Trainer and pokemon shared the same feelings, yet neither held any warmth in their heart at this reunion.

Being terrastalized wasn’t ideal anymore, the dynergy wasn’t letting Kouji’s Tyranitar make full use of its powers. It couldn’t be a true dragon anymore, and so Kouji nodded his head for his Pokemon to charge, but the large attack was definitely going to get in its way.

Jumping high, the Tyranitar got caught up the wildly moving energies of the battlefield, was it confusion? Or was it simply the force of so many attacks striking a barrier? Either way, it had no choice but to harden itself. Iron Defense, it’s armored skin took on a steely shine before it found itself crashing down in front of robin coello. It was a loud crash, yet it picked itself up as quickly as possible to brace itself against any incoming attacks.

Defending those behind it was just another plus, Tyranitar was dealing with a lot of it this time around.

It wasn’t the place where others could exchange pleasantries, catch up, or lick their wounds. This Golurk was trouble, he looked over himself as he brushed the sand over him, the dust piled below him as he took out his Pokemon, Meowscarada stood staring down the stone giant.

Everyone had their role, the field of grassy energy took over the dry desert, taking the edge and dryness off, and making breathing easier.

Kouji could only move backwards, grabbing the back of Howard’s shirt as he leapt backwards, arrows had bought them some time, yet he couldn’t make out just where they had come from as he found himself falling down a dune, and rolling backwards for a bit.

The heat was oppressive, but so was the dryness of the air as he sucked in a deep breath the moment he pulled his head out of the sand, looking up to see Navidson. He didn’t expect the man to have been in the same place as them; but more importantly, it was time for him to get his head in the game properly, bringing out his Meowscarada.

It was enough of a question to break him out of his musings, Kouji tilted his head to the other side as he pondered the question. ” It’s just fast…” Was really the only way he could reply to that, he pointedly avoided her inquisitive look. He wasn’t sure if his own eyes would give anything away, keeping them focused on the battle ahead instead.

Absol seemed to exchange a look with Airi as the dark type nodded a thanks before getting up on wobbly legs, infinity energy began to coalesce around her at a high speed. From the Mega stone it spun at a high speed towards Absol.

The double attack from Cinnamon seemed to have some effect, the toxic took hold, and the venom drench had struck directly at it. The Conkeldurr roared in pain as it covered its eyes with its hands, trying to wipe the poison away. Yet the toxic seeped into its skin, the veins that bulged around its entire body began to grow purple, and that purple glow gave it a boost in attacking power, enraged on top of it all.

Yet Kouji had to admit, it was a good plan that required trust both ways. ”We’re being set up to get a good sweep here Absol, mega evolve.” The transformation began in earnest, as its fur changed, the pokemon grew a few inches as well. Its horn grew bigger, and a second one came to join it.

The energies that began to build up dispersed into the air as Absol Mega evolved.

”Stop worrying, you should know I trust ya already. Hit ‘em hard.” Absol coalesced a large amount of psychic energy around its largest horn, and the purple glow began to get brighter and brighter before with a shake of its head, the purple wave cut into the Conkeldurr.

The Fighting type roared once more, brought down to its knees before it hurled a large stone, a stone edge directly at Airi, but using Detect Absol once more intercepted it by reading it in advance; providing an opening once more for Cinnamon.
