It was silent for a while as she waited for the dust to settle and clear. Victoria looked around, frantically checking signs for the victor on her vital gear. Once she was able to see she saw that Oz was the one standing, albeit barely. "We won?" she questioned Oz also fell to the ground, exhausted after the entire ordeal. [break][break]

Recalling him back to his pokeball so he could rest, Tori had a smile stretching from ear to ear. "You did great." she said before inhaling sharply and turning to her opponent and offering a respectful bow. "It's been a pleasure." she said before holding out her hand for a handshake. "I had a lot of fun. You guys are scary impressive." she said with a soft chuckle. [break][break]

There was so much dust everywhere. It was hard to see anything. Tori's eyes scanned the area as she waited with bated breath. She was only met with silence until....[break][break]

The cheers from her opponents side said it all. As she looked back Osiris laid crumpled on the floor. With a soft sigh she hung her head low for a second before she reached for his pokeball and recalled him. "You still did good." she muttered as she patted the ball. As her opponents approached she nodded and bowed tot he out of respect.[break][break]

"Yeah, it was really close there. But you guys are impressive." she admitted with a soft smile. "Congrats on your victory." she winced at the reminder of their little bet. "Yeah, yeah, I didn't forget." she said as she shoved her hands in her pockets.[break][break]

"And I'm Tori." She said as she nodded her head for him to follow her. "You didn't share your name either hotshot." she added with a teasing grin as she lead them off to reward them with lunch, her treat.

Osiris had used up the majority of his energy so he could no longer maintain his mega evolved form. He looked worn out, but the same could be said for their opponent. "One last push buddy!" Tori calls out. After all this was the last attack she feared Osiris could do. "Make it count!" she shouted. [break][break]

With a grunt the Lucario does his best to avoid the falling stars. Meanwhile his trainer bites her nails, clearly on 'the edge of her seat' wracked with anticipation. So Oz decides to do what he does best. Or rather the only thing he could muster. As he blitz's towards his opponent he aims for CLOSE COMBAT. [break][break]

The flurry of blows from him to his opponent would be the last the he could do. They could only pray it would stick. Tori had to admit though, just like all of her other battles, this was extremely fun. Dynamax was such a unique phenomenon but it was obviously powerful. Victoria made a mental note to look into that later.[break][break]

The move landed and Victoria nodded in approval. Osiris stayed quick on his feet as he continued to attempt to avoid his opponents moves. This time as he ran and attempted to avoid the fissures in the ground he formed two AURA SPHERES in his hands.[break][break]

As he continued to use his agility and speed to his advantage the energy orbs in his paws grew larger before he combined them both into one larger orb and aimed it at his opponents chest. [break][break]

"Last push!" Tori cheered for Oz while he gathered together the rest of the energy he had left. Both of them were on their last legs but as the Lucario pulled together light from around him and within and molded it, he decided that his last move would at least be dazzling. Light continued to gather turning into a blinding brilliance before he shaped it into the beam FLASH CANNON that they had seen before.[break][break]

Victoria held her breath as she watched, shielding her eyes a bit. The battle was intense but this last move was for all the marbles. Who would come out on top? Who would owe the other lunch? It was all up to fate to decided. But Tori prayed that lady luck could be on her side just once more.[break][break]

Down to the wire. It was make or break time for the both of them and somehow, Oz and Tori had managed to even the odds despite how poorly they started. But for how long could they keep this up? Even she didn't have the answers to this. Osiris was on beyond fumes at this point. She felt bad about pushing him to continue but they really had no other option here. [break][break]

"Bring it home!" she cheered as Oz caught his breath before one final push. Rushing his opponent once more he engaged with his trusty fists. It was all he could muster. CLOSE COMBAT once again was his move of choice as he would seek to duke it out with his opponent once and for all. [break][break]

Osiris got the daylights shocked out of him. Literally. He went tumbling in the dirt, twitching and convulsing for a second from his opponents strike. "Get up!" they didn't have time to stay down. After all, she doubted their opponent would give them a second to breath, she wouldn't. Besides, they were here to learn and imitate real battle like scenarios. Sure this was just a lighthearted tournament at the end of the day but Oz knew what this was really about.[break][break]

Bringing himself back up and dusting himself off. With a snarl he rushed his opponent again his speed gaining till he reached the pikachu's large frame. Using it like a springboard he bounced off to launch himself in the air and ready a FLASH CANNON right to his opponent's dome. [break][break]

"YES!" Tori cheered as Oz looked at her weakly. He staggered for a moment before falling forward however his trainer was quicker. She managed to hold him up before he ate dirt. Hugging him tightly she excitedly congratulated him. It was honestly strange for Oz to experience. With a gruff from his muffled maw, Tori cleared her throat and collected herself.[break][break]

"I'm just proud of you, okay? You did a phenomenal job." she said as she brushed his head before recalling him so he could rest. Turning to her opponent she scratched her cheek for a moment before swiftly closing the distance between them. She offered a bow out of respect, a habit she had from back home in Kanto.[break][break]

"You guys were amazing." Tori admitted, and it was true. Their battle was filled with so much hype and excitement for her she still felt like she was on a high. Giving her opponent one last look over she pursed her lips before continuing. "You know...you never did give me your name." she said with a slight smirk. "I'll treat you to some fries and we can have a chat. Whaddya' say?"[break][break]

The attack landed true. One the dust settled and Tori laid eyes on the fainted pokémon, cheers erupted from the onlookers. Osiris turned to her as if to ask her if it his performance was satisfactory. Still resting in his mega form, he still had some energy left. Tori smiled and ruffled his fur. "You did great. We'll go over our notes later." She said with a nod before turning to her opponent.[break][break]

Bowing out of respect, a habit from her home country of Kanto, "It was a pleasure. And yeah, we'd love to battle again." she said with a confident smirk. With that she turned to head out of the arena with Oz right on her heels. "How about some lunch? I think we've earned it."[break][break]

Down to the wire once again. They were even for the most part. This would be the deciding factor. Oz could no longer maintain his mega evolution form having exhausted the majority of his energy. "One last push big guy." Tori said to her Lucario with a nod. With a nod and and a deep inhale in the fighting type steeled itself for one last push.[break][break]

The familiar orb of energy began to pulsate and form in his paws, though on a much smaller scale this time. His last AURA SHPERE of the match readied to meet his opponent head on in this blow for blow clash.[break][break]

Osiris respected the hustle. In fact, he was more inclined to honor it with something of his own, since he and his opponent had more in common than originally thought. As his opponent rushed him to engage in CLOSE COMBAT the Lucario met them half way. A blur of fists, kicks, swings, and jabs started off the match on a high not.

This fight was getting more and more intense as it went on. "Punch it!" Tori shouted as her Lucario would rush forward to meet his opponent in CLOSE COMBAT. Imbued with the power of the mega evolution he was feeling a bit more gutsy than before. That or he was just experiencing an adrenaline high. Once again they found themselves bouncing with excitement as they battled against strong and impressive opponents. [break][break]

Just as she had expected. Years of battle training and active wartime scenarios didn't make this rocket science. Even still they were still in this thing, even if things didn't exactly go as planned. "Recover." Tori ordered before pointing at their opponents. "And attack again." With a gruff the Lucario obeyed his trainer.[break][break]

Instead opting to rush his target and engage in CLOSE COMBAT once more. A fighting style that the fighting type clearly enjoyed. The tera typing from their opponent was proving to be troublesome so hopefully Osiris could focus up and keep his fists warmed up. [break][break]

How much longer could they hold out? Only time could tell. For now though, it would seem that Osiris could no longer maintain his mega evolved form having exhausted a lot of energy with that last attack of his. "Hang in there!" Tori called out to her partner as he fought against exhaustion.[break][break]

With a grit of his jaw he pushes himself forward attempting to rush his opponent. As he rushed towards the giant pikachu he used it's body as a springboard of sorts to launch himself into the air. Light began to pull and form as she collected it within himself before releasing it in a highly concentrated beam. A FLASH CANNON cutting through the air and space around them aimed straight for his opponents large frame. [break][break]
