Hideo Kino and John Sullivan

It was a while back, but I recall us planning to do the Daycare Playdate mission together with our bugs.  Wondering if you're still up for it.

(Also, I love the chemistry our two dorks have with each other; reminds me why I enjoyed threading with you on other sites)

JOHN NELSON && John Sullivan

Same name. Same name? Same name!

So John (should I be calling him "Nelson" in this post? Maybe Johnny . . .) is a huge fan. He's 100% one of those people who finds someone successful who shares some of their name and immediately decides rooting for them is the way to go. Ever since dropping out of the gym challenge in his mid-20's he's done a lot of coping mostly through consuming pro circuit content and Doug's rise through Kanto and Johto coincides really nicely actually with when he stopped his journey ('13).

It would have stung seeing a kid -- younger than he was when he started -- tearing it up, but also wow we're both named John how cool is that! Obviously Doug's exploits lately have been more military-aligned but it looks like he has a good number of Hoenn badges and he was a gym leader so John would have been eating up any public information and broadcasts from that time.

How are they going to meet and plot though? I don't know. But John's a huge fan.
