A vision of the revitalized Megalopolis is shown from the mask that she peers inside, but Elise doesn’t know what it means. That could be a sign of something in some future, but she has to focus on her predicament. Through the course of the “week”, she’s forced to get to work on sorting the shards inside the cart like a mine worker after she eats her plate of mochi.[break][break]

But today was different. The noise came from the elevator when it descends into the ward she and her cellmate were in. Elise hears the prisoners begin to riot with the elevator’s sound and she now has a new goal: to get to the bottom. “We should go, Noel.” The Galarian ambassador urges Noel Parker when she takes her mask off.[break][break]

Megalopolan guards come to deal with her while the warden of the Weakling Ward, Okidogi, is dealing with the other rioting prisoners with his brute strength. Her toxic chain turns into a glowing sword of golden light as she’ll use the newfound power the toxic chain gives her in fending those guards off as bursts of burning blue petals knock them back to the ground. Reaching their path to the platform, the ambassador had made sure that Noel would be there with her before they’ll head closer to freedom.

When she knew that her elder cousin had also gained several of Hoenn’s gym badges by himself, Remy was probably not a bit interested in taking the Elite Four challenge. She had four gym badges now with Josh’s Quick Badge being the most recent out of them. Her traditional gym battles had taught her two things in not giving up and the other is to prepare for future conflicts when the League is against Rocket.[break][break]

“I was not sure whether I would be ready to take on the league as I still have four of Hoenn’s badges with Josh’s being my recent.” The diplomat says when Ghost shows her the same Quick Badge he got from Josh. “And I had done the same with Josh too. We both raced on our Absol while my other co-workers raced on Josh’s other mounts. I ended up winning.”[break][break]

She’d reach the first level of the cave with Ghost as her Calyrex floats beside her and looks at the shining Tera Crystals. “The toxic chain incidents were worrying for the affected people and Pokemon in each town and city.” Elise frowns a little when she remembered coming to Rustboro City and having to help evacuate her people along with Remiel. “Rustboro City was the most affected with a swarm of toxic chained Beautifly and Dustox. Remiel and I had to help barricade our people in the Galarian Embassy and my elder cousin was particularly helpful with his dragons.”

A question is directed at the company that the diplomat had during her study of Meteor Falls’ cavern. Though her friend, the Fortree gym leader, had tried hard to hide the existence of Tornadus away from where Rocket couldn’t know of his existence, she probably was worried about the League itself being upset with her if she did the same.[break][break]

“Yes, this is Charles, my Calyrex.” An answer comes from the royal diplomat while the hare king studies the small Draconid writing on a cave wall. “I am not his avatar, no. If I was, I would think that Sheriff Navidson would be very worried about me.”[break][break]

She remembers their talk in the Granite Cave. Navy had talked a little about who the king would choose and when the day of the Dyna Tree’s stories came, he was also terrified if the Calyrex there had given her his powers. Luckily for him, the Calyrex only desires to see her leadership qualities first.[break][break]

Or maybe that was a little prelude to things that would come for her.

Through the other clearing of the woods, the diplomat hears the sounds of engines coming their way. There was only one Pokemon that she knows which could make that sound when the steel type Pokemon makes itself known to both her and her Drilbur. When Simon sees the Varoom, he Digs into the ground while the floating silver car can do nothing.[break][break]

In a few moments, the Drilbur rises up from the ground and attacks the wild Varoon with his claws. The ambassador tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the wild steel type Pokemon.

When the Drilbur comes towards a wild Mienfoo in the middle of a greener clearing, He doesn’t see that the Mienfoo is practicing his fighting until the mole Pokemon moves out of the way of the Mienfoo throwing a Drain Punch. Simon comes back to the ambassador and gets her away from the Mienfoo since he’s not going to engage with a practicing fighting type.[break][break]

“You didn’t get hurt badly, did you?” Elise asks her Drilbur and he’ll nod to her. She’s a bit concerned that he may have narrowly avoided an upset Mienfoo coming over to him.

She had thought much on the specializations that the medical corps did, but the diplomat can think on them later. Maybe there’ll be some other interests she can do while she’s training in Colonel Sullivan’s platoon. The sheriff himself was right to give her some pointers on how she can contribute to the battlefield while she stays out of it. Hoenn had plenty of metaphorical swords that will fight for the region.[break][break]

“I know there is a lot and yes, I’ll have to see what interests me the most while I train.” She replied to the colonel with a smile while he salutes her for her work at the Silent Icelands. “In spite of not having proper medical experience, I must admit that it was a little nerve-wracking for me, but…thankfully Alexei was able to guide me through the process of patching people up.”

She’s in the VIP room with the other guests that won the scavenger hunt and out of all of those people in here, Elise knows of Josh Devlin , howard slayte , Lutgarde Dijkstra , and Marya Kareva . To compliment her Butterfree-like mask, her dark blue ivy patterned fascinator sits atop of her head like an elegant and refined hat.[break][break]

Probably not ideal for a masquerade party, but she had wrested it from her mischievous Mismagius who had taken it without her knowledge. [break][break]

“Thank you for the invitation.” A bow of her head came from the formally dressed ambassador in her dark blue rose decorated gown towards the two hosts. She did have to admit that she was very excited to see what came out of it. Josh’s medieval looking attire appeared to be the most curious given the formal nature of the party, but she’ll pay it no mind.[break][break]

While the Galarian royal is at her seat in the dining table, the soup is served by the chef. She finishes her soup while the main course is placed on the table. A plate of buttered salmon, diced potatoes, and white rice would be set before the royal and she’ll eat with her fork and spoon before requesting a box for her leftovers. [break][break]

Cadeyrn Osmond and Charles the Calyrex would certainly love to have this delicious dish at home.[break][break]

The lights went out and when it comes back on, Elise is a little concerned over how Mr. Yukimura was doing. “Are you alright, sir?” She’ll say over to the man though she didn’t see any other injuries on him when he slipped on the soup. “Please be careful, I was sure that you would have a nasty fall.”

Through the woods, the Drilbur takes note of a swooping wild Fletchling as he moves out of the way. It was his first proper battle, something that the mole Pokemon wanted to do. He throws a Rock Slide onto the Fletchling when the bird swoops down at the mole again. Rocks batter the body of the bird until the Fletchling goes down. [break][break]

Elise takes out a Dusk Ball from her pack and tosses it at the Fletchling. While she has a Talonflame onto her current team, maybe this bird would go to a good home since she knows two people that loved birds.

A wild Linoone comes over to see the ambassador and her Cyndaquil though the small fire shrew sees the normal type Pokemon as a threat. She lets the fire flare from her back as the Cyndaquil attacks the Linoone with a Lava Plume. Soot from the flames shoot up when the burning fire hits the wild Linoone and Cecily gets a Tackle from her opponent. [break][break]

Cecily gets a little upset by the attack and she makes the Linoone faint with a well timed Flamethrower. As the Linoone goes down to the ground, Elise tosses a Dusk Ball at the downed badger Pokemon.
