SILVER CORP. hosts its anticipated CLEVER COMPETITION. This competition features themes of new thrills, starting adventures, the joy of youth, and the start of a new year in order to thank everyone for the great success of their winter-themes getaways (spas, ski resorts, etc). Silver Corp. wishes to specifically put a light on BABY POKEMON and focus on the development of a young mind, hopefully relieving the stresses of school now that children are off on winter break by showing off some equally youthful pokemon giving their most clever and bright displays of might and glamour!

Post once per round. Once you have posted, that will be your post order for the remainder of the competition (i.e: if I post third, I will be third in the posting order from then on). There is a TWO DAY posting timeline to keep the competition running smoothly. If you do not meet the timeline, you will automatically be out of the running to win the competition. You will not even be counted as having participated if you miss one post, so keep that in mind before signing up!
SIGNING UP
Each member can only sign up with one character, and use only one Pokemon. Movesets will be locked upon signing up.

RULES
[break]  Use the ROLL COMMAND for each of the 2 'appeal phases' in the competition. There will be NO REROLLING/USE OF SALAC BERRIES to keep the competition sweet and short. For that matter, keep POSTS SHORT, BUT MORE THAN 4 SENTENCES. We want brevity, but something to judge. Also please DO NOT REUSE THE SAME MOVE FOR BOTH PERFORMANCE POSTS, this will result in you only being able to use 1 of your rolls towards your total. [break][break] The theme of this competition is QTPIS, MEANING CLEVER, YOUNG POKEMON. 'BABY POKEMON' INCLUDE ANYTHING THAT HAS AT LEAST 2 STAGE EVOLUTIONS TOTAL (I.E: EEVEE, PICHU, ETC) AND MUST BE THE FIRST EVOLUTION OF ITS LINE, NOT THE SECOND to get the benefit of a +10 to your rolls. Aside from baby pokemon, pokemon in the PSYCHIC group have bonuses to their rolls as well. These bonuses do not stack (i.e: if I bring an abra, I don't get a +20 to my rolls, I just get a +10). [break][break] The TRIVIA aspect of this competition is assigned by me, the 'dm' of this thread. In the beginning of the thread, all trivia questions will be posted alongside the pokemon who it is assigned to. The trivia aspect of this competition is designed as a way of your pokemon showing off its move and then follows up by clicking one of three buttons (labeled A-C) that appear on stage to answer a simple pokemon-related question. You may RP how your pokemon answers this question as you wish, no roll needed. It is a fun flavor option, not really meant to have any mechanical means - just leaning into the 'clever' aspect of things.[break][break] Moves MUST have the 'clever' condition to apply to the score (i.e: I can't use the move 'SWIFT' towards my performance roll). You can check what moves count towards the 'clever' condition here: X. The effect of the move is not counted.[break][break] The character who rolls the highest overall score (sum of both appeal phases) will be crowned the winner.
