The falling into another place-- and the attacking psychic spirit was making things difficult. Dizzy was fending off as best as he could, but Tarot was indisposed due to using his power to keep them in the air and safely descend. Tarot clearly had an irritated look of focus, keeping them descending while being attacked. The Victini was highly powerful, and fast as Dragapult did its think-- and luckily the ghost attacks were helping. [break][break] If Kadabra could, it would of used Shadow Ball to finish it in one shot-- but Zachary had another idea to help as he took out another Pokeball. [break][break] "We need your help-- PROPHET!!" Zachary shouted as he tossed up another Pokeball.[break][break] Lighth poored out and out came the flapping wings of the Xatu that Zachary had raised. The Xatu, Prophet let out a soft coo as it flew agove them. "Quick-- attack with Nightshade!" Xatu flapped its wings, and as it flew, its eyes glowed with an eerie presence. Dark, distorted energies shimmered around the Victini-- but oddly the ghostly power was not enough to quell the fires of hate that it was radiating. [break][break] "Well, that was a bust!!" Zachary shouted, alarmed by how strong the little psychic Pokemon was. [break][break]

He was an idiot! That was the only thing that could run through Zachary's mind at his laza-fair attitude. Well, that may of been an exaggeration, but the league was serious about the dangers and wonders of this place. Sure you could take pictures, but this was like some kind of celebrity on a thrill ride. His sense of responsibility seemed nil at best. Zachary felt the urge to hit him for it but kept his cool. The best he could do was give him a stupefied look. Dizzy just leered at the playboy, the Delphox not amused by his behavior.[break][break] Zachary didn't know he was being observed and commented on. This would of killed him if he knew. and if he did, he would of trashed the Porygon that acted like a camera. It would of humiliated him. "You know, you're just a jerk and I am not about to let you talk to me like--" [break][break] Zachary stopped as he soon saw the beast before Ozni did. Zachary rose up slowly, seeing the giant horn of the beast glow with fiery energy-- even as the beast slept. It was amazing-- and likely Ozni would die if he reacted badly. [break][break] Both Dizzy and Kirlia were silent but alarmed as Zachary rose up. "Okay, Ozni... slowly step away from it. Do not make a sound or any sudden movements and Get. Over. Here. " Zachary said with a soft but firm hiss to get it through the playboy's head. If they got close enough, Kirlia could teleport them back to the base camp before the Gourging Fire woke up. [break][break] Dizzy stared daggers at the dark skinned rich boy, silently urging the guy to get away from it. The Joltic however scurried away from Oznai and closer to Zachary and his Pokemon. Dizzy paid it no mind, but Zachary flinched-- the little bug getting closer and closer to him. [break][break] He took a step back-- and some rock crumbled under his feet, making a crackle of gravel sound. Zachary froze-- not wanting to make any more sound to rouse the beast. [break][break]

A Destructive Encounter [GC Excursion C]

Both Elise Calcifet and Zachary now ventured through the Cavern here that led down to Area Zero. After their encounter saving Zachary from the Dark Triad cultists, he was glad he had overcome any misunderstandings with her. She was struggling with a lot right now. The death of her mother, her duties as an ambassador. There was a lot going on, and she was here acting as a medic too. Zachary was humbled by her dedication, while here he was, hoping to just explore the unknow like some naive fool. He had much to learn-- but in the end, it was why he was there. [break][break] Zachary and Elise were out exploring, on a mission for further examining the wildlife pokemon that frequented there. With him, Zachary kept Dizzy there, and this time, since they were out of Area Zero-- had a more friendly companion. His Mime Jr, Happy. Since the danger here was not as bad, having more relaxed company was not bad as they traveled with Elise. [break][break] "I'm glad I took on the volunteer position to visit this place. It's amazing. And no shortage of excitement it seems," Zachary said as they further went into the caverns. [break][break] As they explored-- it was when they found them. Massive, odd tracks now engraved in the stone. They were not simple tracks in the dust, but imprints in the very stone-- left by something strong and heavy. [break][break] Zachary paused, and Dizzy looked around, nervous for a fox. He knelt down and traced the tracks, curious to what caused this. [break][break] "Elise, have you ever seen tracks like these before? Did another paradox Pokemon come through? Or could it be something done by that Dark Triad group? " he asked. [break][break]

"Ultra Holes? HERE?!" Zachary asked. He did know a bit about those boundaries, but he didn't know they were here in Mt. Pyre. Clearly drawn to the desire to see these other places and worlds-- Zachary didn't hesitate. With their agreement, they entered the water fall entrance. Everyone was able to get in-- till Kadabra ended the control with dizzy behind them. The waterfall returned-- drenching Dizzy behind them. [break][break] As they entered the cave, they got a good look to see that Dizzy was the only one drenched, looking like a soaked rat-- whom started daggers at the Kadabra. Tarot, however, snickered to himself behind his long mustashe. Dizzy growled and soon stiffened up. [break][break] "Dizzy--wait don't---!!" [break][break] Too late as the Delphox shook, shaking his fur and the spray of water going everywhere. Everyone got a bit of water on them now as the fox speedily dried himself with his fur and fire, only adding to the flames of frustration with Kadabra's antics. [break][break] Arron clearly wouldn't be happy by that too... but the time for humor passed as both Pokemon sensed the unease of mystery in this place. [break][break] However it was then the portal appeared-- and soon they all were falling. A scream came from Zachary as did his other Pokemon. However-- Tarot was pretty Zen as he fell. Dizzy was freaking out, now barking loud as he failed his limbs. With no other choice, Tarot took action to save his 'annoying' comrades. [break][break] Tarot crossed his legs and glowed as he closed his eyes. An aura glowed around him-- and soon too did on Zachary and Dizzy. Their fall slowed, now going into a soft hover by a mysterious energy. It slowed their descent. "Well that was close..." Zachary commented, but soon saw it. Among the other wordly elements,they saw a flame and it took shape-- becoming a small, pointy eared creature. A Victini! Zachary's eyes widened with amazement, seeing the powerful psychic/fire type, just like Dizzy. "Oh my Mew-- a Victini! I never thought I'd see one!" Zachary said, wishing he could befriend it. But sadly it was not willing to be friendly as black flames mixed with its red. Something was wrong! [break][break] Black and red flames came shooting out, attempting to hit them all with its corrupting fire. [break][break] Seeing the incoming attack while they descended, Dizzy took action and took out his stick. He quickly drew a circle of fire in the air, quickly becoming a rainbow of colored flames. With a cry, he threw a Mystical Fire too! The two flames collided, one fighting to fend off the other and overpower them. Dizzy was defending them... but it wouldn't last long. [break][break]

Between a Rocket and Hard Place [AZ Excursion A Exploration]

This was bad. As in, very, very bad. Last thing Zachary thought was to head righti into a trap made by Team Rocket. He knew about them, but figured he could avoid such conflict. And now, he was in front of a pokemon he never seen before, and a voice echoing around him, accusing him of being a league member. Which, was true. [break][break] Dizzy growled defensively, not about to let this attacker threaten his trainer. Tarot, on the other hand, looked on with a neutral look of distain to the Electric cat as well as challenge. Unlike Zachary or Dizzy, the Kadabra showed no sign of fear or hesitation. However, an all out fight was not a good idea, in an unknown place with an unseen foe somewhere nearby. [break][break] So in the spirit of his Delphox companion, he would try to 'out-fox' his foe. He kept calm and looked up above to the voice around him. " Well, looks can be deceiving. Or are you so willing to attack a member of the Dark Triad of all people. Even you should know what hell that would bring upon you." Zachary said. [break][break] Dizzy gave Zachary a dumbfounded look, but said nothing. The Dark Triad-- the other mysterious group who had been lurking around here, and whom Zachary and Elise Calcifet had encountered here as well. No doubt, this person may have heard of them. As both were related, shadowy groups, perhaps his bluff would give him some chance of survival. "I imagine my superiors wouldn't be too happy to hear that Rocket struck a blow by killing one of our kind. Maybe you're the one who need to rethink things? Let me pass, and I promise I will cause you no further trouble." He offered, trying to sound both unthreatened and cool. [break][break] Of course, he looked nothing like those masked freaks, and had Pokemon far different from the Unown they used. However, perhaps the convincing use of "Psychic" types, would give him some merit. [break][break] All the same, Kadabra kept his spoon up at the mystery pokemon. [break][break]

Call it intuition, but Zachary felt this guy wasn't taking him very seriously. His comment suggested humoring him, which Zachary didn't appreciate. He now was glad Dizzy pushed away the camera. Dizzy cast a growl at the dark skinned trainer/celebutant. Zachary at least was there to explore-- to learn about this amazing place. ANd this guy was just there to take pictures and raise his popularity. He really hated that kind of trend and this guy was just fueling the fire. [break][break] "Don't you think this is not the time OR place to be working on your social media streaming? We are in the middle of a proprietary, hazardous area full of Mew-knows-what Pokemon and whatever else is out here. Do you want this to end like the movie "Cloverfield"?" Zachary said, referring to a scary first-person view movie he saw. .[break][break] The guy formally introduced himself as Ozni-- CEO of Adebyo Industries. His eyes widened at that-- that was his mother's competitor. Zachary kept it quiet for now. He glanced away, as his mother worked R&D of many technologies, but as a consultant too as she made new cutting edge pokegear. Further, he was showing off his goods to the camera. THe man was a media **** from the sound of it. "Well, I see a good tool right about now..." Zachary grumbled under his breath. With his big ears, Dizzy heard it-- and snickered with a paw covering his mussel. [break][break] It was getting warm there. And not just cause of the fyre type Tera crystals. As Ozi let out his Jotic, Zachary clinched at it. He too had a bad habit of being afraid of bugs, but he had to admit, the Joltic was cute. [break][break] "There is a chance the Area Zero portals in this area can be connected to something more... volcanic? It's always possible, or we are near a Pokemon who radiates great heat..." Zachary thought aloud as he recorded the data from their surroundings for those back at camp. At least HE was doing his job. [break][break] A scary thought occurred to Zachary however. Certain Pokemon were known to emerge from here. Legendary even... [break][break] A pokemon who would generate an insane amount of heat. [break][break] It couldn't be... but would a Groudon show up here...? [break][break] "We probably shouldn't stay too long..." Zachary said as he looked around, nervous if his imagination really did get the better of him. [break][break]

Dancing to the Tune of Battle!

The music raged-- and only now playing to Happy's victory as he kept maintaining the wall! As the Encored Aegislash continued to bash at the wall, Happy held the barrier in place. Despite such a sturdy defense, Happy looked focused and strained as he used his little hands to maintain the wall for a bit. [break][break] "Hang in there, Happy!" Zachary encouraged his Pokemon. From the sidelines, Dizzy also cheered. [break][break] By now, Arron KNEW what Zachary was up to. A trainer of his skill could see it coming. The audience was mixed at some knew-- and some didn't have a clue and still mocked the mime. [break][break] But that would change soon... [break][break] Arron's Aegislash soon got clever and began to ascend up and over the wall. Happy saw it, and let out a nervous chirp of dread. "Clever iron... Happy, Psybeam!! " [break][break] It was then that Happy moved to the music, his arms shot up to the airborne Aegislash. With a raise of its arms, a multi-colored beam of light went off from him, hitting the Aegislash-- despite its lack of effect. All the while, Happy moved to the beat of the music. Even if the Psybeam wasn't that effective-- the probably to cause it to get confused was still high. [break][break] As the music went on and Happy 'danced', Zachary smirked. It was now time... [break][break]

[break][break] After Happy's repelling flash-- sound snapped as something appeared overhead. The audience went into shock and amazement as it happened. Future Sight again! Dizzy's final gift to the fight after he had been defeated-- and some didn't even know that Future Sight would still go on, even after the caster's defeat. Dizzy smirked as he sat next to Zachary, proud of himself. [break][break]--MASS DESTRUCTION!![break][break] At that very right beat of the climax to Happy's favorite music, the orbs of highly-charged psychic energy came crashing down! The Future Sight struck into Aegislash, now unable to defend himself from the powerful attack. [break][break] As the smoke cleared, Zachary smiled, proud of himself and his strategy. The audience went dumbfounded, surprised Zachary got the drop on Arron and won up with such a little pokemon. And they had not seen anything yet. Happy was full of tricks up his sleeve. Zachary returned a kind smile to Arron, suggesting his pride in his creative thinking. [break][break]

While both Foxes seemed well-tempered, Zachary noticed the ice one was more friendly as Zachary extended a hand-- and the fox bumped into it openly. She nuzzled his palm and licked him, clearly welcoming Zachary's caress as he gave in and petted the fox. "Wow... I like this one. I gotta get one of my own someday. They are so mysterious," Zachary expressed, scratching the Ninetails behind the ears like Dizzy liked. The fox gave a happy coo, enjoying the carress. [break][break] Meanwhile as Dizzy laid there and slowly got up, he soon saw both Houndoom and the fiery Ninetails look at him. Dizzy felt welcomed as both canines conversed with him. He gave a happy bark, showing his gratitude. [break][break] Shalin's offer for a tour and from a Ranger of all people, was a very welcomed surprise. Giving Dizzy a glance, the fox seemed comfortable with her pokemon as well. A smile showed on Zachary's face as he decided it was a good idea. "I'd very much appreciate it, miss. I'm eager to really start earning badges to prove my worth. I hope to one day become a Gym Leader, myself. " he expressed. [break][break] With that, Zachary followed Shalin as she led them into town, to show the more pleasant sites of this city. Dizzy and his new friends also were not far behind as they too got to know one another. [break][break]

Between a Rocket and Hard Place [AZ Excursion A Exploration]

Area Zero was just as mysterious as the caverns, but far more chaotic. Time and space seemed to fluxuate here, and energies from the other worlds pulsed into this place. Zachary was more fascinated than afraid as he explored the area. He wasn't far from the camp, but was able to move around the area without too much difficulty. Partly due to the fact he had many psychic types and a good number that knew Teleport. A handy power, but more important for the events of exploring Area Zero and the cavern above-- was to escape in the event of danger. Zachary and whatever colleagues he had, would easily be wisked away back to the camp where they came from. [break][break] This time, Zachary went alone to explore one of the caverns that grew various crystals. He had figured out many of these crystals carried essential energy for pokemon of certain types. It explained why some would just show up and could survive in this place, despite being so deep underground and where space-time was warped. The closest thing he had ever seen similar was when a Pokemon teleported. This time, Zachary wanted to try and find one that resonated to Psychic Types, or those outside of the generic elemental attributes. Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, ext. [break][break] As he and Dizzy passed by a few crystals-- something did stick out. Ruins. Ruins of old structures, looking like someone had lived down there in ancient times. Facinated, Zachary looked over the building, finding ancient carvings. The carvings reminded him of ones he saw back on Mt. Pyre. [break][break] His pokemon with him, Dizzy the Delphox and Tarot the Kadabra, kept close to him-- to watch his back. Or for the Kadabra, a golden opportunity to prank Zachary if he got the chance. However, even here-- Tarot knew this was a dangerous place and kept his pranks to a minimum. [break][break] "Amazing... either people from some world had lived down here-- or it is possible these ruins were translocated down here. But still. the idea if Pokemon can make this a habitat, why not people? INcredible," Zachary said as he took down some notes and took photos with his Poketec. [break][break] However... he didn't realize he was being watched-- and from the most menacing of fellows. He had no idea the danger he was about to wind up in. [break][break]

Somewhere outside... The mischievous Abra had teleported itself to a high tree that overlooked the outside of the falls. It looked at its new treasure of Zachary's Tarot cards. As it moved through the cards-- it soon saw it. One of the cards, The Magician which was a stylish interpretation of Abra's future form-- Alakazam. Abra could tell that was one of the reasons Zachary had wanted to catch him so badly. They were not simple playing cards, but something 'significant' to the trainer. [break][break] A little ping of guilt showed in the Abra's heart as it soon looked down-- spying as the humans and their pokemon emerged from the caves at last. [break][break]

[break][break] Zachary, Dizzy, and Happy kept company as Zachary now held two new Pokeballs-- each one containing the Shelgon, and also the Milotic who saved him. They had expressed their liking to Zachary and choose to go with him. [break][break] As he took word to what Ever said from the caves, Zachary nodded. "YOu're right. I'm sorry I was so reckless there. " Zachary said as he looked back to Ever. "You see, while I am happy to use other pokemon, I am aspiring to become a Psychic-trainer. My dream is to someday become a Gym Leader. I figure to do that, I should still compete in the league. But since I am just starting, I wanted to find places where psychic types frequent. " he explained. [break][break] Zachary gave a soft laugh as he rubbed the back of his head, embarrassed. "Guess grabbing hold of a teleporting Abra was not the best idea, huh?" Zachary said. [break][break] Dizzy didn't find it funny as he glared at Zachary and pointed his stick at Zachary. He gave a series of patronizing barks, as if to say 'don't ever do something like that again'. [break][break] "Okay, okay! I'm sorry I made you worry, Dizzy!" Zachary said, his hands up in defense. The fox accepted it and put his stick away. [break][break] He turned to Ever, knowing he was a bit unwelcoming to Zachary's conversation. He hoped he didn't say anything bad to him. "Well, I really am grateful you were able to help me. But yeah, I'll try to be more careful. I won't come back here till I have a bit more experience under my belt. Still, psychic types are hard to find." he said with a smile. [break][break] Suddenly, a flash of light went off right behind Zachary, followed by a sudden weight on Zachary's back. [break][break] The next moment they blinked-- an Abra appeared right on Zachary's back, like a monkey! Dizzy gave an alarmed and angry bark, looking like he was the one outfoxed. Zachary glanced at him, stunned. "A-Abra?! What are you doing here?" [break][break] Abra hopped down from Zachary's shoulders and slowly turned to Zachary. While Dizzy and Happy were on guard, worried that it was up to more mischief-- Abra's neutral expression didn't hint anything. Then, the little Abra raised up its paws, holding Zachary's Tarot Cards. He offered it up to Zachary, in an attempt to return them. [break][break] "My cards! Are you giving them back to me?" Abra answered him but urging the cards back. Zachary gingerly accepted the cards, finding them in good condition. "Wow... Thank you, Abra. You're a lot nicer than I thought," Zachary said with a smile. [break][break] After a moment, Abra bowed its head before Zachary, accepting his thanks. However, there was more, Abra sat there, as if expecting something. Zachary blinked, till he soon took out a Pokeball for Abra. "Abra, I'm sorry how we started off. But I really want you to join me on our journey. I want to become a psychic trainer, and I want to have a Pokemon as great as you with me. Would you come with me, please?" Zachary asked, kneeling down so he could look Abra on even ground as best as he could. The Abra looked up, almost puzzled as he looked at Zachary and the ball he held. After a moment, Abra soon rose up and reached for the ball. He touched the button-- and soon he transformed into light. The energy flew right into the Pokeball as it opened, and snapped shut. After a few small wobbles in Zachary's hand, it quickly stopped, showing that Abra was now secured in his ball. [break][break] Zachary couldn't contain his smile as he soon had Abra in his hands, and the promise to raise it well. Zachary turned to Ever and Dizzy, showing them the Pokeball with Abra. "Hehe... looks like my luck is turning around, huh?" he said with a modest smile. He didn't wanna do something lame that said "I CAUGHT AN ABRA!!" . [break][break]

"Whrrrrroooooww!" Dizzy hollared as the fox tried to ride the bigger dog-- and after a few seconds fell head over heels. Dizzy landed on his back, looking blankly up at the sky till the Houndoom walked up to him. The dog gave a few friendly licks to the fox's cheek, urging him to get up. [break][break] Realizing what the ranger meant, Zachary nodded and saw as she produced two more Pokemon-- bringing out BOTH beautiful Ninetails of different types. The fire and ice ones. Zachary's eyes lit up with amazement. "Oh WOW! You got two Ninetails and of their different types. You're so lucky! " Zachary said as he approached them, giddy. Clearly he had a love for foxes like his Delphox. They were so elegant and beautiful. "Can I pet them please?" he asked, looking at the two foxes side by side. [break][break]
