For the most part Kaz had just been listening to the rest of the meeting go down and evolve from a report of the primal points and the battles around them to attacking Sootopolis and crippling if not crushing Rocket's forces right then and there. Well, at first he was all on board with it but then the talks sort of...he wasn't even sure how to put it. He just kept quiet for the most part nudging his little metal car engine with his leg as it tried to use it like a traffic cone.

When the Hero of Hoenn got up to try and diffuse a situation that looked ready to blow Kaz let out a silent sigh of relief. Kyle did live up to the name at least. Maybe he should live up to his then. "I know I'm not much of a big shot anymore on Team League but I still want to knock Rocket outta the sky as much as the next guy here does. Maybe I can run recon for us in the meantime. And yeah I get I might be recognizable but I can still be unnoticeable. Kinda got a bit of a track record in ending up in places I'm probably not supposed to be in."

Not that all of those times were done on purpose. "I mean another eye on the ground can't hurt right?"

Its Elinor Anderson's concerns that causes Kaz to suddenly snap his fingers towards her as her words spin into an idea in his head. "Or I could help keep tabs on them. And if they do run then we'd have someone deep in the trenches to run a bit of sabotage. They might expect an attack on two fronts, doesn't mean they'll expect how we do it."

Curiosity was growing deep inside of him as he couldn't tear his gaze away from the strange seal and its markings that was right before them. This whole place was strange but this one strange structure took the cake. Even in a world where he was hearing voices this seemed to stand out the most like it just didn't belong. Or...maybe it did? Kaz joined Kyrenai Black in approaching it and reaching a hand out to try and get a feel of what this was made out of.

With his hand outstretch his fingers inched ever closer to touching it. He didn't even see the hairs on his hand stand up on edge as he did. Once they made contact more than just his hair stood up, his spine straightened, his throat felt like something was bubbling inside, and even his eyes got a bit misty as he reeled back shaking his hand as if to shake off something that was clutching it. "What the-" That feeling that surged through his body, how could he even describe it? Hate? Grief? A mixture of the two? Whatever it was it didn't feel right, "Hey maybe we should-"

Words left his lips but would they find Kyrenai Black's ear?

As the group pass the Aurorus Kaz can't help but think that they did all that they could for today seeing as how there wasn't even a squeak of a Pokemon out here. At least that's what he thought until a cry reached his ears and his head snapped in its direction. There was a pink speck in the distance and Kaz was already moving his legs to carry him towards it before shouting back, "Hey I think I found something!"

As he got closer the sight before him struck at his heart a little bit, there in the ice was the hammer of a Tinkatuff desperately trying to pull it out but the small creature didn't seem able to. "Hey there little fella, you got that stuck in the ice? Here let us help." He motioned his Charizard to come over and jerked a thumb at the hammer. With a huff the large lizard lowered its head and let out a weak flamethrower around the hammer to melt the ice. The tinkatuff let out a squeal out of fear but Kaz knelt down and placed a hand on its head to stop it from running into the fire. "Hey hey don't worry. He's a professional."

As the ice turned into a puddle and the hilt of the hammer landed on the ground with a thud the Charizard took the heavy object into his mouth and out of the fire and placed it at the Tinkatuff's feet. Kaz tapped the hammer to make sure that it was cool enough to hold and let the little pink creature run up and pick it back up with ease. "There ya go. Now how about you run along now and-" As he got up to leave he suddenly felt something tug onto his leg and saw the little pink gremlin holding onto his leg looking up at him with stars in its eyes. That look alone made Kazimir sweat as he slowly took out a pokeball to show it to the creature. "Do you uh...want to come with me?" The creature nodded and Kaz let the ball fall on its head and watched as it disappeared into the ball, giving Genevieve Cromwell a nervous smirk, "Guess...I saved another one?"

It was the same song and dance they've always had. The moment they locked eyes onto one another it was like a heated romance reignited again after so many years of not seeing one another. Of course it had only been what a week or so since the League and Rocket butted heads with each other but every time they did it always started with one look.

The look to kill.

At the very least the group of League personal they ran into wasn't one that was short on talent. "Just cover my back and I'll cover yours." He replied back to Callan Young who offered his assistance to his predecessor Elite Four. Appreciation was all but a given from Kazimir as he eyed the large bird they brought with them who summoned rain with its appearance, lucky for them a snow front came their way to halt it. It didn't really halt their actions against the group as one of them brought out a Decidueye and launched an arrow right at luka chêne!

Kaz's body was quicker than his mind to react as he jumped in front of luka chêne with a pokeball in his hand opening up as he did. In a flash of white a blue blade emerged and struck at the arrow with a Shadow Claw to erase it from this world leaving nothing but the blue embers of the blue blade as a Ceruledge formed the rest of its body and took its steadfast stance in front of their foes. The malice that made up its body brimming to the surface as the flames around it burned and even brighter blue as it stared down the line of Rockets in front of it with Kazimir joining in right behind it, only his gaze was accented with a cocky grin that gave his face this odd sense of hunger to it.

"Always knew Rocket was cheap, guess those game corners aren't really doing it for ya anymore are they?"

Mapping the seas of Hoenn was a task that Kaz could see the good captain undertake as well as take note of all the rifts happening around ever since Meteno managed to not turn this whole planet into an asteroid field. All the stories he heard of her in passing did paint the girl as the adventurous type, and his own personal experience with her added a coat of endearing crazy to her. Truth be told he had to admire her for it, he wasn't a seafarer himself so taking notice of changes in the sea wasn't something that he even gave a single thought to outside of seeing a bit more dangerous parts of the water as he made his way here. The seas were a mystery to the man.

"Well props to ya for doing something like that. I'm sure lots of sailors will appreciate the effort." The ocean probably disagreed as the boat started to shift right underneath them and even Kaz nearly fell back into the water as he leaned against the guard rail with his arms keeping him propped up and he looked in awe as some kind of fish was suddenly flung out from the water and onto the deck. He just stared in confusion on what it was supposed to be before Skyler took it upon herself to toss a ball and catch it with little effort.

Once the rocking had stopped Kaz stood up straight with his knees doing a bit of shaking as he did while he looked back out into the sea, something about it now gave an air of mystery he never quite had for it. "That...yeah that was something. Seems like a lot of new Pokemon are showing up because of it. Thinking about adding them to your fleet captain? Or should I say admiral?" the tone in his voice was much more lighter than before as he tried to shake off the scare they just had with a small half joke, "I hear jokes about you having a whole fleet of wailord or something...that's not true is it?"

It wouldn't be all that surprising but his curiosity was begging him to find some kind of confirmation ever since hearing about it.

Kaz watched as the pair of the Weezing and Serperior went on past them only for the other guy to try his hand at catching the grass snake with an Arcanine. The battle was short but sweet to watch, so much so that he couldn't help but let out a whistle once the pokeball managed to land its mark on the snake and devour it whole like a snorlax with lunch. The Weezing on the other hand fled as fast as it could the moment it saw the large dog be brought out. Smart move.

Then came the answer to his question which was...quite ordinary. He wasn't sure what he was expecting honestly from a guy out here in the forest. "Well good luck with that, seems like we're always getting some new kind that show up every so often. As for me," he couldn't help but stretch his arms by holding them up high with his fingers interlocked with one another as the faint sound of bones cracking could be heard from his massive arms, "I'm just doing some training with my Pokemon, specifically the big purple guy. He could use some experience fighting different kinds of Pokemon."

"alright one more lap it is then! hey scorcher!" calling out to his charizard the dragon didn't arrive the moment he was called. kaz took the first step forward waiting for it to show up only for it suddenly fly past them being chased by a metagross of all things. that was surely a dangerous kind to run into especially out in the open like this but...kaz found it hard to believe that it was giving his own pokemon a spot of trouble. "C'mon stop playing around! we gotta do another round of rescue! so ask your buddy if he wants to join us!"

With those words piratically shouted at the top of his trainer's lungs the charizard couldn't just turn tail now. he would look pathetic! so as the metal creature came closer the dragon spun around and let out a flamethrower like tongue of flames at the metagross sending it crashing towards the ground where it was met with a soft thud of a pokeball that kazimir threw out to catch it with before picking it up as it wobbled. "Well now, where were we? oh right, c'mon we might find something if we give one last look yeah?" and with that he pretty much sprinted off ahead of Geneviere.

"Huh? Yeah hold up!" the ginger man cried out as he ran after the woman when she brought him back to reality. It was probably for the best as he was thinking a little bit too much about the strange voices that were praising him out of no where just now. While the praise was welcome it didn't leave Kazimir with a feeling of gratitude, instead a feeling of discomfort at the fact that he was hearing such things at all.

With that he practically jumped forward and ran after his companion as they reached a waterfall and mentioned something about it hiding something behind it. Kurenai was quick to climb around the water and even pretty good at jumping from rock to rock to get behind it with Kaz following right behind her. While his bulk made it a bit awkward to get solid footing around the rocky wall his height made up for it for letting him reach out and grab onto the same rocks she used instead of jumping from them. He still got a bit soaked by the waterfall being so closer to him than her though.

As he joined her in the cave while soaking wet he didn't seemed fazed by being drenched once he laid eyes on the large structure in front of them. To say it was impressive was an understatement. "Whoa... That looks out of place even in here." He commented as he looked over the structure as it glowed, highlighting the cracks along its surface as they broke up the pattern decorating it. Unlike Kurenai he wasn't eager to go right up to it and only noticed at the last second how close she was getting, "Hey careful! Something this big is probably here for a reason!" he called out to her as he couldn't keep his gaze off of the strange glowing circle.
