Oldale town is in shambles. Quaint peace meant for those well past their age is buried by the wild cackle of burning straw and wood. It reeks of smoke, a telltale sign of a conflict much too violent for its inhabitants.

The rampage goes on well into the heart of such a small town. From an onlooker’s perspective, it’s nothing short of depression. The elderly clutter together, worrisome in their need to clean up what mess they can. It doesn’t amount to much but they do what they can. It’s their home.

“Stay alert.”

Fernando’s reminder cracks with the whip of someone still living through their youth. His Zygarde remains by his side, sniffing repeatedly in an attempt to track their prey. “And look to minimize any further damage.”

Yui stared intensely at the zygarde...it was a Pokémon she didn't really understand it or what it was, and of course yui being the greedy little knowledge hoarder she was wanted to know more information about it. She at LEAST wanted some pokedex information for it but there was a SERIOUS lack of information on it so she just stared at it silently. When Fernando told her to stay alert she snapped back to reality and the situation around them. Oldale town got shat on, oh arceus it was bad. Yui looked around trying to see if she could spot any dragons nearby as her overweight appletun waddled besides her looking at the sheer destruction. Was this what she was hiding away from? Hoenn was truly in a dangerous situation and all she did was hide from it. [break][break]

However there was no point in looking in the past when she could do something about it now. She decided maybe appletune would struggle fighting on it's own so she released another pokemon from it's premier ball, Eevee. She looked to eevee and although it was happy to see her and so was yui she instantly got a pit in her stomach from being unable to do a complete z move. She let out a small cough "Eevee can you help see if you can pick up a scent?" she asked it as she pet it on the head "See anything razz?" she said turning to him, glad that he was also here to back her up.

If this weren’t such a serious situation Razz may be questioning what the heck this new pokemon was Fernando has with him. However with the destruction of yet another site in the town now wasn’t the time to be focusing on that. With Whis by his side keeping his ears out Razz examined the area, trying to use his training to see if there were any tracks that could be followed. “Understood,” Razz confirms Fernando’s order like the soldier he was always raised to be. He does what he can to focus on the order to ignore the fire around them. [break][break]

While they were looking Razz had a few of his water pokemon cleaning up the fire and putting it out before any other damage could be done. “Doesn’t seem like it,” he replies to Yui at first before something is heard from afar that makes his Zeaora’s ears twitch making the cat start to sprint off, “We might have something,” he gives a warning to the others before following his pokemon to see what his pokemon has found.

Once they clear the obstruction of the town it becomes near impossible to miss the hulking size of their target. “Zygarde!” An immediate call to action has his Pokemon take the stage front and center.

“We’ll run interference,” he passes to the other two trainers with him. “But I don’t know how long we can keep it contained. Make it count.”

He strafes left alongside the canine, circling to the Pokemon’s side.

“Battle routine set.”

Zygarde proves much swifter than its trainer. By the time Fernando catches up, the Pokemon is already prone.

“Execute!”

The MEGA EVOLVED Pokemon elicits a GLARE from the Legendary Pokemon. A pulse of energy ripples from the dog’s gaze, holding it in place as the opponent’s muscle seize.

However, that doesn’t last long. The pause lasts only a few moments, evident in the way the Pokemon shakes as it tries to break free. It buys them a moment to set up and attack but sooner rather than later, the Duraludon will break free.

What the hell? A random mega pokemon?! but how?! Yui panicked, the site of the massive Duraldon rampaging around made her freeze in place. It wasn't until fernando gave her a directive that she snapped out of it and began to give her appletun orders. "Appletun! D4, growth then body slam." she ordered as appletun rolled over to the "square" yui commanded to and began to grow larger and larger before leaping into the air and trying to slam it's body into duraldon. The pokemon seemed to move only ever so slightly as it was still larger compared to her pokemon but it did do some marginal damage. However now it was duraldon's turn as it took one of it's massive pillar like arms and swung it back at appletun sending it flying past her. It slammed into a tree but thanks to it's soft padding it didn't take as much damage as it should have. "Appletun!" she called out for it as it rolled onto the floor and slowly got back up raring to go again for it's trainer but the damage on it's body was ALREADY apparent.

"Got it!" Razz confirmed like the soldier he was waiting for the moment of opportunity Fernando promised to make. While he would like to calm down the dragon the damage done has been too much now. It needed to be taken out and relocated. Once glare took hold the Ranger was easily able to pick out where they needed. "You have a much better move than that and you know it," he tells her as he shares a look with his Zeraora before both nodding. [break][break]

"You just need to stop holding yourself back," he continues before there is a surge of energy between Razz and his Zeraora. Razz flowed through the movements as if setting up an ensample for the younger Silph to watch. "get up close!" he orders as the cat gets himself in front of the dragon before they used GIGAVOLT HAVOC, the electricity flying and enveloping the Mega Evolved pokemon. He probably should have gone with a fighting type Z-move but he'll pretend for the moment that Whis doesn't know how. [break][break]

It does quite a bit of damage but with the duraludon having been mega evolved it was able to keep up it's natrual resistance. Though he knew they were that much closer hopefully Yui would be able to do more. Worn down from the Z-move the wild dragon takes advantage as it uses g-max depletion to strike at the Zeraora knocking them back.

Fernando’s voice cracks with a whip-like snap. The moment the Duradulon retaliates is the moment they jump back in. A triangle formation buys them time. Every time a part member is struck another can buy them time by attacking from a different angle.

The canine lunges forward with a SUPER POWER, pushing the Pokemon back with both its front paws, struggling against it as the two stand at a standstill.

Yui almost never cursed in her life, but this was even worse than the Nagandel that cornered her and Stormy Silph . She was looking like a fool in front of FERNANDO SILPH who was the closest thing to the father to her. On top of that the one person she can really call a friend, razz was also looking at her being a fool. Ugh Why now?! Why like this?! Her frustration began to rise as she called out "EVE!" as the Eevee jumped off of her shoulder till it was standing in front of her raring to go. "We're gonna try! Give it all you got!" as she stood in position, fernando's super power from zygarde managed to buy her enough cover for now. She let out a small breath to calm herself down [break][break]
She began to do the dance that Razz had shown her, the duraladon too preoccupied with the zygarde to even notice. It seemed like all of it was going well so far, "I'm doing it, IM DOING IT!" she said getting eager as it seemed like the z move was going to be completed as eevee was being coated in z energy. [break][break]

However when that energy was released, Eeevee instead fired off a swift attack at duraladon. Yui then shouted at it "are you FUCKING kidding me?!" she said screaming that she failed it again. She didn't even care that she was in front of Fernando anymore, no one in her family or outside of it ever heard the young girl curse. But she was too tired, too tired to maintain that anymore. [break][break]

Her feelings finally bubbled to the top, but besides the two trainers with her noticing the pokemon they were fighting noticed as well. Duraldon used breaking swipe, using it's massive tail to tear up the ground near Yui as she was directly in it's path. Luckily her appletune flew in front of the attack and her eevee did as well, but the two pokemon and their trainer were sent flying and destroying the triangle formation. [break][break]

Yui for the most part was ok, cuts and bruises lined her body as the thing to stop the group was some nearby bushes. Appletun softened the land a bit with his extremely fatty body but they all took some damage. Yui recalled her appletun as it was clearly knocked out and eevee was also pretty roughed up. Yui groaned softly from the bushes.

Admittedly most of his attention is on Yui as she makes her attempt to use a Z-move rather than focusing as much on the battle. As dangerous as the situation was, with them three of them this battle would be won. That much was certain, right now it was a matter of how quick they could get it done. Razz has Whis hold back allowing the white cat a chance to recover from the hit they took from the mega pokemon. Besides Fernando was doing fine with whatever his dog pokemon was. [break][break]

Though as the glow failed between pokemon and trainer he did raise a brow at the way she cursed. Didn't seem too in character for her with how much he's gotten to know the younger Silph, but frustration does a lot to people. "Heart and mind Yui, you two need to be on the same page," Razz tries to remind her because it was clear to him that the two weren't on the same page. [break][break]

After the BREAKING SWIPE the ranger gives a whistle to Whis having had the chance to recover their energy from the Z-move and having taken a Max-Attack head on. With the commend the Zeraora uses VOLT SWITCH to get in close and fast to strike the Mega Evolved pokemon with another attack. It was meant to be quick and dirty, simple as that. Enough for a distraction as Razz shared a look with Salem who was at his side to set up a REFLECT for the attacking group noting how much damage it was causing.

VICTORY IS ASSURED BUT NOT WITHOUT WORK AND EFFORT. On paper, the three of them should have no trouble with an opponent of this caliber. It might be tedious but that comes with all field work.

“What are you doing,” Fernando berates with alarm the moment Yui breaks out into dance. Whatever she thinks she’s doing is nothing short of irresponsible—on a battlefield no less.

When her attempt fails, she suffers the consequences of her Melody impression. “Kingsman,” Fernando snaps. “Cover me. We’re going to end this.”

His Zygarde channels LAND’S WRATH to cause the earth underneath to collapse around the Duraladon’s feet. It sinks like a waterlogged paper ball, resistant at first until the tension breaks all at once.

Fernando’s Tapu Fini is summoned by the MISTY TERRAIN that coils around his body. It emerges from its shell with the grace of an awakened princess, eyelashes fluttering as it recognizes its target.

NATURE’S MADNESS crackles from its finger tips as it starts to charge it’s own Z-move.

She cant move, she just sat there to watch helplessly as her friend and brother took over for her. She sat there watching as they just took over for her. Was this going to be her life? Just a constant hinderance to those around her? She felt herself slowly start to sucumb to the weight of her injuries. She was going to pass out, she looked over to her Eevee who was fighting stand up again.[break][break]

"Eevee...please..just stop. You're gonna hurt yourself.." she said as her Eevee was too stubborn to listen to her trainer. She then looked up towards the sky and spoke to herself. "I just want..to make you happy.." she said as she slowly closed her eyes and succumbed to her injuries and passed out. However energy sparked on Yui's body causing a large swirling of air to encapsulate the two as Eevee suddenly felt charged and a pulse of energy flew out from the two. [break][break]

At first it would appear as if nothing happened, just slowly the bushes around the trio began to shuffle as an entire line of Eevee's evolutions appeared and surrounded the area. They create several balls of light that circle around eevee and covered it's body as it charged a massive beam of energy and eevee successfully managed to use her z-move Potential power [break][break]

The multicolored beam collided with the massive mega duraludon. It caused some damage to the creature's body but what was more peculiar afterwards is a second blast of misty surge not originating from Tapu-Fini encapsulated the area and a sudden sand storm began to swirl around them all causing sand to get in the mega's eyes. Once the attack was complete, the Eeveelutions vanished from sight, gone as quickly as they came similar to a ghost. The mega evolution sat there dazed still trying to reach it's eyes to get the sand out of them.

Seems like the older Silph was none to proud of his sister for her failed attempt at a Z-move. A tad harsh considering he himself uses the dance for the Z-move most the time. But right now wasn't the time to judge it all as he was given an order. And of course he was going to follow, "Got it sir," is all he confirms as he whistles to Salem, the psychic cat does what it can to suppress the steel dragon from moving after the weird dog's attack to allow Fernando to try an use Tapu Fini and their Z-move. [break][break]

Though it seems like another power hits as Razz looks behind them to see Yui's Eevee seeming to summon the eevee line as her Z-power. Razz makes sure to whistle for his pokemon to get back and for Salem to keep holding onto the Duraludon as the attack. Seem like that would be enough for that as Salem couldn't keep holding the pokemon for long as the dragon let loose it's extra energy as to revert back to normal having been finished off by the Silphs' attacks. [break][break]

"Good work," Razz would call out to her as the Ranger would go in close to take a look at the problematic dragon.

HE LEAVES RAZZ TO HANDLE THE OBJECTIVE. Fieldwork is his expertise after all. Now that the battle calms and the threat is sufficiently neutralized, Fernando can put his concern onto his team. Namely the knocked out pseudo Silph that remains planted in a nearby bush.

Fernando stands over her, kneeling to places his fingers underneath her nostrils, ensuring she's still breathing. When he feels the heat of her breath, he retracts. "Yui," he states once before shaking her ajar.

"Yui Fujin Silph!"

Time to wake up.

At first all she felt was the pressure from Fernando's hands grabbing her and shaking her, slowly yet surely then the light crept in. Some coughs spurt out of her body. Her hearing slowly came back online as well as she heard Fernando's voice. A soft "That hurt pretty bad." was all that she managed to push out. She then looked around "Where's razz? Did you guys handle the duraludon?" she asked as the last thing she remembered was looking at the sky before passing out.

She slowly realized that there was a sandstorm raging about the place. Huh? None of their Pokémon knew sandstorm right "What caused all this sand? Did you use sandstorm to blind it?" she asked him as she slowly became a bit more active.
