For once this wasn't a first, the sight he saw in the mirror with him wearing more formal--more showy clothes was too nostalgic. His hair was longer back then, his face more tired and some how despite it being in the past, more aged. If you told Lucien that one day he'll find himself in a completely different region and like a damsel in distress and beautiful lady would come sweep him up and shower him in praise before throwing him out to the wolves-- or in this case the hounds and have him join in a gang. The amount of things you could accomplish within Heonn was absurd comparatively speaking to when he was at home in Kalos, not only were there a physical restriction placed on him but the emotional and mental fatigue after it all just made him not want to even try. It came as a surprise when Lucien found out that even here there were people who were participating in racing, even having a whole gym dedicated to it.

[break][break]He just had to try it, not as a by stander as he had done, but as a participant, Mateo wasn't going to let stupid regulations tie him down. after getting in touch with they made a nice little arrangement on route 110, and nice and hip skip and jump away from his new residence to get to.

[break][break]Mateo took a far more risky approach, putting all faith in his Pokémon as he was standing on the blade of his Doublade and riding it through the skies like a snowboarder on the hills. Once he caught a glimpse of Josh and his pride, Mateo would slow down some taking in a big drag of his vape before zipping himself down to the other man's level.

[break][break]It was the moment his Doublade got close to the ground did Mateo hop off and jogged over to Josh, throwing a hand up in the air to give him give him a highfive or if he'd let him get even more friendly hand his hand and pull him into a quick one hand slap hug.

Today was one of those days where it seemed too perfect, it was creepy to see the sky without a single cloud in it, the blue stretching out so far you can even see it turn darker in the distance. Then again, as he'd place a hand down on the dull side of his doublade, using it to stable himself as he'd lean over and check out the moving city below. In his other hand, between his middle finger and index would be a thin black vape as he'd hold it to his mouth and take in a deep inhale.

Then a familiar building came to sight, maybe a bit of an overstatement since he's only been there once, but there was no harm in changing that now. In between the hot sessions of drinks and kisses, Mateo heard some rather juicy information from a small birdie about some tomb or something. Typically he wasn't completely interested in such things however this tomb was special --it was home to some long-dead royalty of Hoenn. The best part? It's up for grabs.[break][break]

Information was scarce, but it wasn't completely unknown from the public. At this point, most of the important relics and jewels had to be far gone by now, Rocket probably had their hands all over this sort of place, not to imagine the regular rift rafts and Pokémon. But that was the adventure of it, for Lucien this was far more of a personal endeavor.[break][break]

He hadn't gotten very far in before he spotted himself an urn that seemed to be tipped over and shattered, with so much time that has passed, is the sand that's within it even considered a person or could it just be dirt? A hand would reach down to gather a clump of it within his hands before letting it slip through his fingers, a depressing reminder that this is all they'll come to when they reach their end.[break][break]

That was until he felt something hard and cold within his palm, while it was too dirty to even tell right now it seemed to have been some sort of coin. He had half a mind to go and rub the coin onto his shirt, stopping himself half way as he thankfully reminded himself that this shirt was something Lani had got him.[break][break]

"Mon dieu.. she'd probably be sad, ah.."[break][break]

He fought and struggled with the idea, the very battle visibly evident as he'd bring a hand to the back of his head and scratch it. The slow and methodical movement quicken into a fever before he'd slump over and sigh again. Yeah, he can wash this later.

Dim Lights, black walls, and not a window in sight.

[break][break]From the moment you walk into this place and just before you leave, you feel like you're constantly in a state of evening; time in Club Olympus almost seems to stop and the night always feels young. Despite being new here even Lucy could tell that the summer is great for the business, she wouldn't have believed you if you told her that just on the other side of those doors it was the hottest day yet.

[break][break]However from the look of some of the customers piling in, she could tell even as the sun drops it's still too uncomfortable to stay out there for long. What better place to get yourself a drink and cool yourself off than here, at least that's what her current customer had told her as his arm comfortably rested over her shoulders.

[break][break]Currently she didn't need to do much other than act like a pretty accessory, a half empty bottle of Champaign cozily sat in her lap while both of her hands held it up and steady. He sure loved to boast, but then again who didn't? With every time he begun to talk about his great ideas and accomplishments he couldn't help himself but lightly grip on her shoulder and pulled her into him; a harmless gesture that Lucy didn't mind reciprocating with a coo like laugh and leaning into him further.

[break][break]Long ago Lucien had longer hair, but it was never to the point that with just the slight raise of his shoulder it would tickle his cheek, but for Lucy this was soon going to be the norm. After all, he looked fucking adorable with long hair. However the magic only last till midnight, the low buzzing of her client's phone on the table being the modern's world version of the bell tower.

[break][break]"Do you have to go somewhere?"

[break][break]Lucy would ask as the man would pull himself away from her, grabbing his phone with a disgruntled face.

[break][break]She'd gently place the bottle back down on the table, staying seated while her customer would get up, throwing on his jacket in a hurry.

[break][break]Lucy threw on her best pout, a finger lightly touching her bottom lip in a cutesy act.

[break][break]He was had most of is stuff gathered up as she'd stand up, reaching over for his tie to help him straighten it out for him. A satisfied smile on her face as she'd lean over to plant a kiss upon his cheek, once he turned around to head off to the cashier Lucy would stand by and wave him off. It was when he was completely out of sight and past those doors did she drop back down into her seat.

[break][break]A light scan of the room really showed how powerful the spell a club like this had on people, despite the chairs and couches being so slow you could see nearly everyone in the room. One couldn't help but feel like they were in their own little world, perhaps this was so that security could better watch over everyone; or maybe so that customers can better see who they wanted next. Either way, it's definitely a freaks wonderland here.
