it really has been a while, hasn't it? [break][break]

she can't remember the last time they've done this. it's felt like forever ago - and yet they've fallen back into it like they've never stopped. it's come so naturally for her, she hasn't even realized how much she's missed this - it's something that was so mundane previously (enjoyable and simple, and mundane) that she had never even paid much attention to. there's more appreciation she's feeling now, as her heart pounds from the excitement and she finds it harder to suppress a smile. [break][break]

she finds the ingredients, and a hum with a smile form on her lips as she pulls them out to begin prepping. she tugs at the apron to the side, makes for the sink to wash her hands, then pulls the fish over and onto a chopping board. "i'm sure our pokemon would want some servings too, though~" she chimes "remember when we didn't make enough for some of them? they'd look so sad~"

the sight alone makes the travel worth it. [break]
being able to travel with him, like old times, made this worth it. [break][break]

"brings back memories, doesn't it?~" she asks, tucking a lock of deep, violet hair behind her ear as the breeze blows past her. "it's been too long since we've been able to admire a view like this, mmn?" since they've been to a festival in the past, if she recalls. on those many nights, identical to the one where she gave her the butterfly pin she still wears to this day. the one she wore far before they parted, and after they parted. [break][break]

then an idea comes to mind, and she tosses two pokeballs - one for a beautifly, and one for a vivillon - with a smile on her face. "we should capture this view with a photo! it's not every day where we get to come out like this~" she's already moving over, tugging him down with her other hand to cup his cheeks between her fingers.

".. wait, really?" [break][break]

he's surprised, she's surprised - hell, she didn't think the music would actually work. "huh.." she's still in somewhat disbelief, but she sighs and rubs her face, slightly, as she glances to the other panda, who appears less willing. at the very least, they've solved the mystery for one of them. the problem is trying to figure something out for the other one.. [break][break]

"well? what did reiki pick up from the one against the feeling?" she asks, tilting her head. she's half the mind to bring out hana, if only to soothe the panda with an aromatherapy. that is, only if it's feeling upset, or angry - though she doesn't know if that would calm down the.. active one over there.

she holds his hand harder, and she's pulling herself closer. loathe is she to even think about pulling away when he's already being so affectionate through the smallest gestures. she's the first one to take a couple of steps towards the attraction, the smile on her lips all the asme before she hums in response. "cliche? perhaps~" she walks, leaning over to rest her head against his arm when they arrive.[break][break]

they're let up onto the ferris wheel and she sits herself down, clinging to his arm and making sure she sits next to him (she could sit across, but that would mean less physical contact and less affection). A hum escapes her lips as she buries the lower half of her face against his arm, and the door closes for the ride to shift to the next compartment. [break][break]

"i just wanted an excuse for us to enjoy a view alone~"

a chuckle escapes her lips as she holds the microphone up, turning it on and having her voice resonate throughout the room - thank you speakers. "something tells me you'll either go for your heart's content, of you'll start hesitant." though she knows how wonderful his voice is, and she'll be damned if she'll say she doesn't miss his singing. [break][break]

the lyrics turn up on the screen shortly after the countdown, and she follows suit around the second verse. though not without keeping her gaze on him, keeping her soft voice in an otherwise upbeat song it doesn't suit her voice all too much, but it still suits his... or rather, his voice is good at adapting to music. [break][break]

and at some point, she'll find herself enjoying herself as she sings along with him, as well as listening to his singing.

ah, that was easy enough. [break][break]

the woman swims over, only to see the swarm of luvdisc sitting where they are, and she hums, softly, in thought. though they could use their pokeballs to get as many ludisc as they could, there would only be so much they could bring back to the surface. rather, there were only so much they could help in one trip. ayame crosses her arms within the water, the dewpider scuttling along the rocks they've found. then she smiles, and snaps her fingers with a smile under the mask. [break][break]

"this might work~" she chimes, hoping that the pokemon don't get hurt in the process. it would be a shame if they were, really. to the bug pokemon, knowing it can't hear her though, she tilts her head to the bug who seems to let out a confused hiss, only for ayame to gesture pulling the pokemon out - or by starting with guiding a luvdisc up. [break][break]

then the water spider lights up, nodding, and releasing a fair amount of waterproofed bugs (all of which seemed to mimic the user's little bubble helmet) under the water, seeping to the luvdisc to hold and guide them towards the two trainers - and runnings it course in entrapping them. [break][break]

"it shouldn't hurt them," she starts, watching as the fish are carefully carried and guided through the water "but it should be much easier, right?"

the aquatic spider begins to click in excitement in return, and it brings a smile to ayame's face. the poor little thing was usually so shy, so maybe it's good that she has someone she can spend time with. a friend. [break][break]

ayame adjusts her mask and goggles, with mizuko in tow who follows the piplup under the surface. the woman smiles to the bug, who's already antsy about being left behind, and she dives under the water. it's dark, but that's why she has her bug pokemon to navigate as they reach below the light.[break][break]

numerous pokemon swim by, but she's careful and minding to keep an eye on her little water spider, and asahiko, who is being led by his piplup. she's careful with her breathing as well, though that's only from the uncertainty of never diving before. what she does see, however, is a luvdisc scale that's fallen and lounged itself between a rock, and a small formation of coral. there she picks it up, and speaks into her mask. "i've found a luvdisc scale by the coral reef~"

ah yes, another victory for ayame. more affection from her seemingly cold partner. [break][break]

as she maintains her gaze to the screen, she hums softly at the song choice. it's certainly.. not something you'd expect to hear someone like him singing, but she's found that side of him.. cute. very endearing, and it'd been about a year since she's been able to see it. "then that makes the two of us~" the woman smiles more, reaching across and to the table holding the microphones. she takes one, then passes the other to asahiko, there. [break][break]

"no one is listening but the two of us, so we can enjoy ourselves to our hearts' content, no?"

he's sweet; so very sweet. she could go diabetic with him around. [break][break]

it's so hard to believe that he used to be so moody, and so withdrawn. seeing him melt the icy wall around her is enough to warm her own cold heart. her heart flutters for a countless time when he brings her fingers to his lips, and her lips curl up into a broader smile, cheeks tinged red with slight heat. [break][break]

"mmn.. i've missed this just as much~" if not more. she's tempted to say more, but she knows how that will end. instead, she turns her attention over to some of the rides, and hums, softly. ".. have you gotten an idea of what you'd like to ride?" she asks, tilting her head. "the sun should be going down soon, and i was thinking.. maybe a sunset view on the ferris wheel would be nice~"

when they arrive, however, she nearly sputters hearing the sudden music play from his phone, needing to quickly hold her hand over her mouth as to muffle sudden laughter. then she turns her gaze, curiously glancing at the man who so casually plays the music from the small device. the two pangoro perks up as well, however only stare, curiously. [break][break]

ayame raises her hand to gently pat the man's shoulder, laughing, slightly. "couldn't we have reiki check their auras and see their moods?~"

she's caught quickly, thankfully. [break][break]

she glances over her shoulder, a small smile to her lips in response to the man's concern. "i will~" she won't, but she doesn't want to worry him. just for him, she'll keep a better eye out for the path. as they walk, she keeps a hold on his hand, fingers twined around his. honestly, she doesn't wanna let go when he holds her so securely. she hopes that he won't let go. [break][break]

after a soft bit of humming on their way, the path started to become wider, and clearer, for them both to see. thankfully, there were no more mishaps along the way. "i can see the clearing~" she chimes, picking up the pace for the both of them to arrive. the wind hits her face, and the breeze blows a few locks of her hair to the side. how refreshing. "mm.. it's nice up here~"

ah, a slip of the tongue. no matter. [break][break]

ayame reaches over the counter, careful not to knock anything off, until she's gotten a grasp on the packet of fish he bought. she takes a moment to take a look at it -- "ah." she blinks a few times, seeing the pokemon in the package. the poor wishiwashi. on the bright side, they do taste delicious when prepared right. [break][break]

"hm.." she hums, then smiling more as she turns, slightly, to glance over her shoulder "did you pick up the red bean paste? i was thinking we could have youkan as a dessert, after making some ramen~"

"naturally~" he should have known better, considering he know how she loved to cook. though for the time being, she'd let him sort through the ingredients as she walks into the kitchen, taking a glance over at the rice cooker to check for the orange light - and there it was. [break][break]

"ah, it should be done~" the woman chimes, moving to open up the lid on the machine. she's suddenly hit with steam, and she quickly recoils from the pot while taking the textured paddle into her hand. "i'll leave it to be warmed while we cook something up." and she dips the paddle into the rice, beginning to flip and scoop it around to it isn't sitting flat. [break][break]

with that finished, she returns to the table, moving to another side of it to begin opening up the bags. "i hope i didn't keep you waiting for too long, when you went to get the ingredients?~"
