crunch and
liquidation. Attempting to claim something in their menacing jaws that isn’t even there… [break][break]
Angelo grimaces as searing pain shoots up his arm, teeth clenching down hard as he forces himself to hold onto his precious breath, even when blood begins to stain the water around him. A Sharpedo having sunk its fangs into his flesh as it knocks him aside with its charging
liquidation. It's attack sending Angelo spinning further out into the deep, swept away from the wreck and those he wishes to find. Left to the disturbed ocean's mercy as the enraged pokemon kick up a violent undercurrent. [break][break]
Tumbling through the never-ending blue as his muscles turn useless in the ocean’s superior weight, Angelo feels his heart thundering furiously against his ribcage, instincts screaming at him to swim. Ordering him to get to the surface for another desperate gulp of air before he’s trapped under wave after wave. [break][break]
Lungs burning, skin on fire from the bleeding lacerations, he fights against the current until his aching muscles manage to right himself. [break][break]
As he ascends, Angelo's gaze - still somewhat spinning - is drawn to an entanglement of colour and shapes that squirm through the depths. Sometimes blurred from the underwater filter over his eyes and sometimes highlighted as the sunshine punctures through the surface… [break][break]
An arachnid shape, pulling and attempting to dive with the other blurs in tow… [break][break]
Pink, flailing and kicking, desperate as bubbles erupt all around… [break][break]
Elegant, slender hands reaching towards an exposed throat… [break][break]
Angelo breaks through the water with strained, hungry gasps, automatically feeding his lungs with salt air. But everything is numb when he starts to swim towards the women in the water, not registering the pains in his body or the sinking feeling in his chest as he approaches Anna (
Emma Wolfe), who frantically screams.
