It was time to see if the defenses she had built came in handy.

She managed to take the QUICK ATTACK somewhat well, before charging one last MOONBLAST to hopefully end her opponent.

"Yes, minty fresh, you could say." Ah, some mint tea would be nice right now...

"Unless you enjoy politics, I think my answer is boring. I'm a delegate from Galar, but also political turmoil has become rather rough in the area I'm from. So I'm looking for a solution," she answered simply.

No one needed to know her real reasoning.

"Kanto? Were you there during the war?" Diana asked curiously, her ghostly dragon disappearing again to attack a nearby SCRAFTY. Using his tail, Jaffa TOOK IT DOWN, slamming the poor thing onto the ground.

"Don't be too harsh on them, Jaffa," she chided, throwing a Poke ball at the fighting-type.

[attr="class","diana"]It almost felt a bit unfair to unleash a Z-move in a battle where she had no advantage to something like that. But, regardless, the battle wasn't over.

Even as Cadbury was hit with the charge, she was dazed briefly before standing her ground once more.

"Let's go, girl. You still have a chance."

Another COTTON GUARD was used to boost her defenses, the ALTARIA SINGING to lull her enemy into a sense of calm. Then she charnged forward to attack the ZERAORA with another SKY ATTACK.

"Alright. Let's finish this."

Crumpet attacked, using a HYPERBEAM to damage the grass-type Pokemon, allowing her master to throw one last Poke ball in the safari zone.

This time, it affected Cadbury, dizzying her and making her next attack, a DRAGON BREATH unable to land properly.

There was still time in the game.

No. She didn't. In actuality, it made sense to her, because she never understood why she was destined to be locked to Remiel Calcifet as a teenager. It was clear when she grew older.

However, there was a part of her that did think it was selfish that he never came back to help Galar. Perhaps it was because he never knew how bad it had gotten or how much her family and others had suffered.

Her paused was extended as she sipped her tea. "Not necessarily. But did you know that it was getting bad back home?" she asked hesitantly.

Diana's gaze was locked ahead, on the fireplace without a fire as she was unable to meet his gaze as she waited.

"Not too long. Perhaps a month or two?" she thought.

"Are you from around here?"

As they speak, wondering down the route, a DRAMPA caught her attention. Sending out Jaffa, she commanded him to attack in order for her to catch the Pokemon with ease.

Using PHANTOM FORCE, it was as though the dragon-type disappeared before appearing behind the DRAMPA, attacking it with a swipe of his claws before she threw her Poke ball.

[attr="class","diana"]Cadbury was able to knock her foe back onto its back, leaving him exposed from her attack. However, it wasn't long until he began to fight back, sending ELECTRO BALLS in the dragon's direction.

Though the electricity caught static on her feathers, she managed to avoid most of the barrage, sweeping down and charging a MOONBLAST directly at its exposed belly.

One, two, three... four spoonfuls of sugar? Something like that. She remembered making fun of him for drinking it so sweet. And following that, a bit of cream.

Hers, on the other hand, was more cream, with one spoonful of sugar.

She brought the teas over, handing over his cup with a warning that it'd be hot. "Only here and there, but I want the details about what you've seen and done. I don't care about the big news," Diana said with a small pout.

As for Ronan Calcifet... "He tells the public about Remiel, the traitor of Galar. It's how he keeps his title and promises, since he's 'the Calcifet who stayed in Galar.' He has the people's favor, even though he's ruining their lives. He does it by blaming all of the lesser families, like mine."

She blew on her tea, taking a sip. "The money we've lost to him is astronomical. And our lands have gone to ruin. We don't even own most of our properties because of him. But he's got to public to believe this is our fault. And I think a lot agree with him because I was betrothed to you, many years ago."

"He says end the crown, but he still wears it proudly. It's like a dictatorship."
