Gavin's response is silent, a thumbs up offered to Silph as he guzzles down the rest of an energy drink. Well, Katherine didn't eat anything, which was good. However, she did have a couple of cocktails to replace the food she hadn't eaten. She knew it was a bad idea, and she knew it was an even worse idea to participate in a race of all things under this condition.

Luckily, if the other runs were any indication, it'd be safe to assume that her pace would remain average at best.

Oh no.

This was a bad idea, this was a bad idea, this was a bad idea. Katherine felt her stomach screaming at her for pulling a stunt like this. Who the hell drinks this much before a race? An idiot. A drunk idiot. She is incapable of matching the pace of her Gallade, and it's practically a miracle that she hadn't lost her balance yet.

The finish line was close, but not enough for her to feel good about the progress she'd made.

She prays to Arceus that she won't stain the course with throw-up by the time this is finished. She can't even come up with a good retort to Gavin's words in this condition, but she thankfully, she has her middle finger to show him instead.

Only a bully could blame an intoxicated person for their mistakes. Cillian Quinn is a bully.
