Anahel's paranoia was warranted. As the innocent-looking young woman made her way to the den of vice, a group of three would trail her. Communicating into earpieces to their superiors, relaying her movements, the trio would track her, like predators teaming up on a single piece of prey.

As she got closer, three individuals in League tactical uniforms, two men and a women, sprung from the shadows. All three had their guns drawn, and aimed at the girl. Growlithe and Houndoom accompanied the officers, snarling and barking. Spidops and Ariados would lurk in the shadows nearby, ready to spring, should she try to run or fight.

"Hands where we can see 'em, bitch! And don't you fucking move!", the woman howled.

"Lay your Pokeballs to the fucking ground, slowly! And get on your knees, hands in the air!", one of the men barked at the woman.

"Yet.", Dorian added. "Eventually, everyone's luck runs out."

Dorian looked around at the aftermath of the trap, finding no darts had pierced the walls. He was in disbelief that it was indeed a broken trap.

"Assuming things like that will eventually get you killed.", Dorian warned her. "Best practice is to always assume things will go sideways, and prepare accordingly.", Dorian continued.

The Mad Dog would continue to make his way into the temple. With the revelation that the traps weren't functional, it made the trip that much easier. Despite his annoyance at the child's recklessness, Dorian continued to act as her protector, even if she didn't need it this time.

The bow-wielding woman would be able to spot a man on the back of a Rapidash, charging over the beach. The man in question let out a maniacal laugh, as he hounded down one defenseless Ranger. Though the man tried to run, the speed of the flaming steed was far too great, and the man would find himself impaled on the Megahorn of the Rapidash.

The bloodthirsty Rocket cackled as he watched the man's last moments, before the Rapidash tossed the man off of his horn, tossing him into the blood-soaked sands ahead of them.

After his little skirmish with Genevieve Cromwell had concluded, Dorian sought out another victim.

Flaming Lizzy, despite whatever injuries she endured at the hands of that annoying Ranger, was still going strong. The demented Charizard wanted blood. She had a driving desire to kill.

And the man on his Drifloon looked like a good target.

Without even waiting for her master's instruction, the Charizard immediately attempted to slice into the spectral balloon with a vicious Air Slash.

Unfortunately for our intrepid Ranger, danger was closing in on her. Rocketing towards the woman on her Pidgeot at frightening speeds, the Mad Dog of Rocket flashed a bloodthirsty grin.

"You know what to do, Flaming Lizzy!", Dorian cooed to the Charizard.

The flying lizard, upon setting her sights on the enemy Pidgeot, let loose a Dragon Pulse from her maw, towards the bird.

There was no getting through to this girl, was there?

Whoever this boss of hers was, it seemed his remark about him struck a nerve. "If you say so.", Dorian told her. Clearly, the disgust of letting a young girl endanger herself in such a manner didn't sit well with him at all.

"My point is that there are safer ways to learn from experience.", Dorian told her.

The Fire specialist rolled his eyes at her remark about his age. That was, until he heard the pressure plate, and the sounds of darts flying towards them.

Instinctively, Dorian took to the ground, attempting to use his body to shield the teenager from anything that might hurt her. Once the danger was over, Dorian got up, and offered to help Harper up.

"You need to be more careful.", he remarked.

"I believe it was Bryce?", Dorian asked the greenhorn. "Heard about what happened. Can't believe your own mother was a spy. And the fact that she just dumped you in Unova? Truly disgusting.", Dorian told him. His tone was genuinely sympathetic, surprisingly enough.

"This task is a simple one. This gambling den happens to be owned by us. A means of fleecing money out of the gullible sheep trying to make it big. Our job is to blend in as guests, and use the machines ourselves. If they see one, or both of us win, then they will think they have a chance at winning, too!", Dorian informed Bryce.

"All we have to do is discretely show proof of our allegiance to the woman managing the coin exchange. In return, she will grant us special tokens that guarantee a winning payout. But again, be discrete about it.", he'd remind Bryce.

Just as his associate had reported. The girl made off with a Kirlia. A promising addition to the party, but one that might be difficult to convert. Still, if she could charm the Kirlia to her side, it'd be a testament to her skill.

"Very good.", Dorian commented, a wicked grin plastered on his face.

"Now, you can relax, enjoy the spoils of your victory.", he'd tell the younger woman. "The Kirlia is yours. Think of it as a reward for a test well passed.", he'd tell her, before fishing through a drawer. The Mad Dog would present her with an unassuming phone, and a card.

"Whenever you want a drink, present this card to the bartenders at my bar. It will let them know you're with us. Do not lose it!", Dorian told her. "And this phone is a burner. I will call you on it is time for your next task.", the Mad Dog concluded.

As the girl left, Dorian communicated to the bouncer closest to the designated group. He'd tell her to watch the group, and an approaching girl. He was not to intervene, but to report what went down.

From the vantage point the VIP lounge provided him, Dorian watched the situation play out. He would watch as the girl switched to an innocent façade, before "accidentally" bumping into her chosen target. A confrontation broke out, one that was quickly defused. Dorian watched as she disappeared into the restroom.

A guard on the floor, who had watched the entire thing go down, reported that the girl managed to snatch a Pokeball off the distracted partygoer.

Another woman, who was seemingly doing cocaine in the bathroom, watched the interaction go down. She would discretely report the exchange to Dorian.

Dorian grinned, and eagerly awaited the return of the initiate. Finally, she would present the Pokeball to him.

"So what sort of Pokemon did you swipe off our our hedonistic friend?", Dorian inquired.

Dorian waited for the man to change out of the outfit he had on before. Upon stepping out, Dorian took a moment to examine him. "Better.", he'd tell the younger man.

"Wait - you must be Kane's son.", Dorian blurted out quietly. There was no mistaking the boy's eyes. "A crying shame what happened to him.", Dorian lamented. Betrayed by the woman who supposedly loved him.

"I'm Dorian, by the way. I don't know if he ever told you about me, since I was just another rank and file back in his day. But I did work with your father. Quite the Rocket, he was.", he'd tell Bryce.

If his father said anything about him, he'd have probably mentioned a burn scar on the left side of his face. Something that was notably missing from the Mad Dog's features.

Dorian chuckles at the man's response. "Well, the VIP lounge is rather quiet, less chance of interacting with the riff raff on the floor. But if low key's more your style, I can respect that.", he'd respond to the Beast.

Dorian frowned upon the inquiry of Silas. "A very angry, and bloodthirsty man. Lead Rocket like a warband, razing everything in sight, lashing out at the world for the misfortune he faced.", he'd tell Bryan plainly. "Crossed many lines that I myself could never cross. Man had no qualms about killing children.", Dorian continued, his tone both horrified and disgusted. "No respect for those that served under him."

Chu-e Choi came to mind. After finding out what Silas put his best friend through, Dorian lost all respect for Silas. If the man hadn't died in Verdanturf, before Dorian found out, then Silas would've found himself in the Mad Dog's crosshairs.

As Dorian parked the van, the Mad Dog would pull out a pair of gloves from his coat. He would then mull over the potential weapons he'd like to use. As much as he wanted to play with his new sledgehammer, such a weapon would've been impractical in a tight space like the house. So instead, Dorian grabbed a simple claw hammer.

"Good idea! And for good measure, I can have my Houndoom waiting in the shadows, ready to rip apart anyone who somehow makes it out.", he'd tell her.

Dorian woiuld allow the heiress to do her thing, sealing off the front door, as well as any nearby windows. Meanwhile, Dorian deploys Bony Buddy in a nearby alleyway. "Anyone but us makes it through the windows, or the door, somehow, make them regret it.", he'd tell the Houndoom, before moving onto the back door.

If she wanted him to kick in the back door, he would gladly do so. Otherwise, if she wanted to enter quietly, he was sure she could pick the lock.

The Chandelure's feast would be cut short by a Discharge. The Chandelure cried out in pain. Dorian, who had hopped away from the incoming electrical arc, stared at the source. The Mad Dog grinned wickedly at the Gym Leader. His arrival was an unexpected, yet welcome surprise.

Though Dorian's signature burn scar was gone, stripped away after his last battle with John Sullivan, there was no mistaking the identity of the Mad Dog.

"I'm here on business.", the man stated plainly, fiddling around with a Pokeball in his grasp. "I was minding my own business, when suddenly, I found myself being accosted by these rude spirits.", he'd explain to the Gym Leader.

The Chandelure would attempt to blast the Manectric with a Flamethrower, in retaliation for ruining his meal.

Dorian watched as Ryker cleaned off his blade on the fresh corpse. A last disrespect, before the man would be kicked off into the raging fires. The Mad Dog chuckled, watching as the body was consumed by the flames, on its way to becoming a charred, mangled husk.

"Yes! Drinks are on me! That is, if you wish to partake.", Dorian would offer the man, watching him get on his own Charizard, before flying off.

While the League dealt with the wildfire started by the two, Dorian would be drinking.
