whatever he says seems to make sense--his rotom-phone floats out his pocket and into his hand, the one that's currently slung over priam's shoulder. marcel waves it around a bit for good measure, as if that would do anything. it fails to dawn on him that his phone has none of the tools he needs.

"you want a new name?" he shakes priam again. "i can give you a new name too."

he's momentarily distracted as a notification pops up on his screen. while he opens his messages with one hand, the other rummages through his pocket for his porygon2, still set on the impossible task he's given himself.

giada morgan's text makes little sense, but it hardly makes much difference. marcel types out a response to convey the following: he's glad she's having a good time, he hopes she's not being too reckless, and that he still expects her to show up on time to work tomorrow. a string of emojis, with the occasional word or two littered here and there, ends up being what he sends.
