It made sense but Billi, even if it wasn’t explained well, but it certainly wasn’t an image that was far from grasping. Though...saving himself well, that may have been an issue he’d struggle with because in the lilycove raid other’s saved him and he couldn’t save anyone. “I mean...it makes sense,” Billi paused and rubbed the poipole, as he looked over his shoulder. “I don’t have really any more questions….then you probably do about the poipol,”

Billi took a breath as the cave was exposed and they entered like mice to cheese. The downside was the fact that the wet clothes now instantly froze even with Volcarona’s heatwave blasting them like a furnace. “It’s so cold in here! I think we might have found...the lair of whatever is doing this,” he let the volcarona heat them so they didn’t freeze to death.

The man turned his head as they walked, and shrugged, “well they're not that fun to me to be honest! It’s a lot of single food festivals. Like uuhh...one place has a blueberry festival. But we do have a hot spring thing north of my home, lots to do there,” he nodded and remembered going there a couple times, “I’d like to find some nearby my home,” he nodded and thought again, as the gyrados wiggled and thrashed violently.[break][break]

Billi had no intention of making a situation worse, and it had taken years, and medication to get rid of this depression he always felt, and getting rid of this immortal feeling of being always alone. That no human could ever make him feel happy again, but...he had gotten through it! He had amazing friends, a great drag mom, a guy he liked, heck it was all working out for him. And he was happy! Billi shook his head and patted the older man on the shoulder.[break][break]

“Mom….was supposedly sick for a long time,” Billi quietly said and grinned at him, “She probably couldn’t write anymore…..to be honest she kept being sick from us till the end” he frowned but rolled his shoulders, “She would have responded. I’m sure, she left me…..videos in Razzberry….so she might have some there, but she was also a gym leader,” he paused.

It was clear that the rotom was bothering the man! Billi huffed because he already scolded the easily excited pokemon. Even though it stared up at Skid with a large cheeky smile. “ROO?” it asked before turning to Billi who tapped a button on his phone, and sucked the pokemon back inside of it, and frowned a bit at the man when he was asked the question.[break][break]

His heart sank but he swallowed, shocked that the man who apparently knew his mother didn’t know she had passed a little over four years ago. Swallowing hard, he displayed a well of sorrow, “She’s been dead...for four years...almost five,” he nodded, “I’m guessing she didn’t know you,”

In a way Billi didn’t want this job to prove anything to anyone else, and he didn't view himself as a trainer so he was shocked to find out he was even selected. Though...he thought of taking it to somehow lend some title of strength to his natural….well squishy confidence in the fray. Perhaps the title would harden him up some, make everything easier, make people around him, as a city less……...toxic. Provided he could change a couple lives and make other’s smile it’d be worth it. “ I know..” he looked away for a second. [break][break]

“I'm more worried...about leaving my home here because I love it so much. And to be honest I only ever visited petalburg for short periods, so my knowledge is limited. But they seem like nice people!”

We’re gonna do some heavy lifting to make this easy, so use psychic so we can care for it through town,” the pokemon chirped and carried the dragon. “This is my first festival here! Galar it’s a lot more of large family holiday’s and few festivals, and the ones we got revolve around food.”

Billi was glad the man found it funny, at least his comment didn’t come off rude like it could have been in the past. Truthfully though, he just wanted a good laugh and maybe a friend to hang out with that wasn’t terrible. Luckily this guy seemed friendly, “hahahah yeah to the volcano!” he pointed out the volcano as he slowly moved forward with the man.[break][break]

As the flash of red light appears and pokemon take shape, Billi’s eyes open, “ooh wow their big!” the complemented the pokemon as his natural comforting energy radiated off him like the summer sands. ‘their amazing! Uuh ooh!” Billi quickly released two pokeballs, though he had more, “I have these two and a bunch more buggies!” the blonde smiled as his two leavany were freed from their pokeballs.[break][break]

“Meet Sewyer and Tailor, their kinda like my most proper pokemon, but they work hard, keep me out of trouble ya know,”

Razzberry turned around, spinning itself after cancelling the image once the man knew who he was. “PZZRT” it clapped it’s electrical plasma, happy to see the man! “pppzzzz?” it zipped and zooped around the man looking for his pokemon, before shaping into a question mark, then shifting into one of the lost pokemon, clearly trying to ask where they were, without knowing of what happened to him.[break][break]

Billi noticed the black haired man and shook his head, “you sure, i really didn’t mean to disturb you guys,” he paused again noticing it had shifted into his mom, and frowned, “Razzberry please don’t turn into mum anymore,” he scolded the pokemon, before noticing the man knew his mom, “Razzberry was my mums,” he nodded as the remote kept shifting between the three shapes, two pokemon and his mother. “sorry? Did you know my mum?”

Well it was fun fighting a tailwind, and he honestly couldn’t truely fight such a strong wind. “Welp!” Billi looked around and then turned to face Oslo, smirking and ran DIRECTLY at the human, jumping towards him, almost if he wanted to land on the man. “get ready to catch me buddy!” if he wanted to catch Billi that bad it’d be fun to see how he lifts the yellow hulk.
