Hello! I'm sorry, I see you have lots of threads already, I just want to throw out some ideas before I forget!

Kaida is also a fellow wanderer, though I suppose with a bit more purpose thanks to her job. It would be unlikely, but funny if she ever came across this girl and, more importantly, this Chimera with her. Unlike others, Kaida doesn't have much knowledge of everything that have recently gone on except that Team Rocket is involved and monsters are coming out of the woodworks. A Type-Null, especially it's past would very much interest her, but not for the League's sake, for her. If needed, she might even be willing to help out if Annie needs help, especially if the Type-Null needs a home or food.

Yeah. Needless to say, she wants to help Pokemon...Annie is just kinda a strange oddity that happens to be nearby to her.

: Kaida names her Pokemon short names, with a Norse mythology influence in a lot of them. She simply thinks powerful names are helpful, and the names are easy to call in a crisis...plus they sound cool, if given the chance, she spends lots of time thinking up a name.

"You want to have new family?...Today?" Kaida glanced down into eyes that stared straight into her soul, feeling none of the terror most Pokemon would feel just looking at the large Ekans. In fact, she looked almost exasperated, as if the snake was a begging child. A day of rest and this little "brother" of hers was far too interested in new Pokemon.

She shifted her weight on the rubble she sat upon, cushioning her face into her hands. "Don't look at me sad...find one you like...not prey. Not today." As the words left her lips, the Ekans disappeared under a spot of debris, hissing to scare out the usual pests in search of a monster to recruit onto the family.

She didn't even pay attention to see if anyone was nearby.

[attr="class","ipad"] Currently nobody special, this woman is an average Ranger who possess serpentine Pokemon and completes her task with quiet efficiency, except in situations involving Pokemon. [break] [break][break]

PUBLIC [break][break]
  • A low-ranking Ranger that really, really doesn't talk much.
  • "That weirdo with the snakes on her shoulders".
  • Almost never in the same place twice.
  • Doesn't look people in the eyes for some reason.
WHAT THE LEAGUE KNOWS[break][break]
  • A new Ranger that showed up out of nowhere with all her serpent Pokemon, and is borderline inseparable from them. Has no traceable family.
  • Her Pokemon possess odd skill in combat, and are brutal when a situation goes south.
  • Talks to her Pokemon in code, if she tells them to "Bite hard", run.
  • Completes her tasks, but with apathy unless it involves Pokemon in danger.
  • Can talk in sign language, a skill she came with.
  • Have been seen playing with her "family" on all fours, and bares teeth when angry. Just an oddity.

WHAT ROCKET KNOWS[break][break]
  • Ranger, but ignored as she haven't done anything notable.


PRIVATE[break][break]
  • Lived in Hoenn her entire life, with parents that could talk only with difficulty. Raised in an environment with only Pokemon and rarely talking humans, she doesn't very much see reason to talk herself. Her home was a quiet ranch that raised Pokemon to be bought for trainer purposes...but she doesn't remember much of this, only later events.
  • A conflict with a previous Team Rocket destroyed the ranch into nothingness, leaving only Kaida and an odd babble of Pokemon that could hide effectively (in the ground or small places) alive. The team lived in the wilds for some time until Kaida got curious and wandered into town.
  • Her last name is not her real last name, given to her by a foster family she spent some time in. She remembered her first name, but that was it.
  • Sees herself as a leader of Pokemon and the like-minded.
  • Possesses scars on her back and arms from rough living and Pokemon attacks.




UPDATED PUBLIC![break][break]
  • A Ranger that have become known for completing her missions with efficiency and a near emotionless drive.
  • Her gaggle of serpent Pokemon now includes any serpentine, pack-based, and reptilian Pokemon.
  • Died and resurrected after the tree in Littleroot fell.




UPDATED LEAGUE![break][break]
  • Have completed enough missions to be considered a Senior Ranger.
  • Participated in the rediscovery of Regirock, her Onix Kjoll managing to survive the encounter. She is curious, and waits to see if she can be allowed to participate again, as with her liking of Pokemon, she wants to know a legendary Pokemon.
  • Was not supposed to be in Littleroot, disregarded authority. Same as the public, she had died during the incident and came to life a day later.
  • Can now be considered an Elite Ranger.




UPDATED ROCKET![break][break]
  • Have met a few Rockets, but still doesn't know and has nothing special to her, threat or not currently.
  • Could be seen during the Littleroot incident. Was killed by but is alive and well now.




UPDATED PRIVATE[break][break]
  • Accidently found herself participating in the online game, even getting caught up in the fairy kingdom raid.
  • Considers the likes of , , , and allies of hers. It is not an understatement that her loyalty could manifest as very helpful or harmful actions if she feels she's protecting them. [break]

    [li]Does not believe she did anything wrong during the Littleroot incident, and have taken up traveling to try and avoid backlash. Is curious about her own resurrection, and willing to do quite a bit to figure out what happened to her.

On an island. There was a person supposedly stranded on a tiny island with a dragon-type. Whether the dragon was injured or not, that was uncertain, and Kaida was dispatched to make an attempt to involve herself in the situation. A wellness check, if you will.

Dropped off by a reliable Pokemon with Surf, strong enough to carry two people if needed, Kaida found herself on the tiny island, feeling more than a little trapped. Get in, get out, thus place was terrible.

"Um, are you fine?" They should really send a more social Ranger for this, "Is it injured...the Pokemon? This place isn't valuable." Her flat voice carried over well enough, and she held herself with a dull curiosity.

In all honesty, Kaida thought, the Corsola of this city were so important, she had to wonder how one didn't see this disaster coming. Predators had to eat, and they would take any and all opportunities to seize their prey. It was only natural.

Nonetheless, it was still her job to make sure the Corsola wouldn't get eaten, they had to stay plentiful and a mass eating could drop their population horribly...and sink the city of people, of course. She remembered that small goal.

Her Pokeballs exploded open to release her Pokemon, all but Kjoll. An Onix was useless for today, so it would have to be everyone else. On the dock, she grimaced slightly. None of her own had the means to inflict effective damage immediately, but she would simply need to keep an eye on them, they were effective fighters.

All that was left was a partner, and a partner she desperately didn't want to be near. She might throw her into the water with the Marinenie if she had to be with such a person...but she didn't have a choice. So she waited with her Pokemon crowded around herself, ready to start the mission early if need be.

A sudden voice broke through the little grass snake's focus, and she suddenly tripped hard, tumbling for a second before straightening herself out. Dirt dusted her scales, but she looked far less peeved than one would expect, she was a grass-type. Dirt and sun was kind of her thing.

"Huh? Oh! Oh yes. Snack time." She turned her nose towards the berries, and briefly wanted to devour them...and then turned herself away. "I'm going to eat after training. It's very important." Her tail swished in self-contained pride, until she looked upon the berries again. She couldn't eat all that, and it was a waste to leave them in the sun...

"...you can have some...they're not all mine, my Ranger can always feed me later." Somehow, she felt a little better offering it to someone else. Like helping another, but that was too big-headed, she didn't even know this Pokemon.

"Try to get bigger here." That was what Kaida told Freki when she dropped her off here, where strangers both Pokemon and human watched over her. With those words in her head, she had to at least try, didn't she?

It was not a secret that Freki was the smallest of the make-shift "family", one of the weakest too. A move from one so small, even if the move was powerful, still didn't pack as much of a punch. So, here she was, to not stress out and hopefully eat enough for the energy to grow.

Still, with berries galore, Freki was doing anything but relaxing. The daycare woman watched with a patient smile as Freki darted about the area, eyes flashing and sides heaving as she darted around, kicking up dust with every turn she took.

Honestly, she couldn't wait for this to be over, to get back to her family. It was already so boring here.

Kaida Adachi/Ranger

Kaida Adachi is a simple mind. She never thinks too long into the future except for small things like living long. Her face doesn't show much emotion and, when she does show emotion, it tends to be in a manner more Pokemon than human. She isn't against interaction, but have found her short words and stubbornness drives away lots of people. Love, love, loves Pokemon and prioritizes them over everything.

Friends/Positive

Kaida doesn't very much resemble the type of person who wants friends, and while she doesn't try and meet people willingly, she is anything but anti-social. Kaida simply has the assumption that not too many people want to meet her either, and doesn't make an effort on her end without good reason. However, fellows with similar goals to her will find her a reliable and quiet individual, who talks shortly because she finds it difficult, not out of real malice.

She could be considered hound-like, bonding quickly with others once she have been persuaded to interact with people, and becoming amazingly loyal quickly. She will help her friends with the vigor she defends her family with, with one exception. She will never believe in innocence without proof, but if it doesn't involve the wrongful death of a Pokemon, she will still gladly defend said friend. She doesn't truly hold morals in that high regard.

She can be a little overbearing to her friends, carrying herself as if she's the leader at all times, but this has the caveat of her taking responsibility for everything.

Also, she loves snake Pokemon, if that wasn't obvious, alongside the more cruel looking beasts like Houndoom. Please show her one~

Wanted: Other fellow rangers, strange civilians to bond with, possible enemy friend?

Enemies

Kaida seems cold and snappy with others, which could easily rub somebody the wrong way. She also tends to be rather strict with others regarding tasks, believing people should only be trusted with a task if they can actually succeed. Her morals are also strange, she can deal with most crimes with just a shrug, even if she has to stop them, but any Pokemon harm with no justification will have her treating it like the worst crime in the world. Kaida also heavily dislikes people that overly pamper their Pokemon, as in these dangerous times, she thinks they should at least have the means to defend themselves.

In general, she hates Team Rocket with a passion, alongside anyone who disrupts Pokemon for their own ambition. It would not be a hyperbole to state she would kill such an enemy, seeing it as a defense of her home.

Wanted: Rivals or just plain out "I'm going to kill you" enemies.

Love?

A little difficult, Kaida would have to truly trust somebody for this to even be a possibility.
