Target practice.

GUNK SHOT, TOXIC only, were the restrictions in place leaving A!Muk in need of serious timing to get its attacks off.

Luckily this psychic-type didn't seem to be able to teleport, or lacked the tact to use such a move in the moment.

Quickly enough repeated poison hits from the ground made the Xatu sleepy and its wings heavy.

With proper aim and timing of his own, Sénon hit the falling bird with a pokéball just before it could hit the ground.

Chittering and hopping up and down, Chimchar found a new opponent in a Slowpoke of all things, going by.

He'd never encountered a slowpoke in the wild that wasn't already stationary.

Capturing it almost felt like bombing a shiny galarian rapidash. Yet, for the sake of his ambitions and goals.

He needed a slowpoke that he himself captured and encountered in the wild.

NASTY PLOT and INFERNO wouldn't expedite the battle but it would damage the 'poke enough that it probably wouldn't seek to break free from its ball.

Slowpoke's being as passive as they were.

For a second Jūken perked up, also hoping for a fight.

Sénon's body language held the riolu back however. Their target was still not among them.

His wrestling with obsession aside, he put away the doubts he had each time he lit an incense or opened the report to update himself on the words.

He fancied himself the hunter, all of them did.

There was a chance this was all some hoax or ploy and the unown were the wolf or part of the pack. He had to ignore it.

For the sake of answers and discovery he had to ignore the possibility that people of Hoenn trying to solve the unown report, were themselves simply lambs for the slaughter.

As much as he enjoyed the other hybrid kantonian psychic types; slowpokes and psyducks. He was more of a Starmie kind of guy.

When it came to the pure Kanto-original psychic types the abra-line is whom he'd bet the house on.

No more room on the roster for Drowzee. He wasn't starting a farm or anything.

The full moon was a splendid sight to see at the end of a long fortnight.

The days had been long and the nights loud but now the silence was golden.

A tourney along Route One-Hundred and Twenty drew his interest. He lost the archery competition but won the falconry challenge.

When it seemed the dawn would be coming with no more blessings, he was provided but one more; lush and fertile the gods sent him a gift; a Verdant Queen local to the land.

They had their fill of drink, dance and jest and now through a garden they strolled under the twilight; her woodland keep not far from where the tourney was held.

Though having just met, their hands saw difficulty parting.

"You've been quite kind to me this night, your Grace." He smiled upon her, feeling as at peace in her presence as he felt in his homeland.

At the sight of a drowzee raising its arms to do its freaky psychic dream freaking, Sénon raised his arms to make himself look larger and rushed it.

The drowzee ran off, not ready for such aggressive confrontation.

Go figure. "Next." It was probably the riolu backup she was running from. A drowzee was close, the same type as what he hunted.

Yet, only unown could be the lamb this time around.

If aint broke don't fix it. INFERNOS blazed abound as the redhead let the winebacked little simian pursue the Woobat on its own accord.

It took a little while and the strategy was terrible but the shiny prevolve came out victorious once more and Sénon had one less empty premier ball.

Crimsen attempted to capture Woobat!

He turned back to Adrian who had the attention of the man and the man's gut. "When am I not?" Sometimes after just cooking. That was when he was least likely to be hungry.

Even still, the idea of cooking curry outdoors during a hunt with a friend gave him crazy nostalgia. He'd been doing it alone for years now.

It wasn't a 'good idea' to send a poison type after a steel.

A WILL-O-WISP could have come in handy but he'd left that TM in his other pants.

With the moves they had though, he could still eek out a win.

SCREECH and SHADOW SNEAK were the only moves left Muk knew that a Doublade (potentially hacking him to pieces) was immune to.

One lowered the Doublade's Defense and the other hit with physical damage Doublade was weak to; ghost-type.

A!Muk was a on a roll.

A gardevoir engaged Drednaw shortly after the curry break. Despite putting on a good show multiple POISON FANGS from the tyrunt ended things on their side.

It wasn't the most graceful victory and the Gardevoir looked not too different than a leaf pile by the end of it.

Nasty business, he'd see to it that she got the proper treatment as soon as possible. She was pretty tough for a wild one to force such brutality from Te'rewar in order to accept defeat.

Putting the mysterious device back on a clip on his belt for now Sénon made sense of JD's unown. What it intended to convey to them.

Limbo gave what help it could; perhaps Quasar could find another hint.

Perhaps before his lung capacity showed just how human it was.

Putting it to the back of his mind what would happen if they didn't solve this riddle in time; his skin a dead blue rather than its vaguely melinated rosy norm.

The panels he could see more clearly when the red glare from pokémon being swapped gave them better lighting for half a second.

Quasar probed about while Sénon touched the highest/northern most panel.

Soon after, the welcoming relief of air in lungs bought himself and young JD some time. His next breaths sponsored by Melody Miro ; popstar, battlestar, saving-his-life-star?

This was the closest he'd been to that lavish mane of hers.

Now he owed her a steak.

So as not to waste what little oxygen they had he shot her a solemn thumbs up rather than speaking before watching the panel he'd interacted with.

He swapped pokémon, suited up, he even checked out illeana reyes in that suit once or twice but only when old moneybags wasn't looking. kim cole-essam and Stormy Silph would distract him more than enough for that.

Still had to get Kim and his Mrs. to Cait's for wining and dining one of these nights.

He barely had time to imagine it before the walls of the antechamber slid-back pulling everyone through 'dimensions' in a way that felt more mentally processable than that Dialga business from last year.

That his mind contextualized as jarring inexplicable teleportation, this his mind contextualized as realized light-speed travel.

Stepping out into the viscous void, Dahlia rallied everyone around Kazimir Wynter . Sénon turned his back to the void to listen in. He could feel those eyes on him again.

But, it was all in his head, that 'dreamspace' at the Soiree proved it; it was nothing more than a budding psychosis he needed to let go of.

) he felt naked without it (another manifestation of the psychosis). A waterproof case for it might have been redundant but he wasn't reckless enough to find out.

Obsession wouldn't allow him to risk the device.

Calling back Starmie it was Limbo instead who took to his side and inspecting the umbral gash with a meager light from his device, he readied himself for any response at all.

If across the multiverse, there was only one timeline where Sénon Game had the influence to open this entryway, his will would bend reality itself to make that timeline, this timeline.
