Wiley, from what she saw of his Furret at the Mauville Racing Grounds, was very popular with the younger children that stop by his gym to see the riding in action. She had studied much on her Absol as a mount and other land based mounts though a Furret being a mount itself was very different than what she trained with Sayori.[break][break]

“I see. Thank you for telling me.” The diplomat processes the information when he talks about his Furret’s capacity as a mount and how she’ll need to raise her legs more since his Furret has a rapid gait. Her Gengar keeps watch over the female water type and ensures that the Lapras is having a little fun in the water.[break][break]

When he teases her a little and asks if she wanted to give it a try on Wiley with his U-turn, she’ll respond with a nod. “Yes, I can give Wiley a try.”

The eye from the pommel of the Aegislash blinks a few times when he watches a small Larvitar go around and play with some grey pebbles. Though it appears to be a young sort of rock type Pokemon, Caliburn doesn’t bother the Larvitar and urges the ambassador and the other Pokemon in their group to get going. It’s a little unlucky that May would be going to the summer season next month, but she’s willing to brave the heat in doing her job.[break][break]

Walking towards the dunes, Elise sees the stone buildings which were entrances to ruins she hadn’t been to before. Next time, she may have to pay them a visit and study those that had the Draconid language.

Within the first level of the cave, she sees the Tera Crystals gleam. Elise is not sure that she would be the one to bark orders from a throne since she’s not really the actual Queen of Galar. “I cannot be sure that I’ll be queen given that I am third in line to the throne.” A correction is made, probably because Remiel was the one that held the position of heir or he was if his twin brother was going to say about it.[break][break]

When he asks her his question on her defense of her home, she answers in a way that she’d think of herself as her people’s leader. “I felt that if my people would be in danger in Rustboro City or anywhere in Hoenn, I would do everything to keep them safe and well. It is the same for Galar too.” The Queen had much power in her hands, but Remiel had told her that his mother didn’t have much power over what Elise wanted to do for her mission.

“It turns out that my soul was separated out of my body for a task I have to do.” Elise explains to Jack when Cordy helps her up and she’s able to stand on her two feet again. “It was to help the spirit of my late mother pass on from here to the afterlife.”[break][break]

The hair stands on the back of her neck when she feels that something else is watching her white-haired companion. Elise isn’t sure what, but it might be the return of that deer again…[break][break]

While she tries to watch for the spirit of the bowl head deer, her Calyrex takes note of the other pair of eyes watching Jack from the shadows. Charles only watches the moving shadow with eyes in seeing what it’s doing.

A fog appears when the ambassador in spirit form tries to look at her other companion though now the attention is focused on the apparition of her late mother. The Marshadow that the royal caught would stand guard in case that vestigal spirit of the bowl deer came back to attack then. [break][break]

“I need you to help me move on.”[break][break]

Those were the words that her mother says…in a soft and gentle voice. Kind and loving as Elise remembered it.[break][break]

A nod came from the ambassador as she wiped her tears. “I understand, Mother.” Elise knows that her mother wanted peace to herself and to move on from this world. Not lingering in the material plane like the ghost Pokemon that the older Johtonian spirit medium cared for. “And Mother? I love you so much and wish you a happy and safe journey to passing on. I will always carry your legacy as a spirit channeler with the rest of my ghost Pokemon.”[break][break]

The ghost of her mother closes her eyes and replies back like a loving mother would. “I love you too, dear. Good-bye…” [break][break]

And in a moment, her mother’s spiritual body disappears in a swarm of white ghostly Butterfree. Elise can feel her soul coming back to her body as she prepares to wake up.[break][break]

When Jack shakes her awake, the diplomat jots awake from her seemingly endless slumber. “Sorry, I was out for a while.” An apology came while she looks over to the Marshadow and her Calyrex while the fog disappears. “Is that deer with the bowl on its head still there?”

She’s still behind the disqualified racer and her Blastoise when they had come out of the current. As a racer working under Josh, the diplomat had to catch up with the rest of those ahead of her. Onto the final lap of the race, Elise sees the whirlwinds created by the spooked wild Pokemon in response to the horns giving that signal. Currents of water would make it a bit harder to travel through, but she believes in her Dragonair. [break][break]

Bavsargra slithers across the water in a speed that would rival Josh’s. She is just as determined to try and make this lap count. Though this would be the lap before the winner would be decided, both racer and her dragon would do it to the very end until they’ll try their best.[break][break]

The Aegislash looks out for the Galarian royal’s safety in the desert when Elise’s Mismagius suggests they go to the desert for training. Elise goes together with her two ghosts and the shard Calyrex in tow, she’s supposed to patrol around and make sure the wild Pokemon were alright. That was her job as a ranger after all, she couldn’t leave those Pokemon to be injured if she found that they were hurt. They did have their fill of the creamy shrimp pasta from Giovanni's pasta restaurant in Mauville City before coming there to the desert.[break][break]

Caliburn is useful as a royal bodyguard, he was once her father’s Pokemon before he gave him to her. He’s there in case her actual bodyguard isn’t there with her and she is grateful for Caliburn’s protection. [break][break]

The High King with his crown looks towards the barren dunes, he probably hasn’t seen it before.

Coming towards the clear blue lake near the mountain, they had both gotten out of the forest for the Drilbur to look at the waters. The mole sees his own reflection when he touches the lake water with one claw. He didn’t notice the wild Lileep being near the edge of the water until he looks over to the strange plant Pokemon. In turn, the female Lileep takes note of the Drilbur looking at her as her yellow eyes blink.[break][break]

“is that a Lileep…?” The ambassador actually thinks the Pokemon her Drilbur is seeing was a bit familiar too. Did she remember Remiel owning one of those? He did like his fossil Pokemon where several would be at the Calcifet draciary too.[break][break]

Simon makes the first move in slashing at the Lileep with Crush Claw. A little cry comes from the plant-like Pokemon before the Lileep tries to drain the mole’s health with Mega Drain.[break][break]

Avoiding the Mega Drian, the Drilbur fights with high speed when he attacks the wild grass type Pokemon with a Metal Claw. Seeing the Lileep droop over in pain, the ambassador tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the sea lily Pokemon.

They were different because Elise isn’t an avatar, but was acknowledged by Calyrex to show him her leadership skills. She isn’t aware that the head ranger had something extraordinary on his person and the diplomat wasn’t going to pry into that. Arceus knows that Alexei wouldn’t make Tornadus known if it meant that Rocket knew of the wind djinni.[break][break]

“If it came down to it, yes.” Elise is sure that the Calyrex would’ve wanted her to be more stronger than she was then. She’s also sure that Remiel had probably accepted his patron’s avatarship a long while ago and he already made his choice. “I want to help the league in their endeavors in the war effort, it will be an honor to accept his patronage if the real Calyrex decided on it.”

A vision of the revitalized Megalopolis is shown from the mask that she peers inside, but Elise doesn’t know what it means. That could be a sign of something in some future, but she has to focus on her predicament. Through the course of the “week”, she’s forced to get to work on sorting the shards inside the cart like a mine worker after she eats her plate of mochi.[break][break]

But today was different. The noise came from the elevator when it descends into the ward she and her cellmate were in. Elise hears the prisoners begin to riot with the elevator’s sound and she now has a new goal: to get to the bottom. “We should go, Noel.” The Galarian ambassador urges Noel Parker when she takes her mask off.[break][break]

Megalopolan guards come to deal with her while the warden of the Weakling Ward, Okidogi, is dealing with the other rioting prisoners with his brute strength. Though her friend, the Fortree gym leader, had tried hard to hide the existence of Tornadus away from where Rocket couldn’t know of his existence, she probably was worried about the League itself being upset with her if she did the same.[break][break]

“Yes, this is Charles, my Calyrex.” An answer comes from the royal diplomat while the hare king studies the small Draconid writing on a cave wall. “I am not his avatar, no. If I was, I would think that Sheriff Navidson would be very worried about me.”[break][break]

She remembers their talk in the Granite Cave. Navy had talked a little about who the king would choose and when the day of the Dyna Tree’s stories came, he was also terrified if the Calyrex there had given her his powers. Luckily for him, the Calyrex only desires to see her leadership qualities first.[break][break]
