Lutgarde's mind, honestly, still feels a little bit like a tornado has just blown through it, and maybe that's not even too far off the truth. Oreo's psychic link keeps them rooted still, which they are eternally grateful for as their hand strokes through the gorgeous mane of the Galarian Rapidash. "It's really more fun than I imagined." They've never quite used speed for the pure enjoyment of it before - it's always been in the moment where they needed it, needed to get somewhere quickly or else.

It's nice letting loose for once just because they could.

At the question about Arcanine, they are pensive for a moment, before shaking their head. "I haven't really thought about it, no ... I kind of have a very soft spot for Fairy types," they laugh, patting Oreo's shoulder as they're slowing down at a more normal, casual pace. "I have a harder time connecting with other types as a trainer." Every attempt has somewhat lead to them giving them away to trainers who'd connect with them more - even if their Milotic Garnet might be a special case, perhaps. Or it's just because she's really close with Noh, their Primarina, now.

"I'll make sure to challenge you soon," they grin, "... if work allows. I think Sylv would like to battle you again, and we havne't figured out adjustments to his move set entirely yet ... but a race generally also sounds mighty fun." Despite not being focused today, they know Sylph's also itching to try out racing here.

"Thanks for the training session today," they also add, letting out a deep sigh to take in a deep breath. Their heartbeat is still racing.

The simulation doesn't give them any time to adjust - instead, Lutgarde promptly finds themself in the saddle behind Josh, and they're very glad about it. If Cyclizars are any like horses and motorbikes, having an unsteady hand is a recipe for disaster.

"Much appreciated!" they laugh, already starting the sweat to form on their skin in this truly beyond-tropical heat - and they are, as expected, in their Gothic Lolita fashion. (They did not expect to end up in a jungle. Maybe they should be better prepared for next time.) The speed is dizzying and worrying in this environment, but they trust Josh to keep control - and uh oh. Better not distract him, either, but there's a volcanic eruption in their back ...

"Think we can outrun it for now," they shout so they could be heard over the wind - they've heard the simulation's pulling different scenarios, so they hope to just keep going for long enough. There are caves that they spot, but ... they're not really elevated from what Lutgarde can see.

Lutgarde has made themself comfortable on Sylph's back, following Shalin closely in flight, with Sylv seated inside their lap. "Ready," they say, laughing quietly as Shalin's interrupted by the shaking. Just watching it made their head spin, and they grin, "I really don't know how you survive that."

It's a bit of lighthearted banter to distract from the severity of their mission, as they were tasked once more to mine for dynamax crystals and others. Lutgarde is very glad that they don't find themselves once more inside the legendary giant, and instead have a more ... "normal" threat in their eyes. Just a highly dangerous zone, nothing more, nothing less.

"Let's go and see how that spot looks like from below," they say, sighing slightly, and descend after Shalin.

With each and every wave, the pokémon learned more and better to work with one another, which is a joy to observe and be a part of, Lutgarde thinks with a grin. It's really nice that not only them and Thea were getting along, but also their pokémon.

Lutgarde almost reflexively moves slowly into a more comfortable position for Thea as they feel her head against their shoulder, cautiously adjusting her so she wouldn't suffer from too many backpains once she wakes up again. It's peaceful, and they take a deep (shallow, as to not wake Thea up) breath. The air is crisp and fresh, taking them back to Kalos' countryside.

They try not to give in to the longing for a moment, but eventually let a bit of homesickness settle on them, like a blanket, as they (somewhat awkwardly) lean on Thea, too. They are pensive for once, attracting Sylv's attention who moves over to them to loaf inside their lap.

It's morning, and a new day again. They don't chat for too long with the owner, seeing how they got to get Thea (and themself) a good breakfast after that long night. They grin at Thea's groggy voice, and laugh "Let's go!"

Oreo looks at the raging Primeape with a bit of an amused glance, and gives him an appreciative neigh before focusing on their enemies again. She'd also offer him to hop onto her back for additional height if he wanted! Noh is rather surprised to see his attack increased, but he nods towards Belle, and also encourages her to Sing along with him for real if she could. Sylv happily joins arms with Gominha as they both are using Voices to fend off the attacking ghost pokémon, and he also regards Hammy with a grateful pat of one of his ribbons. (Sylph, somewhere, fights off some ghosts before they could even approach closer, always the half-way lonesome hero.)

With their combined efforts, that wave gladly is taken care of quickly, and Lutgarde smiles as they could finally relax a bit again. "That sounds good, I'd love to chat more as well," they grin, "but don't wanna have your dad worried." They'd be quiet until Thea would have sent off the message to her dad, before picking up the conversations from before. They would have expected Thea to fall asleep regardless, but they actually chatted the night away, with interludes by invading ghost pokémon, until the sun rose again.

"Alright, that's it ... there shouldn't be any ghostly invaders for now, and the owner should show up any second ... wanna get breakfast together?" they smile, stifling a bit of a yawn. "I could use a coffee now ..." Luckily, they already see a figure approaching, so there shouldn't be much seperating them from a hearty breakfast!

The rush and speed goes beyond what Lutgarde experienced the first time, now with proper clothing and seating that allows for higher speeds. It's almost too much, and they're glad for their eyewear that they brought last-second - otherwise, they would've need to go in blind, forcing their eyes shut and hoping they'd still be alright the next time they open them. They can only glance at Josh and Ixion to the front, keeping their head and posture fixed so that Oreo doesn't have to adjust for any sudden changes with her rider, and simply can let loose as she's gaining speed being carried by glittering wind that is dancing around her, acting almost as train in her wake.

It ironically feels longer than seconds as they slow down from this peak, and Lutgarde only notices now that they've held their breath after giving Oreo the command. The horses ease up their speed a bit, allowing Oreo and Lutgarde both to recover from that insane feeling. "Woah," is the first thing that comes to mind, before they laugh, and nod at Josh's words. "Thanks, I'm really glad it worked out that well- couldn't just have you leave me and Oreo in the dust, we could not have caught up to Ixion with Agility otherwise at all," they laugh, still feeling breathless.

Lutgarde is focused on clearing up the sludge, but they notice that the other - Eris - seems to be particularly fascinated with the flowers that seem to be part of the reason this poisoning has happened. They watch as one of the flowers is carved out - with its immediate surroundings almost instantly appearing better - and tossed towards Eris, who.

By now, Lutgarde knows when they see something they maybe shouldn't have seen. Their expression becomes a frown of worry, but they try to make it neutral, friendly, easy-going - how did that go again? The sight of so many scars on such a young person leaves their heart heavy. Better focus on the wounds and scars the region has.

"Nice to meet you, Eris!" They smile again, similiar to before, with a slightly softer edge to it. "Do you recognise those flowers? I think I've seen them in a picture before, too ... or flowers that were similiar," they ponder. "If you're chilly, I can borrow you my cloak if you want," they also add, in an attempt to maybe ease the other's tension.

Lutgarde wonders for a moment what has happened to Aubre, but there might be time for questioning later - or even never, given that it might be a sensitive topic to speak about. The same applies to the talk about universes and doom - it truly feels like the trolley problem all over again, with no way to find a third solution that wouldn't end in their death.

They are perplexed as Shalin's unease about being here reached its peak, and she begged to leave as quickly as possible. Lutgarde rests a hand on her shoulder, squeezing it firmly and reassuringly, "Yeah, let's - we'll get out as quickly as we can." They need to keep a calm mind, even as they're coming to face with several mechanic pokémon, as well as some that they've never seen before (Volcanion guards).

Before Lutgarde could figure out a solution to their situation, Aubre has unexpectedly stepped forward, immobilising the swarm of guards with a combination of water and electricity. "Good thinking there, Aubre!" they say, before looking at the gate in the far distance that has been activated using a pressure plate. There's no immediate danger, they believe, but ... "Sylph, use Dragon Hammer to get one of those guards on the plate, then catch up with Extreme Speed!" they direct their pokémon, and hop off to make it towards the gate on foot. Depending on what happened in the meanwhile (if the guards got up again), it might be tricky to get the timing right, but they believe in the Togekiss.

They do look behind them, but it seems like something has caused the way back to be closed off - so the only way onward would be upwards. "Let's move quickly."

Honestly, Lutgarde feels really relieved upon seeing the Mandibuzz liking the new place, since it'd be hard to find another place that would work just as well as this one. They smile, giving the Mandibuzz and everyone a thumbs-up. "Then let's get to work, yes! Do you think you can handle moving the nest on your own? With Sylv and Sylph's help of course. Then I'd take a look at the backdoor and seal that up as best as I can." Maybe they should see if any of their beloved Fairies could produce some glue at some point ... they know none of their team knows it now, but for the future.

"Else we can do both together - moving and sealing things up," they also add, not wanting Knight to take on tasks he isn't yet ready for.

Oreo notices Knight inching closer to her, and gives him a soft neigh, before taking a step closer as well, offering her head for a few pats - she's more particular about her mane, but wouldn't mind pats on her neck and shoulder as well. She almost, comically, positions herself at the right angle for the desired pats at the moment, like a video game pet.
