CONTRARY TO ITS NAME, THE MAJORITY OF THE ULTRA DEEP SEA IS A VAST CAVE-LIKE WORLD. Shafts of light from an unknown source barely penetrate the dark, causing colorful diamond-like rocks to glisten against humid walls. The dim lighting makes the place seem like you're thousands of leagues under the sea... Eerily, an unceasing pulse can be heard like a heart beat that rumbles throughout the realm.[break][break]

Oddly enough, one is able to "swim" through this realm like Water-type Pokemon floating in air.[break][break]

One may stumble upon deep, cold pools of dark water and alien seaweed as they scout out the realm. Segments of this place open up into an astral sea, where islands of mysterious stone are suspended mid-air.

Inscribed in the book’s cover is a strange Pokemon. Perhaps this book held answers, once. All that remains are mere scraps of paper and its heavy cover. Looking up, AQUA’s 2nd newest recruit breathes deep of interdream mist. He didn’t know what he was expecting, bringing this book here. His own harsh inner critic says he risks the same disaster that escalated matters to blows between Matias and him.[break][break]
“Well, doesn’t look like the book’s gonna make anything happen with the mist.” Navy returns the book to his backpack. There it will sit until it is returned safely into League custody. It wouldn’t do to lose valuable property.[break][break]
‘One good thing about this mist,” he begins, waving up at the distant white light, “it keeps the Nihilego away. They don’t like Paradox Pokemon any more than Winter and his buddies do.”[break][break]
He doubts there’s anything deep there. Any apex predator would be wary of intrusive species invading their ecosystems. There are lights closer to the ground, and bubbles that threaten ruination if they are burst.[break][break]
“Well, may as well head back. We’ve done a good sweep today.”[break][break]
He thinks the day’s story is already over.

She gets quiet at the mention of Nihilego. She has a natural fear of them given her experience with their toxins, the way it compels you to be the worst most impulsive version of yourself sent freezing cold shivers down her spine. [break][break]

"Really? I think some of them are cute. There's rumours online that the jigglypuff looking one was caused cause of my old hairstyle." she says as the girl had recently adopted dying her hair white. But the iconic pink ponytail still remained in the memories of the public eye.[break][break]

All around them were tiny bioluminscent lights, flutter around beautifully and lazily, as if they had been asleep this entire time. However a massive thud shook the area, causing all of the lights to immeidately shut off and scatter off in a million different directions. "Babe?! What was that?!" she asked as he was the expert here.

Her pitch heightens as she can hear nihilego nearby.

“Yeah,” he agrees with the amusing rumor, “and I think Iron Valiants exist ‘cause of what Roland did. Died for me.” Just like him to be grim. His Gallade had been slain by an army of paradox pokemon, cast into the darkness of the interdream mist. Something else had emerged, shiny and chrome. A warrior of a new age emerged from the mists.[break][break]
Whatever’s happening now, it’s frightened the Nihilego. Their lights fade in response to whatever is rumbling down below. To think, there are even creatures that can frighten them.[break][break]
“Let’s get a little light in here, huh?” Navy throws out two Pokemon. One is Roland, who he just mentioned. Even one-armed, he looks as fierce an Iron Valiant as any seen before or since. At his side is Dragonslayer, a massive blade. It was forged for the purpose it shares its name with – to slay dragons.[break][break]
In their light, the horror of the pink mist is exposed – a smiling Scream Tail, bigger than Vortigern. An apex predator of a world removed from common sense.

Navy comes to her rescue, her draconic knight in fashionable armor. [break][break]

However, a tiny little jellyfish rapidly swims it's way over to Melody and Navy's side. Seemingly....afraid? It dodged past Navy and went to Melody, seemingly drawn to her natural charm or something. She panics at first, Her oricorio and Meowscarada summoning themselves to her side to defend her. But it panics and falls to the floor in surrender, asking her for protection from the true threat. The screamtail that had appeared right behind it.[break][break]

Every instinct in her body screamed at her, urged her, to strike down the nihilego first. To her it was nothing more than a parasitic creature responsible for a fraction of her torment. However, she steels herself as she activates her sygnasuit and meowscarada snaps it's claws and creates a spotlight over Melody and her suit becomes a tango dress and Oricorio mimic's her movement. [break][break]

A fiery passion fills her eyes as another spotlight hovers over nihilego and Melody speaks as it was obvious the sygnasuit was affecting her in the same way that Navy's rage spiked with his pokemon. "Don't worry little one, no one rushes the stage of a Diva and lives to tell the tail. I'll send this unruly trespasser packing. expeditiously!" she says as Melody strikes a pose in the spotlight and the scream tail's face becomes bewildered as music begins to play from melody's phone. [break][break]

Melody draws her sword, and begins to use swords dance to enhance her offensive capabilities as she dashes towards the scream tail and attempts to slice at it. However the pokemon pushes her back with a hyper voice attack as she defends herself by creating a barrier with the suit that pushes her back. "Ugh that thing's gonna pop these bubbles if it attacks like that!"

Sword, man, and knight all look on in confusion. Though he wears his sygna suit, both of his dragons rest. Today, he is his own man. All of them are puzzled by Melody’s sudden larger than life persona. It seems that something has synchronized its soul to the woman Navy loves.[break][break]
“Alright.” Navy says, reading the writing on the wall. “We’ll be your backup dancers.” Dragonslayer casts a spotlight upon himself, drawing the ire of the Scream Tail. It seems, already, that Dragonslayer has misunderstood his role as a back-up dancer. The Scream Tail screams, as its name would imply. It howls in rage at the humans intruding upon its domain.[break][break]
Roland accentuates the blow with a moon blast, countering Scream Tail’s inevitable charge.[break][break]
“Looks like you’ve made yourself a friend. Good for us, too.” Above them, another light goes out. Were it not for Dragonslayer’s light, they would be cast in darkness.[break][break]
It would have made for an unnerving picture, had they not come prepared.

She says as she readies her blade, she had a plan but the scream tail was going to be a problem. "Araquanid!" she says as her water spider emerges. "Prep your water bubble for a grand finale. charge up! Oricorio with me!" she rushes forward to strike at the scream tail again, imbuing her blade with a HURRICANE attack she braves against the harsh sound waves she's used to bearing. [break][break]

She manages to get a good strike in, at least enough to distract the scream tail as oricorio comes in delivering a series of quick blows.

She lands the hurricane attack against the scream tail and manages to piss it off but as it's about to scream again, navy intervenes. [break][break]

The AURA SPHERE complimented her plan perfectly as the scream tail is pushed backwards and is forced to eat the attack. it was like a small small flick to the nose thanks to it's typing. However, it irritated the creature greatly as it took in a massive gulp of air and Melody uses hurricane to launch her back towards the group and tries to group up with everyone. "Go!" she orders as the araquanid shows her that she's ready. [break][break]

Suddenly, she grabs navy and pulls in her pokemon closer as ARAQUANID'S WATER BUBBLE expands and devours them all suddenly encapsulating them all as the screamtail's hyper voice reaches out and damages the acidic bubbles that lingered in the air causing them to burst suddenly as the platter against the water bubble shielding them. The scream tail shouts in pain as it's consumed by the poison and returns to dream mist and the bodies are also consumed by the acid. [break][break]

"It worked!" she says overly excited as she wasn't sure about her plan.
