse of all things. Alec wasn't going to question why. His shiny charizard also wasn't afraid of needles, unlike some of his other pokemon. He sat there, even watching the Goodra stick the needle inside it.

Once they were done, the Goodra, hobbled over to Alec, giving him three lollipops as well as a flag for graciously donating. Alec had given Inferno his share, while Alec had his own, leaving only one leftover. Alec placed the clefairy pokedoll back on the chair after getting up. "Thanks again, Doc!" Alec had said, waving the steel dragon goodbye. Was it even okay to call it Doc? Alec thought to himself as they walked away.

Inferno's tail was bright enough to light their way through the night as they followed a path of what seemed to be some sort of glow-in-the-dark paint. Chances were, it was leading them to another secret base. However, as they got to a crack leading into some sort of cave, Alec let out a deep sigh, knowing full well that only he would be able to fit through. Inferno could easily get through the wall, however, he didn't want to attract the pokemon guarding the flag that was somewhere inside. "Don't worry, Inferno. I'll be back with that flag." Alec had said, squeezing through the crack in the wall, slowly but surely making his way to the other side.

Alec made his way toward the back of the cave, seeing a patch of lavender sitting in the only source of moonlight coming through the ceiling. Alec also noticed a mareep plushie sitting there with a flag in hand, however, Alec wasn't falling for the decoy trick. "That's way too obvious. It's like this was set up by a kid," Alec muttered to himself, while continuing to look around, figuring out where the real was hiding. The wooper inside had taken notice of the dragon tamer, but they weren't attacking him which was a good thing.

As Alec's eyes continued to scan the area, he noticed the same paint glowing on the wall in the northern part of the cave, resembling that of a scar. Alec also noticed the crack in the wall, which made him smirk. "Bingo," Alec grinned while making his way over to the crack in the wall. Alec wasted no time, sticking his entire right arm inside the wall, grabbing the flag ... and something else. As soon as the flag was grasped in his hand, he quickly pulled back, realizing that his arm had been caught in a STICKY WEB. "Shit!" Alec had said, and that was when a bunch of Joltik started pouring out of the wall. They glared at him menacingly, about to spray him with more of their sticky webbing, until he called to his shiny charizard. "Inferno, Blast Burn through the crack, now!" Alec yelled, which prompted the charizard to roar, breathing a powerful stream of fire through its mouth, extending through the crack, while even reaching a portion of the Sticky web that Alec was caught in, freeing him. Alec then made a beeline through the crack in the wall, attempting to quickly maneuver his way back to his charizard. As soon as he got through, he hopped on inferno's back and flew into the night sky with the real flag in hand. "Later!" Alec said smugly to the joltik that were clearly upset at Alec and his charizard for getting away.

Alec had finally had the time to make his way to the Safari Zone, remembering all the times he had come here. He had caught quite a few pokemon here before as well as during his time as a Gym Leader. Some of those pokemon have also grown quite a bit. What's more, is that his safari ticket was considered to be special in some sort of way. However, when he asked how so, the warden just smirked and said 'You'll see', which made him slightly curious.
