Between explosions, more zombies, a legendary popping in to say hi, this ridiculous Rocket’s shenanigans, and people falling off the mountain, it wasn’t a surprise Eva and her pokemon were a little distracted.

With both Blade and Adele engaged in fending off zombies, Eva had turned all her attention to attempting to rescue Tempest Quinn who fell off the damned mountain. It was too late though. And just when she was about to divert her pokemon’s attention to rescue efforts, she was scooped up by bryan delarosa’s Sylveon.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” she growled once she was tangled up enough to limit her movement to sporadic jerks. Eva’s sudden burst of distress tore Blade away from his battle. There was a wild fury in his eyes as he glanced between Eva, the Sylveon, and Bryan DelarrRRrrrRRrrRRosa: A dead man walking.

“Fuck you! Don’t give him shit!” she yelled at Lilith as the cool steel blade pressed against her neck. There was just enough force to draw out a small drop of warm crimson that rolled down the edge of the blade. Eva flinched at the sting.

Unfortunately, Bryan got what he wanted from lilith eirwin. With his prize in hand, Eva was of no use anymore. She let out a loud scream as gravity carried her over the edge of the mountain.

This is where she finally died.

Except Adele was on her shit.

Her hands reached out, a pink PSYCHIC wrapped around Eva, stopping her fall and pulling her back up into Blade’s arms who was waiting for her, “That fucking piece of fucking rat shit mother fucker,” she grumbled as she slid back onto solid ground, “Nice work you two,” With bryan delarosa nowhere to be seen, she was forced to save it for another time. There was other work to be done.

“Is everyone ok. Pry, you ok?” her eyes glanced towards the secured samples, “Hell yeah! Nice work!” she praised both priam conrad and lilith eirwin.

“What a shit show,” she mused, surveying the damage. The tree’s energy was out of this world. How the heck did it raise the dead? Eva extracted a pokeball and tossed it at the nearby Z!Hariyama. She half wasn’t expecting it to work but the pokemon was sucked into the sphere with little resistance.

“We gotta find that guy that fell over the edge,” he was probably seriously injured, “Good call on backup, Pry. Hopefully they don’t take long,”

tl;dr Eva is saved by Adele and Blade and she catches the Z!Hariyama. Wants to make sure everyone’s ok and get a rescue party to find Tempest Quinn. She praises priam conrad for a job well done collecting the samples.

He didn't want to actually kill her, he needed a distraction to make his get away. [break][break]

As soon as audino confirm's Eva Morales 's safety she waves a hand and scurries off quickly towards where Bryan headed. [break][break]

Bryan managed to get some good distance from the leaguers and finally let out a huff of air and fell onto his ass. Fuck that was difficult, he did pretty well considering he was basically working alone. He looked over to his grimmsnarl's carrying the tree, he needed to get it to the sub fast. [break][break]

He pulled out his phone and called for rocket to plan an evac to the sub and to bring several pokemon who can teleport and transport the tree. He saw his zoroark who was carrying Emma Wolfe , she was asleep? Well whatever time to wake her him, he tried to wake her by tapping her lightly. It didn't work so he went on to shake her a bit, and when she didn't respond besides a few grumbles he violently shook her "Emma. EMMA!" he shouts as she was out cold...what the fuck? How was she asleep?? [break][break]

Did..did that Cresselia have something to do with this? did it keep her sleeping? He picked up Emma bridal style, intent on carrying her to the meet up place and hurridly. He sent his zoroark to go search for Tempest Quinn and secure him as well, he couldn't let the league take him in and had to make sure everyone came home...at least in once piece? Well whatever, time to get moving. This conversation with gavin was going to be fun.

Sound fades in and out. There is a dull, constant pain at the back of her head, and blood smears the left side of her face. She can't see, can't think, can't hardly hear. There is a ringing so loud it's defeaning, and no matter how hard she tries to focus, the world spins. [break][break]

She can't move, she can't speak.[break][break]

Pokemon surround her, wet noses pressed to cold skin. She exhales, but that is the only sign of life she can give. Teeth graze her fingertips, an attempt to drag her. They are delicate, but desperation leads to blood being drawn. [break][break]

Muffled voices rouse her temporarily. She is half awake, desperately clinging to consciousness, for if she fell asleep she knew she may not wake up again.[break][break]

Pain, like solar flare, spreads throughout her body. It is jarring, but she makes no sound. Warm hands lift her off of the ground and she is pressed against a warm body. His heartbeat is loud against her ear, and blood is smeared against his shirt. But somehow, it is a comfort, to hear his heartbeat overtop of her own, overtop of everything else.[break][break]

He is her lifeline, calling out her name over and over to keep her awake.[break][break]

Patting Thea on the head and Mars on the shoulders, silence falls over her as she places her hands together in a silent prayer.
