Lex managed to catch a glimpse of the Gardevoir before she vanished, and he own vision began to blur. The dark electricity that pulsed through her was too much for a human body to manage. Her heart raced dangerously fast, too fast. As the electricity began to fade, her body surrendered to the exhaustion. Her vision went black, mind went blank, and the prisoner fell unconscious.

The combination of Lex’s distress and the rippling electricity cracked open two of the pokeballs on her waist. A flash of blinding light lit up the surrounding darkness. The ear-piercing scream of a furious Braviary shook the air. A flurry of feathers and wind kicked the raptor up and off the ground. His heart raced from the adrenaline pumped into his veins by Lex’s screams. His charge was protection. He seemed to failing miserably. His KEEN EYES peered through the darkness, falling on the silhouette of two humans. In a blind rage he failed to notice the Rotom hovering over his master. All the Braviary saw was red as another scream left his beak. A flash of long, sharp talons shot out from the darkness, snapping at whatever he could grab (CRUSH CLAW).

Another form materialized from the flash of light. A yellow fox rolled his shoulders, claws gripping into the rocky ground. His lips curled back, bearing sharp canine and letting loose a low growl at the Rotom in front of him. His body crouched protectively over his trainer. His eye glowed a bright pink, the spoons clutched in his fists mirrored their color. The Alakazam let loose a psychic blast, the CONFUSION aiming to shatter the corrupted pokemon’s mind so it was left frantically picking up the pieces.

Shadow Gardevoir reappeared in her previous location. She could have been stunned by what she saw, if that was an emotion she was capable of. They had really made a mess of the place. Instead, her gaze critically analyzed the pieces of the chess board.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t given much time to herself. A powerful presence pressed upon her consciousness. She recognized the stubborn, valiant, annoying aura of the Gallade as he flew towards her. She tensed, only her eyes flickering towards the psychic-type blur as his body came crashing into hers. The Gardevoir’s ghostly form spun through the air. A few wild summersaults before her long arms shot out from her sides, slowing her progress and bringing her upright. A pair of pale pink eyes glared back at the Gallade as she rose into the air. Their intensity deepened. The air around her began to shine brilliantly as the flash of sparkles dancing across the cave like a disco ball.

The DAZZLING GLEAM burst from her towards the masses below, a blinding light that carried with it the mysterious fairy-type power unique to her previous typing.

tl;dr: Lex passes out – bye bby. The Electro Web stimulates two pokeballs to open. Sahir the Alakazam defensively stand over Lex and blasts Currant with CONFUSION. Aubie, the Braviary, emerges furious and immediately pursues Razz Kingsman and zenji jabami with a wild CRUSH CLAW, just aiming to grab whatever he can. S!Gardevoir is smacked by Mega-Gawain. She attempts to blind pretty much everyone with a DAZZLING GLEAM, forcing them to regroup and chill the fuck out. (Gwyar Wledig, Razz Kingsman, Laurence Anderson, oscar clayton)

The sword didn't particularly care who stepped up to be skewered. Lightning arced through the air, and the Aegislash disappeared into its own shadow(shadow sneak) in response. She popped up from the ceiling in front of the Naganadel a second later, hovering over its oversized proboscis and thrusting her shield at its nose like a hammer (Iron Head).

For his part, Gwyar was moving long before the dragon finished taunting, leaving the Aegislash to deal with it while he... well, did something about everything going on, presumably. With the crashing water, fighting going on all around him, it was hard to decide on one's next move.

But he already had a path before him; The Ghostly Gardevoir's return alone meant a single thing: One of the rockets was already captured.

Only two more.

"Anderson." He spoke directly to Laurence Anderson over the comm in his ear. "We've got one. Let's secure the two remaining- seal the entrance."

The man palmed another pokeball, before sending out his Arcanine. The large beast appeared, and though Gwyar knew the current circumstances weren't ideal, there was no helping it. He swung his body atop it, nodding towards the Rockets in the distance.

"Extreme Speed."

The Gardevoir glared at Gawain.

He met her gleaming gaze with his own and Hypnosis.

She gleamed terribly brightly, blindingly so- but Gawain did not look away, eyes burning and vision blurring as he continued to assail her with Hypnosis.

-Gwyar gtfos fore lightning happens. Tells Lars to seal the cave somehow before Extreme Speeding in Oscar and Rowan's general direction.

The Braviary’s talon tore through soft skin like butter. The warmth that settled on the tips of his claws wasn’t enough satisfaction for the state of his trainer. He was looking for blood, more blood. One human was still left unscathed thanks to the other. Another sharp screech reverberated off the walls of the narrow cavern. Frustration fueled his impulse. His pectorals flexed to beat his wings, another attack on the humans imminent.

A jolting wave of electricity crackled through his body, stopping him in his tracks. The same dark electricity coursed through the Alakazam, sending him reeling back as his muscle stiffened in defiance against the DISCHARGE’s onslaught. Unlike his teammate, the Braviary was not left paralyzed. Instead, his fury only grew. He was at a clear disadvantage against the dual type, but that didn’t matter. His defiant and stubborn lineage wouldn’t allow him to back down, especially not when Lex was on the line. His body turned rapidly, falling towards the Rotom in a short burst of an AERIAL ACE. Although it wasn’t much, he wasn’t going to quit defending his charge until forced to do so.

tl;dr: Kinda splitting my reply into two. This one focuses on the back of the cave. Both Sahir and Aubie are fried by DISCHARGE. Sahir is paralyzed and is unable to Teleport despite his efforts. Aubie, in typical Braviary fashion, will defend his master till the end. He charges Currant with AERIAL ACE.

The Braviary’s AERIAL ACE strikes true, but Currant is too strong for the flying-type and its dark electricity is too powerful. Almost immediately after his attack, Aubie found himself convulsing with another shock of electricity. This time, the ELECTROWEB successfully pinned down his wings. The raptor struggled, crashing to the ground in a fit of rage. His piercing screech was cut short by the DISCHARGE, a final zap of the dark electricity left him unconscious and limp on the cavern floor beside his trainer.

Sahir watches in bitter horror. His body is unwillingly to obey his commands. He’s trapped within the confines of his mind, unable to help in any way. All he can do is watch helplessly as Aubie falls to the floor and all hope for freeing their trainer is lost.

Gawain’s valiant effort at a HYPNOSIS fell short this time around. The brilliant blast of the DAZZLING GLEAM impeded the psychic energy from taking a grip on her consciousness. In the after wake of the fairy-type attack, she is surprised to see a fellow Gardevoir assaulting her shadow-kin with a powerful MOONBLST. The Bisharp stood resolute in its wake. If the Gardevoir could feel pride, that may have been the emotion she associated with the Shadow Bisharp.

A crimson gaze shifts down to her charges. They had gathered together, a severally injured boy, a masked man, and their pokemon. The specter floated down to the sides. Her long, spidery fingers curled around oscar clayton’s and Rowan Wrynn’s shoulders. A moment of stillness warned them of her intentions. Whatever pokemon they had to retrieve would need to be retrieved now.

In a flash of light, the small group disappeared. Psychic energy tore them through space until spitting them out in the living room of Lex’s Lavaridge home. Gardevoir immediately diverted her attention from them. Her first objective was complete. Now, to find Killian Decker.

tl;dr: Braviary faints, Alakazam is still PARALYZED. Gardevoir does not succumb to the HYPNOSIS this time, her DAZZLING GLEAM helps disrupt its effects. She fulfills her objective by TELEPORTING oscar clayton and Rowan Wrynn to Lex and Killian’s home in Lavaridge. Surprise, Killian Decker!
