Billi listened to the camera man and felt even more awkward because he didn’t really intend to make it clear. Maybe he wasn’t specific enough that it gave him away, but regardless, he glossed over it by fiddling with the little purple pokemon, and fed him another biscuit. Ravati looked through the window, and flapped his wings, giving a screech that was loud enough to be heard inside, and gently pecked the glass, to get attention back on him. The beady eyes glaring down the interviewer and his cameraman, as if it was a warning, but at the same time curious about what was happening inside.

The blondes smiled turned upwards hearing that the man enjoyed the bird pokemon, “He’s kinda the Galar staple! Back home they are used for taxi’s so most of us are pretty accustomed to heights.” he paused and leaned forward on the table, “I can take you on a ride after this! I promise you won't fall! I mean I’ve fallen off before but Ravati always catches me. Never fails to save me from danger ya know!” he waved to the bird whom cheerfully flapped his wings.

“Oh Majora? Well I kinda...got him from a friend…..He’s a cop too I guess and was given one to give away or something like that! To be honest I was having a bad day because it was only like a week after the war ended, so I had other things on my mind! And he was missing his mama, I think… I can’t tell if he’s a boy or whatever but he just gives me boi energy! And most of my pokemon happen to be bois somehow.” he mused to himself, thinking outloud, “What about you! I haven’t seen your pokemon around!” Billi shouldn’t be asking question, but he was curious! “What do you have?”

Maybe it wasn’t a matter of opinion, and Razz did bring up some amazing points, but Billi found himself…..questioning people's morals. How they hold grudges on a pokemon that was just what it was told. Heck Galar had wars and people got over that. Some say time heals all wounds but Billi’s were still raw and he didn’t exactly enjoy a tentacle monster ultra beast, but he would indeed approach them with due caution if he was unsure if it was tamed or not. Billi somewhat rolled his eyes, “I understand that but people hold a grudge against pokemon because the one ruin it for the whole. People fear spider pokemon and that doesn’t make sense.” he shrugged.

The giant moved along looking back over his shoulder as poipole threw a berry at the elekid, all while laughing at him. “Majora! That’s enough,” Billi scolded flicking it’s hands, “No snacks on the way home for you tonight,” the poipole cried out, very much like a young toddler. “I’m assuming you’re looking for something too then?” Billi asked because he knew Razz was a ranger and had ranger things to do.

Meanwhile the wombo combo began to climb a tree, because you know, spider. The legs stomped up the trunk until it found a red carpet, this was not it’s castle. BEGONE THOT. The small bug was yetted and landed in front of Billi resulting in the pokeball poking it’s head.

Billi thought to himself for a moment, as his hands held the Poipole, squeezing gently to hide his own discomfort with bringing up family matters. Not that he hated it rather, he never digested any of it. His mother was a raw wound and his sister was the tumour that pulsed inside of him. Billi understood the man was doing his job, but Billi always avoided putting his feelings on display because he didn’t want anyone to cry for him, because he had to be strong himself. Lately however...he needed people to lift him up, but...alas the war had been hard on everyone.

“Yeah, don’t know him. Pretty sure mum didn’t like him at all for some reason,” it was an honest opinion but he couldn’t place a finger on why she disliked him so much, but he didn’t question it because his mom was great, so he never complained. After all, being a man has nothing to do with gender, just a level of maturity. At the same time he saw the man as humbling him to the viewers, granted he was very friendly! Billi would be doing the same thing!

“Oh my first pokemon?” he smiled brightly, “I kinda got two weird sections,” he poked his phone and Rotom zapped out, “PZZTT” it stared at the camera waving, “Razzberry was the first pokemon I got. My mom left me it in her will. He was my uncles and then my moms, and now mine!” he exclaimed, “As for the first pokemon i caught,” he pointed out the cafe window, where his Corviknight sat staring into after Billi. “I caught him as a Rookidee before I moved here! Of course there’s also Yamper and Mawile. “ he paused thinking about all his pokemon.

“I have a lot of spider pokemon, snakeys, bats….ooh like a ton of bugs! Their just so friendly. Oh and Poipole,” he held him closely as Majora tried to wiggle free.

Mainly like one person he didn’t really know but they seemed sweet enough, so entering these drilled caverns made him feel comfortable enough. “okay okay okay that was big,” Billi thought to himself as the explosion echoed in the tight walls, “We don’t wanna die down here!” he called out moving his Galvantula out of it’s pokeball, “Maybe we just buzz around some, cuz sound is strong ya know,” but that was also stupid but hey.

Honestly Billi was just shocked to be involved in this kind of setting! Normally Billi was the one conducting some trendy casual interview but he was never the one on the camera, rather he was the one working the camera. Just...it was a new sensation, and he felt somewhat….flattered? Yeah! Flattered! Though he couldn’t come to find the reason behind why anyone would want to get to know his pretty mundane life. It wasn’t like he was out there punching villains in the teeth, or being an activist for anything, rather, he was just genuinely himself at all times.

Billi was dressed in his finest, homemade custom couture, pants and oranberry shirt, that was cleverly tucked in and matched his eyes, and the main color a dull yellow to match the vibrant blonde hair that was styled to unparalleled perfection. He figured this was a moment to dress fancy and just take it with a grain of salt, considering it was a cafe. Set up with some cameras and the like. Billi turned to the man as he slipped the pokeball into his backpack, “Oh I’m making my own clothes!” he clapped his hands together, “Trying to, you know, be more environmentally friendly since after the war. And buying fabrics that like my muscles, is kinda hard,” he shrugged, “So I’ve been reading blogs on the stuff and learning about it! And since I got a lot of bugs I can do a lot with it! But I don't have all the buggies soooo I gotta hunt for some of my materials.” yeah, his bugs only produced so much, and he liked to use those as other products as well.

He needed certain bug pokemon to achieve what he needed. Example being he had heard that a frosmoth had scales that would be perfect in the summer time for a shirt that would keep you cool. That was what Billi was going for, and with the Leavany at home wanting to keep themselves occupied, they just wanted to help Billi make clothes. They were a great help considering Billi could barely hold scissors in his right hand due to his injuries.

Majora seemed more annoyed as the Elekid scoffed him off in an arrogant, mighty than thou, tone. Truely….a dick. So it thought. So it floated down lower looking at him pointing at the bully, expecting Billi to do something, “Hahaha buddy no.” he nudged the poipole away. As the spider and cat pounced and rode around like children playing knights and horses, it accidently trampled over the ladybug pokemon, knocking it out effectively, to which Billi through the pokeball as his eyebrows furrowed as he walked towards more trees when Razz spoke about the poipole.

Honestly Billi was against this view that people had of the poipole, ultra beasts, save his own fear of the tentacle beast, it was a sad realization Billi had come to. It was so far fetched that Billi was offended by the notion. Blue eyes stared up the tree, “Well I don’t agree with that,” he paused, “That’s like saying when two countries are at war, that the losing country’s solider’s are monsters,” he stated as he caught some more of the strings, “and that’s not the case. Think of it like…...you are fighting for a cause, and in the case of pokemon they just wanna make their partners happy, and while foriegn to our world they may not be foreign to them,” he stated.

“So really what I believe the antidotes did was make them understand how we communicate more,” he nodded, “Besides there are plenty of terrible people out there doing far worse things. Though hell I’ve seen the worst of it,” the blonde stopped and turned, “And I still hope for the best in people.”

Billi quickly shifted to open his refrigerator, grabbing the filtered water and pouring Oscar a nice cool glass of water. Which was great because that’s all Billi had anyways. Well that and protein powder to throw in his smoothies that he didn’t have milk or cream to make it worth it. "Yeah I remodeled everything when I got my reporting job! Took a while but everything was actually really cheap hahaha! And the electric type pokemon help power everything in here so I get lucky!" Blue eyes scanned the albino clad man as he pursed his lips with a question. “Oh all that stuff is in my storage area underneath. Turns out it used to be a car shop, so there's a lower level I’m not using.” words escaped his lips as he stared at Oscar with admiration in his eyes.

The mice all huddled on the countertop beside the man, curious about why their master was so enthralled by him. Yamper on the other hand was very happy to see Oscar, and jumped at his knees for the biggest pets! After all Yamper was Billi style energy. Billi smiled at Oscar, keeping himself under control to the best he could, even if Majora was peeking around the man trying to find something to pull on. “now…..oh I got something for you!” Billi ran off to his bedroom returning with the clefable/gengar hat. “I got it for you! You got all red and liked it, remember,” Billi mused as his own cheeks turned a rosey red.

Maybe he was blind, maybe he was stupid, but it became clear to him when the wurmple fell from the sky, Billi had noticed the wurmple strings! Sure he had a wurmple already and a Beautifly but that was far from the point. Two pokemon can only make so much material! And with Billi learning from online blogs about environmentally friendly, old fashioned pokemon tailored clothes, mixed with a new age technology, Billi was sure he could take what appeared to be a hassle for himself and make it into something positive! So using these strings was REQUIRED!

Needless to say Billi jumped up, trying to grab the nest of strings above, “Oh I’m just here getting materials for my new hobby to keep my mind occupied ya know?” it was to keep him occupied from the killer memories of the war, but he tried to repress or accept it by this point. Besides he had a Poipole that understood the hardships with him! Wasn’t like he was alone, and he still had all his pokemon who loved him.

Din jumped from side to side as the cat wanted to ride him, the big blue eyes turning upward with a cute screech. Majora on the other hand gave the elekid a dirty look as it also took out an innocent pokemon, “Poipole!” the poipole stuck out it’s tongue as if to call the elekid a brute. Though Billi quickly moved to nudge the poipole upward, “hey Majora get them those,” he pointed higher up in the trees, Dinn quickly through the cat on his back, and walked around towards the Elekid, staring at the baby pokemon, because well, he wasn’t afraid of it.

As poipole flew upward, and encounter a burmy he paused, looking at it more, before throwing it down towards the ground, making it land in Billi’s arms, and the poor thing fainted in it’s fear of death, all while Majora giggled like a brat! “Majora stop being a bully! You know what I meant,” he poked the burmy with a new pokeball. “I promise! He’s not that mean! He’s learning! Your Elekid spooked him and now he is petty,”

The familiar bark, perked up the Yamper, catching his attention, tongue out, the dog instinctively ran towards the source with it’s stumpy little legs. Good for Billi, he had the blue eyes of twenty twenty vision. He watched to find the source, where he found the source from a while back. The cop who had the power of a ptsd mightyena. And Kyle, the cop that made him look like a common criminal because of some plusle that he had at home.

Billi’s smile peeled up, because he was happy to the same, he just had other things on his mind. Like you know a fucked up arm, a horrible memory, but that was all to be pushed aside as he tried to bury that from the man. “Naw I’m fine I just got released a little bit ago! Hahaha” the fake laugh again.

Yamper barked at the mightyena wanting to play, “Oh well you know the war and stuff! I protected home so I’m content,” the wrong word to describe how he felt, like a drug fueled bender, “just gotta work on my arm it got kinda crushed but other then that I’m fine” he lied again.
