The crown prince casts a surprised, and equally as hesitant, glance at the other. "Nightmares... someone that I lost some time ago; taunting me." Meanwhile, just nearby, a GOLETT emerges from the sand before attempting to shake itself clean.

The endeavor ends up being a wash, however, when it finds itself at the center of a SAND TOMB. Remiel's Palossand renders the automaton defunct again, after which the prince pauses to pull out a Luxury Ball and cast it.

The black mass of possessed sand returns to its master's side like a flowing wave through the desert. Though it is expressionless, at least in any sense reminiscent of human expression, the royal can tell it is eager for a treat. So, reaching into his pack, he pulls out some poffins to satiate it.

"You know, at the time, that hadn't come to mind." Remiel chuckles in reply, tossing his poffins into the desert and watching as his Palossand devours them in one sweep. "I was with someone anyway. So most of my focus was on finding them and ensuring they were okay."

Remiel was wary to speak the name illeana reyes into existence. Particularly because they weren't exactly on the best of terms right now and he didn't mean to give the impression otherwise. He was almost certain Matias knew and worked with her, too.

"Just a former dalliance of mine," He ultimately responds, witnessing a CHESNAUGHT emerge from the sand it had buried itself in to NEEDLE ARM his Palossand in the middle of its snacking. The attack connects, but the Palossand is quick to overwhelm the tank with an INFESTATION afterward. As it struggles against this onslaught, Remiel pulls out a Luxury Ball and casts it.

"You seem to be much more of a celebrity these days than I, you know," The royal smiles, turning to his companion. "Are you seeing anyone these days?"

Remiel stops to investigate a curious ruin they come across in the desert. Pulling out his archaeology tools, he begins to excavate with great speed and precision. "Hmm... a few women you might get along with come to mind," He responds, nearly chuckling when Elisabeth Fiorelli pops up as an option. "But truth be told, I haven't had much fortune lately either."

Suddenly, a CARBINK emerges from the excavation site he's split open and shakes off the thick layer of sand covering it. It seeks to TACKLE the archaeologist afterward, but is thwarted when his Palossand weighs it down with a GIGA DRAIN. Afterward, Remiel places away his tools, produces a Luxury Ball from his pack, and captures it with a sharp tap.

Further excavation eventually unearths a RUNERIGUS from the desert ruins Remiel has encountered. Unfazed by its attempts at intimidation, he carries on his conversation with MATIAS SILPH just fine as his Palossand rushes to defend him. The MEAN LOOK the opposing Ghost-type casts does nothing to stop the SHADOW BALL that eventually blasts into an unconscious heap.

"I suppose not," Remiel responds with a chuckle, pulling out an empty Luxury Ball and casting it to secure his latest conquest. "There are far more important things to pay mind to, after all..." He adds despite reservations.
