WHETHER IT WAS DISPLACED BENEATH LITTLEROOT DUE TO DIMENSIONAL ENTANGLEMENT, BROUGHT BACK TO FUNCTIONING ORDER DUE TO DIALGA, OR BOTH, can not be determined. However, this kingdom made entirely out of intricate mechanisms is void of human life. Clockwork gears, iron tunnels, and curious domes make up this kingdom that continues to function like an animatronic music box.[break][break]

Mechanical Pokemon like Magearna, Volcanion and others present in the kingdom seem to be robotic, set to a rhythm or programming like an animatronic figure.[break][break]

Several clock towers loom above the entire kingdom, though their machinery seems to be in disrepair.

It unnerves him time and time again when he adapts to the unknown. He’s supposed to be the hometown hero. The guy that’ll buy you a beer and hear out your problems. If a scrap breaks out, he’ll fight. He’ll get you out. See you off. Return to the sidelines, kick his feet up.[break][break]
He’s not supposed to effortlessly take to traversing this fleshless kingdom by the skylines. As soon as the thing got hooked to his arm, he was off, racing across the sky with the love of his life hot on his heels. All he needs now is a gun in his right hand and something to shoot. He’ll look like an action hero.[break][break]
Their path leads them up and over. Around the bend is the top of a tall building – taller than everything surrounding the proverbial fortress. Her noivern flies in silently behind him, swooping instead of flapping it's wings as to not disturb the machines below them. Meloetta floats effortlessly and gracefully behind them to make sure she isn't left behind as she grabs onto navy from behind to hitch a free ride. [break][break]

"And honestly, I'm unsure. More information one what exactly is going on here would be nice. There's a weird dynamic between meloetta, the volcanion, and the magearnas...is she the princess? Why is volcanion trying to even find a princess amid such a large horde? Where does Meloetta fit into this, is SHE the princess?" she says trailing off as she looks and sees something strange. "Are all those magearna heading in the same direction?" she asks him as she points out a large gathering of them. "And if they are...for what?"

“Do we even know where we are? When we are? Being in Eternatus’s gut is easy to understand. Wonder if the answer’s just as wild for the rest of the places.” They have something to do. "Just cause you don't know right now doesn't mean you wont figure it out, silly." she smiles as he starts to ask questions about the ultra spaces that had opened up. [break][break]

However that smile quickly fades as Melody's expression quickly changes to a pout. "It's scar- HEY DON'T LEAVE ME!" she wants to yell at him but decides not to. She grabs one of the apparatuses that latches onto her arm and she starts to slide down the pathway he just took. As the group gets closer to see what exactly is going on, Navy asks melody about the volcanion. [break][break]

"Well..I thought he was...but these other ones look different.." she says trying to look closer, as melody is lost in thought Meloetta responds to navy's question with a simple shrug. she had no idea either. [break][break]

"Seems like Pokémon who are split off from the main part don't retain any of their memories or even personality, they're like their own person." she responds as she stands up and straightens her clothes as it was clear she was about to intervene. "But regardless, I can't stand by while someone else suffers." she looks over to see a mechanical factory creating more soldiers.. [break][break]

"We could split up, I'll handle the factory, you handle the execution?" she asks with a wink as she wonders how he'd respond to her suggestion.

“Sure.” He agrees readily enough. A hand slips into the small of her back, pulling her close. Here, deep in enemy territory, he kisses her. Recklessly, with a dragon’s greed. Anything in the world could swoop down upon them while he does that, but why should he care? With her in his arms, he feels powerful. Strong enough to take on anyone, anything.[break][break]
“Good luck. Call me if you need me.” Flipping off the roof, he catches a rail and skids down towards the execution. Navy’s sharp eyes saw what he was getting himself into. This rail puts him on a collision course with the Aegislash.[break][break]
“Looks like a corrupt system of government to me. Ain’t fair to execute something again and again. Double jeopardy. Just isn’t right.” He pulls a pokeball out from his pocket. Out comes an Aegislash of his own. Dragonslayer is an oversized blade. Thick, course, rough. Like most Aegislash, it seems more a slab of iron than a proper sword. It would take someone like to wield a blade of this size.[break][break]
Dragonslayer casts a spotlight on himself. The mechanical Aegislash turns its eye upon him. Raising up high, it crashes down upon the sword and its trainer.[break][break]
A resplendent shield of light raises up to meet it – the king’s shield. A symbol of ancient power.[break][break]
“That’s how ya do it!” Navy cries out.

He grabs her suddenly, her face immediately turns beet red as she wasn't used to him being so forward like this. However, she doesn't pull away from him as he initiates it. She frowns however instead, and stays silent, nodding obediently as Meloetta shuts her eyes with her hands. [break][break]

"I will. Do the same. Ok?" as her confident domineering personality took a complete roundabout turn as he rushes off on the rail. [break][break]

She rushes off to the factory with Meloetta in tow who gave melody a strange look. Melody frowns at her "Oh shut up!" she says despite the fact Meloetta had not even say anything as the idol's face was still red. The a horde of dilapidated volcanions who were still being assembled looked towards her, firing off a STEAM ERUPTION at them and Meloetta intervenes and uses PSYCHIC creating a barrier in front of them to defend against the steam. [break][break]

Noivern swoops in, launching itself onto the volcanion that attacked and uses BITE on it, tearing it to pieces.

The sword swings again. Only Dragonslayer’s light saves him from the inevitable: Navy would be dead, were it not for his sword. It blocks the blow, but it cannot go on the offensive. Luckily, he came prepared.[break][break]
What trainer doesn’t bring a few backup Pokemon? Powerful ones.[break][break]
Naganadel rushes out, screaming in fury. The dragon born of a midnight sea surveys this strange, distant kingdom. Malicious power gathers in its stinger. The Tyrantrum looks up at it wearily. A powerful dragon pulse resounds, rolling like a shockwave across the kingdom. Even Melody, in her distant factory, can feel the purple dragon’s power.[break][break]
It knocks the Aegislash off balance. With no shield to defend the giant, mechanized blade, it sputters away – not defeated, but dazed. Tyrantrum, too, is free.[break][break]
And in its freedom, it finds a rider.[break][break]
“Come on, boy.” Navy pets the Pokemon, finding cold steel beneath his hands. “He’s executed you how many times now? Feels only right you get to return the favor once. Come on, Dragonslayer.” Whether he means the Tyrantrum or his own blade, who can say?

In the factory, she can feel the shockwaves of 's battle. [break][break]

He truly was worthy of the status of Elite four, the only thing holding him back was his desire to stay a local man and help the people in his immediate vicinity. However when the day came that he wanted to ascend the ranks of the league, she would support him. Nepotism be damned! [break][break]

"Meloetta, it's time for a duet, we're taking this place out in one go I need to make sure he's ok." she replies, her faith in him was strong but her mind was weaker. She pulls out her book she took from earlier as Meloetta read over it and the two began to sang as the rust started to spread out from their position, Meloetta then joins in the song. [break][break]

Once the duet began the rust spread out rapidly in an explosion like fashion, a shard of Meloetta's authority was enough to condemn the entire factory. The building began to shake as the rust spread to parts of the building's integral supports and Noivern catches on to what is occuring. [break][break]

It rushes out, scooping the two in it's speed to ensure their safety. The factory begins to collapse as Melotta looks at melody with an annoyed expression "I'll fix it when we figure out what's going on here!" she assures her as they rush back over to the execution grounds.

At least his sword cancels out the image. As the Volcanion look up at him with judging eyes, Dragonslayer slashes. The mechanical Tyrantrum smashes them, going on a rampage throughout the area.[break][break]
Someone will have a hard time fixing up this mess. Navy enjoys his outing in this odd mechanical world, hoping that Melody can gleam some answer about the truth behind this place. He doubts they will. As Navy has come to learn in short order, answers only come when dramatically appropriate. Fitting, considering they now dance on a stage of some craftsman’s immaculate design.[break][break]
More could be said about what occurs – of the rampage and the escape. That song has been sung before, with both Melody and Navy playing the stars. Everyone in Hoenn knows how they fight. Everyone knows their tactics. As a famous Rock Band says, the faces might change, but the song remains the same.[break][break]
Eventually, they’re back in the surface world, laying on green grass. Above them is a beautiful blue sky. Their Pokemon lay around them.[break][break]
