Kaida's perch shuddered as Team Rocket, Groudon, and the menagerie of attacks rocked her world, falling from the tree. Just as suddenly, the world stopped, a cold feeling running through her body before blood started pumping in her veins once more and she fell.

Munin stumbled away from the Bulldoze, holding herself up on one of the Percipice Blades as she spat out teeth jostled loose from the impact. They'd grow back, they always did. More importantly, the enemy was coming. Alexandra Briarwood and the ghostly horse charged for them, and with Kaida on the ground, the croc would not leave her. Her muscles rippled with a Bulk Up as she prepared for impact once more.

Annalise explained in a way Kaida could understand, and she briefly looked back in sympathy. He felt he lost control over his life, and now a few strangers were rooting around in his home...she'd have to make sure it was her and Annalise who continued assisting. It couldn't be good to repeat this shaming process with more shame.

As the two double bagged the trash, she beckoned her Comfey over, whispering a quick order "Please, make some healing." When the two left, a pleasant scent of flowers was left behind from Floral Healing.

She hoped it would cause some peace.

Ignoring every other contestant, Kaida still bristled as Elinor Anderson's Steelix passed Kjoll. She didn't expect to stay ahead of the pack initially, not truly. If they were to succeed in outlasting the rest of them, however, they had to stay ahead of the more sturdy beast.

"Let's be a little reckless!"

She yelled above the din of the crowd, their faces starting to blur as Kjoll consented to her order and pushed his speed. The dirt churned into a cloud behind him as he zoomed for the slide, conjuring up an Ancientpower for a makeshift barrier, hoping to keep himself from falling off course as he slid down.

She had to guard the Primal Point, otherwise everyone would die. That was the task Kaida set upon herself, eyes wide in focus even as her coms crackled in her ears. Vividly, she felt the leaves in the trees brush against her cheeks, and trembled in irritation at the contact, even among the raging battle. With Julia Davis and John Sullivan here too, it wasn't like she was alone, but she couldn't join the League battle. Not yet, before she could make sure everyone lived.

Alexei Ivanov and Guillermo Marceliño were here to, and some civilians who got trapped. Didn't matter. The town belched black smoke and horrible screams that echoed in her head, which she desperately tried to empty. Didn't matter. This was too important.

As a black horse Pokemon erupted from the forests, she was glad she stayed hidden in her perch among the trees. Rocket attack. That meant her Pokemon could do what they did best. Hunt.

"Munin. Drag it down."

Her quite hiss received a rumble from the Pokeball, and Kaida's teeth showed in a vicious smile. Munin didn't get a chance to take down large prey like this often. She was happy for the Krookodile.

The flung Pokeball cracked against the ground, and in an instant, the gator emerged from seemingly nowhere, jaws already flashing. She made no move to avoid the Bulldoze, her fury rising to an Anger Point as she lunged for the horse with a Crunch.

TLDR: Kaida is hiding at her location, thinking about the situation and the people present, but is defending the Primal Point. She sends out Munin the Krookodile to Crunch Alexandra Briarwood's Spectier, and makes no attempt to avoid the attack, as the Krookodile relies on her Anger Point to boost herself.

"But of course it's dirty. He's the one who was injured in the Darkest Day." To be ashamed of something so understandable, she couldn't imagine what had caused him to feel this way...nor did she note her own hypocrisy.

Annalise's cheerful spirits boosted Indunn, the Comfey zipping around faster than Kaida could manage until she focused on things only she could do, grabbing a rag and scrubbing the surfaces, and making a note in her head to take out the trash. The strewn around trash was fresh, and one might think the wrappers on the couch, under the table, or the stain on the softly colored walls were the source of the stench. The long suffering trash bag though, subtly pushed into an unsuspecting corner, that was where the smell originated, the Ranger must have started dropping trash after it filled up.

The shame never left his face, and Kaida felt a twinge of displacement, that she was witnessing something not for her. "I'll come back tomorrow too, we...we won't stay for long."

Hopping atop Kjoll's back, Kaida sucked in a quick breath. As always, this was just another task for them to overcome. This one had a few more rules to it though. "Watch out for the little ones Kjoll, better if they are behind us."

He didn't reply, of course, but tensed as the race countdown started.

Go.

No order was needed, Kjoll knew what to do, a terrible rumble shook the air around him as he burst forward. Instantly, the hills were upon them. Kaida clung to the rocky beast as he suddenly started to snake back and forth. Up and over, side to side. His body pressed against the hills he passed, pushing the two onwards. It was during this moment he had the chance to pass the other, faster racers.

As the turns came their way, they were forced to slow slightly, leaning harshly to the sides as they screamed through the turns. If luck was on their side, their initial rush would keep them ahead.

TLDR: Kaida and Kjoll snake through the hills, attempting to overtake anybody unbalanced, then slow down to get through the turns, relying on Kjoll's weight and reactions to pass through the obstacle.

Kjoll was so happy, and Kaida couldn't be prouder.

There wasn't many opportunities for the giant rock-type to fully utilize his powers. He was too big to run amok in forests, too protective to abandon Kaida during battles, and too important to let go loose for a long period of time. A place designed to let him run wild and win was too perfect. As the Onix let out a rumble as his place was announced, Kaida remembered the giant was only about as old as her.

Elinor Anderson and her Steelix were waved back to, Kaida's lips pulling up in a slight smile. An ally, possible friend, very important person. One big, good Pokemon. She wondered briefly if Kjoll would be overwhelmed by his larger evolution, patting him reassuringly.

Josh Devlin was also an ally, and she clapped for him, her brain noting she would face no threat from being near the electric type. Wayward sparks and speed would not throw off Kjoll's determined march onwards.

It was Alexei Ivanov that Kjoll unleashed a huge bellow for, Kaida's teeth showing in a savage smile and she laughed, "That's enough, Kjoll, we don't want to scare the people." A friend of her and her Pokemon, with his very good Pokemon. For him to hear, she spoke, "Don't worry much, Kjoll and I will win. It'll be good for the Rangers."

Confidence was always her angel and devil. This time, she wasn't going to let it fail her.

She had to admit, Memo's next moves were a good play. To both avoid danger to you and your mount, and set out the most efficient Pokemon for the job. She supposed he was a Ranger for a reason.

Too bad it made Svart all disappointed, the Yamega slumping in midair and loosing a puff of air. "Don't worry, you can hunt next time I bring you with me." Capture with a Yamega might have become...bloody, for lack of a better term.

She landed next to Memo, releasing Ormr. Briefly, the serpent fixed Memo with a gaze, uncertain if Kaida meant to fight him again, before she whistled. "No, wrap these two up." An Ekans' coils wouldn't let prisionors free anytime soon.

She attempted to stay silent as she contacted authorities, but alas, Memo was her partner for today. She had no choice.

"Good job."

Guillermo Marceliño

Something was wrong. Topics of conversations didn't usually render people this sickened, correct? Did she really bring up something that distressing? The swirling smoke couldn't be helping either.

Patting her Sandaconda, she gave a quick series of instructions. "Bring in new soil where you can, and bring any debris into a pile so I can throw it away." A reliable Pokemon, she knew he would get the job done...she had to help her partner a little.

Kaida abandoned the scene, trotting after her partner, hand already drifting to a healing Pokemon's Pokeball.
