It had been some time since Summer Atreides had been to jayden cross's home. It had also been some time since she stepped foot in Sootopolis. Most of her focus was to her own business and company in Mauville City, so it was a rarity that she came into Rocket territory except for business.[break][break]

However, she was rather pleased. It felt a bit freeing, being back. She carried a bag with a stash of goods from her warehouse, and a belt across her hips were full of Poke balls.[break][break]

Poison-types, specifically, for their... experimentation.[break][break]

Approaching his home, Summer rang the doorbell, setting the bag down on the step. "It's heavier than I thought..." she mumbled to herself, waiting for Jayden to retrieve her.

jayden is nothing if not punctual. just as she reaches for the doorbell, jayden arrives at the threshold and pulls the door wide open.

[break][break] rather than take her to the living room, he's quick to head down the stairwell and towards the basement. as they walk through, panels light up automatically to lead her towards the inner sanctum of his lab.

Summer offered a quick, kind smile to her friend as he opened the door, allowing her inside. It was much appreciated as he took the bag from her, allowing her a moment to roll out her shoulders and relax.[break][break]

"It was fine. No bumps in the road. It was surprisingly quiet."[break][break]

Summer followed Jayden downstairs to his lab, taking a glance around. "Would you like me to set these Poke balls anywhere in particular?" she asked.

Summer merely shrugged, allowing Jayden to go about his business as he pleased. It was less work for her to do. So, she took a seat in a chair nearby, crossing her legs as she answered an email or two on her phone.[break][break]

"It's not an issue, darling. By me a drink next time," she teased.[break][break]

Though the shift in conversation caused her to heave a sigh. Slouching further into the seat, Summer crossed her arms over her chest as she regarded Jayden with an almost annoyed look.[break][break]

"Specific supplies, yes. The manufacturing of our enhancements has slowed down because trade in some of our ingredients has been hard to come by. It's making it harder to sell, too. Higher prices, driving away our customers who don't have the penny for it."
