It seems like God General Harcourt's training is not of the actual combat kind. It's ... an interesting approach for sure. Fenelle doesn't flinch as they're presented with the choice, eyeing the prisoner with a raised eyebrow. That second grievance definitely ... sounds a bit fake, but then again, dee can also see why. Maybe.

It's hard to decide without further intel, dee signs at der partner, Kenjiro, with a pensive glance. However, it also doesn't seem like there will be more info, as people await their decision. The Rotom also seems rather uncomfortable, but continues doing its job of translating.

It's dangerous to cull our numbers too much, but, an offense is an offense. Conspiring with a council member is a big problem.

Fenelle's expression is neutral and indifferent as ever, but it seems like there's a colder edge to it.

Dee simply nods at Kenjiro's words about not getting embarrassed this time, translated again by der Rotom that floats nearby. However, not many words are needed at the moment, as even without reading the textual transcription, dee has a feeling.

There's no auditory input needed to fear. A shiver merely from the vibes, the visual signals of the God General makes dem question. Ponder for a moment. (And as ever, der mind strays, wondering. How long 'till he's not human, if anyone's ever been that in the first place.)

And still, even as the notion of training under The Charlatan is tempting ... dee looks at Kenjiro, staying where dee is with Zev unless the other might want to make another choice.

It's actually fortunate how things turned out for Fenelle. Aurelie Lefevre has seemed rather embarrassed about not having anything to transcribe the spoken announcements properly, but dee actually doesn't mind ... since it means that one more of the autism gang could be on stage. Porygon's floating next to dem in a tablet, currently displaying variations of beep boops that it seems to use to communicate with the actual contestant - Magnemite.

Dee readies demself next to the other contestants, and since this is a civilian appearance, dee actually makes an effort to awkwardly smile at the others before glancing towards the side where the rest of the autism gang would be - a Ralts, a Fuecoco, a Vanillite and a Milcery, all looking like they'd really like to storm the stage. Seperation anxiety is honestly something dee should consider working on.

Ready? dee signs and asks der pokémon, oh, actually more Magnemite- oops. Still, they both confirm and the show would start! Aurelie does an amazing introduction, from which Fenelle might or might not take some mental notes home ... and then, it's baking time! Oh, eh, cooking time!

As now, Fenelle's secret objective would also be revealed ... really pushing the intersection of cooking and baking. For the first task, it's actually easy enough - immediately, dee moves to prepare some Baozi, specifically Cha siu bao that dee knows is coming from Kantonese cuisine. Dee meticulously prepares the dough, before moving onto the filling which, really, is the lesser exact science of the whole thing. As long as it comes out okay, that's alright - but if the dough's bad, the whole dish will just die. (In der eyes. The best calories come from dough, in der opinion.)

Dee lets Magnemite control the steamer, which might or might not be a good idea ... and gets ready to present the end product!

Maybe or maybe not inspired by the recent embarrassment in front of another beast, Fenelle seems to be exceptionally sharp at combat training today. Strength and acquiring has, despite being more of an indoor-computer person, always been something dee has aspired for, for whatever reason. Grimmsnarl and Hisuian Goodra are by der side, as dee looks at der partner of today and the other day, contemplating the choices.

But eventually, dee points subtly at Zev with a questioning expression.

There is indeed little to do in a direct match against a member of the Elite Four, and the duo of them with their quartet of pokémon have to be rescued by a Beast's arrival. After successfully driving the Leaguers away, dee takes a deep breath when reading the higher-ups preaches, scolding their lapse in judgement. There's a stubborn part of dem that still aligns with der choice despite the outcome, but dee is aware that this part should be really quiet and ideally not surface again.

At Kenjiro's words, dee nods. "And we've witnessed firsthand now why," dee signs with a nod, before frowning. "Gotta make sure this scenario won't occur again ... but let's go back to re-routing." Maybe, there's actually a smudgeon of shame about an unwise decision that starts to spread, but dee is also confident in simply ignoring that.

The Froakie's quickly put into the box for later use, and the beach trip continues! However, as the day progresses, Fenelle once more realises just how bad of an idea this all has been ... dee quickly searches shelter in a nearby café that still overlooks the beach. With everyone having gone home, dee is actually one of the few customers around, which is honestly pretty nice.

Firstly, taking a while for ordering doesn't attract unwarranted attention (dee doesn't super care, but it's better to stay under the radar more), and secondly, less people means less body heat.

It also means that dee and der gang can occupy an entire table in the corner with all their various orders.

Fenelle is instantly alarmed as dee sees the invading League Agents, among them prominently also Greyson Connors, a member of the Elite Four. A tough enemy, but it's uncertain if there'd be time to call for backup. Dee reads Kenjiro's words from one screen, and Greyson's words from the other.

Yes, is the simple answer to Kenjiro while the Leagues would only see how a Grimmsnarl and a Hisuian Goodra are called onto the field - who immediately charge forward. If anything, the battle noise should hopefully be alert enough for others to arrive to the spot.

Mille's finished an errand out in the sweltering heat, and the way back to HQ seems incredibly long. Once more a reason to get a Teleport-able pokémon, but for now, dee would have to suffer ... gladly, dee spots a bakery nearby that openly advertises air-conditioned. Dee would not linger on that thought any longer, welcoming the artificial cold and the smell of sweet, sweet sweetness.

Before starting to browse the wares, dee and the floating Rotom-tablet next to dem would take a moment to calm down and look at the general store- spotting a particularly fancy and interesting Alolan Ninetails. It's shiny, and moreover, dee squints ... ... these are some strange markings indeed. But, as ever, attention doesn't actually stay for too long as dee notices a familiar face. Dee gestures for the Rotom to follow and start translating, tapping Makoto on the shoulder, before pointing to the Rotom.

"Oh, hey Makoto! Didn't expect to meet you here." The Rotom's voice a default, but seems to accurately say what Fenelle signs.

Fenelle's swift with installing the cameras following the instructions, and would help der fellow Rocket with steps if he needed any help. Dee is fully focused on the hum of the work that dee misses the strangeness going on, and only notices as Metagross pings dem that Kenjiro's speaking to dem, as well as the Rotom translating the words.

Dee frowns, having a careful look around, before tapping the Metagross for confirmation. A quick psychic sweep, and maybe ...

I was too focused on work, so no, but Metagross and Rotom agree. We should go investigate - if anything's here, we gotta know. Allowing a hole in the defenses at this crucial timing? Bad idea.

Fenelle pauses for a moment. Squints a bit at the text. "What's Deedee?"

However, the following information is actually more interesting. Dee nods, reading with a very interested look, and then nods some more. "I might stop by the science department then ... I don't need any particular upgrades, but it's always nice to hang around technology. I need to upgrade my hardware skills." There is, in fact, way too much dee wants to work on than dee would ever have time for.

The following events also ... huh. Der own Rotom does translate, but now the other Rotom-drone has been ejected from its drone, and actually acts as the opponent for the Dreepy now. Well, at least now der Dreepy is actually awake. She is surprised by the sudden battle start and hit by the Thunder Wave, but tries to shake off the electricity as quickly as possible - and goes in for a swift move, using Quick Attack. However, there's some hesitation in her flight - does the move hit when she won't be hit? Questions-

Fenelle meanwhile looks at Yuan pensively. Would it be like with Mr Beckett? "How do you give your pokémon commands?"
