"Yeah.. the good old days."[break][break]

There is something bittersweet in that statement, one that prompts her to not look her brother in the eye. She focuses instead on the carvings beneath her fingertips, the coolness of the stone. Although none of it makes sense, she chooses to pour her energy into that rather than the mix of feelings she felt bubbling to the surface.[break][break]

She is caught by a particular painting, unaware at first of the bigger picture. Only when her Zorua hovers between them and Ryuu calls out to her does she look up. And when she does, a breathless sound of awe escapes her as she stares up at the mural. It is beautiful in ways she cannot describe. [break][break]

At his request she reaches for her phone, opening the camera app to take photos. With a steady hand she does her best to capture every inch of it, using one hand on occasion to brush moss and dust. [break][break]

Footsteps echo down a nearby tunnel and she feels the pressing need to hurry. Ryuu's voice in her head is but a whisper as he temporarily heads away. [break][break]

"Sure, okay. Be safe, brother."[break][break]

Of course, as if on cue, all hell breaks loose. What sounds like thunder splits open the cave in blinding light- or if it doesn't, earsplitting noise. The panic forces her to drop her phone, and in the dark where she can't see it face-down with her black phone case, she's fumbling.[break][break]

"Oh, fuck!"[break][break]

Another beam of light shoots into the sky and her Zorua snatches up the phone with a muffled noise of alarm. [break][break]

So much for staying low-key, right?[break][break]

The hyper beam slams into vaporeon's body and sends it flying off into the waterfall. "Hah what a fuckin chump!" he yells back at that sorry excuse of a pokemon. However with Duraludon out of commission for a bit due to hyper beam requiring a recharge time. He doesn't expect reinforcements for this guy to come back to quickly and this mother fucker sends out a metagross and then mega evolves. Shit, Jacob doesn't have a mega evolution stone, he needed some help.

He quickly recalled gibby the gible into his pokeball as a hammer arm flew towards his duraludon. It took the hit but grabbed onto the ass hat metagross, it was obvious however he couldn't hold onto it for long. Jacob got ready to send out a new contender in the ring his poliwrath! " Poliwrath help out your bud with a submission on metagross!" he calls out as poliwrath lets out a victory yell and grabs onto one of metagross's arms and tried to pin it down and hold it still.

Jacob looked over to his allies "YO YOU GUYS WANNA HELP OR SOMETHING?" He shouts at them pissed off they're just sitting there with their hands on their dicks...well maybe that didn't really apply to chloe since she was a girl. The ground rumbled around them as a beam of light shot towards the sky. It was silent for a few moments before a singular boom crashed into the floor, oh fuck what was that? Then there was another before jacob shouted "Meteor shower!" he said as he ran for cover, his pokemon could surely handle whatever it was coming for them all.

Jasper was overwhelmed by the sudden flashes of light and the noise of Pokemon firing high-intensity energy at one another. He almost panicked but managed to hold his resolve and duck for cover as the cavern filled with smoke. His partner Ceaser was already with him behind a stalagmite and filled him with a sense of courage.

He reflexively drew his sidearm as he saw a shape blur past in the smoke. He didn't know exactly who or what it was, but he needed to do something. He started running toward the shape as it began retreating as quickly as it came in. As he started to lose the target under the thick smoke he pointed his left hand towards the mysterious stranger escaping.

"Ceaser!" He picked up the pace and started running even faster, his heart pounding in his ears. "Agility! Sick 'em Boy!" He watched as the pokemon burst past him at high velocity, a low growling bolt of fur. He managed to break free from the smoke to see the dark-haired man catching the Poipole.

"Ceaser!" He barked in a huff as he aimed his sidearm. "Crunch Boy! Get on the ground, your under arrest!"

words - Killian Decker - Jasper follows Killian and orders him to freeze as Ceaser attempt to take him to the ground.

It's days like these that he feels like just walking into the ocean and letting the tides sweep him away. The praise that Killian Decker offers him is naught but hollow, a way of communicating that the admin had indeed secured the Poipole. So with that distraction out of the way, all that's left is to take a picture of the mural and hightail it out of here, right?

Urging Lily to go before him, Ryuuzaki sends Froppy right in Killian's direction to provide support, booking it right back into the shrine room and attempting to spy any signs of Alexandra or Suzume.

But perhaps, he speaks too lightly of their situation, the sudden rumbling of the room heightening his senses as he hears the clatter of a device on the ground. His hand instinctively reaches out towards the noise, the presence of another sensed as he watches the ceiling begin to crumble. The sky is dead, the stars are falling and all he knows is a vague sense of panic brewing in his chest.

Instinct tells him to move even before he knows what he's doing, his hand gripping onto a familiar wrist as he pulls her towards him and out of the way of a falling minior. His eyes lock with his sister's, a quiet sigh escaping his lips as Lily begins to blast the falling stars away with a Hydro Pump.

'Come on, Suzu. We need to get out of here.'

Over on Froppy's end, the young Froakie spies the imminent danger approaching Killian Decker, letting out a strong Hydro Pump at the Growlithe in hopes of stopping it in its tracks. As she hops over to the man, she lets out a stream of Bubbles at Caeser, further attempting to block his way before he can strike.

Chloe stares at the message Senon had sent her, 'focus on the objective' it wasn't what she was hoping to hear - but she understood the mission came first. She jolts up when the aurora beam flew out at the group, her eyes settling on the perpetrator - rocket.

She scoffs at his words but remains silent, glancing back at Jacob and Jasper she felt a little unsure how to handle the situation - the two didn't give the best impressions but hopefully they could manage keeping team rocket at bay. "sorry i'm leaving you guys to handle this, leave the crystal to me." Before Chloe leaves, she releases a steelix to support Jacob and Jasper in battling Killian.

She gives the two a final nod "steelix for the time being please listen to them!" The steelix roars in response to her trainers wish, shortly after Chloe's departure the steelix's stone body emitted a strange light - the mega energy which overflowed from the cave enabled the steelix to temporary mega evolve without a stone.

TL;DR

If it's not one thing, it's something else.

"Ceaser!" a voice calls out from behind. Killian's quick to spin around, witnessing the Growlithe barling out from the smoke. Then comes a man (@curve) with his firearm raised. Under arrest? Killian scoffs, not likely. "That's not an option, I'm afraid."

The Growlithe lunges at Killian with its teeth bared. Orbeetle dashes into the path of the attack in the nick of time. Fangs graze its exoskeleton as it uses Psychic to try and push the canine back.

Static in fills his mind as Lex attempts to speak. Is she in trouble? He grits his teeth. Then the cave shakes, and Minior start falling like meteors. It's definitely time to leave.

"Ryuuzaki is right, it's time to go. I'll got and get Lex - if you got the photo then get out of here."

Mega Metagross takes @jacob's Poliwrath's Submission. Grunting in pain, but being otherwise fine. It's eager to fight, but a whistle from Killian sends it floating back to him. A metallic missile, Metagross will barrel straight through @curve if he doesn't move.

Killian says nothing to the man holding him at gunpoint. Banking on the fact that the sky is currently falling to distract him. He flees down the tunnel, making his way towards Lex.

Psychic Terrain: Boosts the power of Psychic-type moves used by affected Pokémon by 30%

TLDR

Killian tells @curve to go away. Orbeetle takes Growlithe's Crunch for Killian. Orbeetle uses Psychic to try and push Growlithe away.

Mega Metagross is hit by Submission but flees afterward - trying to barrel past @curve.

Killian tells the other Rockets to leave if they've completed their objectives.

Killian heads down the tunnel as the Minior Fall making his way to Alexandra Briarwood.

”Fuck, you ok, Baby?” Lex stood up and glanced over her shoulder at the Happiny in her backpack. The baby pokemon cooed weakly, shaking off the impact herself with a little jiggle. With the beam of light gone now, Lex was quick to run back up the stairs of the shrine and to the alter, < HAPPI! > the pokemon suddenly cried just before a thunderous explosion rang through her ears and blinded her sight. A shimmering barrier of PROTECT sheltered Lex from the Minior EXPLOSION, ”What the- thanks, Baby,” Tome to get the fuck out of her.

Lex snatched one of the pieces but before she could grab the other, another Minior crashed down beside them. An attempted PROTECT didn’t work this time and the thief was blown clear off the alter with fragment in hand. Lex scooped Baby onto her front, curling around her to protect the pokemon. The two slammed against a nearby pillar before falling to the floor and into a limp pile.

The Mega Gengar hissed violently, rushing to his trainer’s aid without command. His spectral form hovered over her while Baby wiggled out from underneath. Her small arms lifted to shroud them in a protective Light Screen.

Nova remained shrouded while the League Ranger @chloe rushed towards the room Lex was in to search for the crystal. That couldn’t be good. Nova dropped her Illusion in favor of finding Killian Decker. The Zororak appeared to the man as he departed to find Lex. The fox whined and pranced in front of Killian before disappearing down the tunnel to lead the way to the room Chloe was on her way to. AGILITY carried her swiftly ahead.

All Rocket Allies have -25% Damage (Baby’s Friend Guard Ability)

tl;dr: Lex grabs one crystal shard before getting yeeted by an EXPLOSION. There is still one shard for @chloe to grab. Nova is trying to lead Killian to Lex who is being guarded by Mega Gengar and the baby Happiny.

The sky begins to fall, and with it, her dignity.[break][break]

Just as she rises to her feet, her heel skates along unsteady gravel, shook loose by the crumbling ceiling. She glances up, sucking in a trembling breath. She had never known fear like this moment. Her fingers clutch her phone and she stands, motionless and afraid, as Minior rain from the sky. [break][break]

They were going to die here, and for what? For a purple alien? For pictures of a centuries-old mural that would never see the light of day? That some old geezer would knock off too or something and pour over for hours and hours, potentially without end?[break][break]

But fingers grip her arm, jolting her out of her frozen state. ryuuzaki amemiya pulls, and he pulls hard, just before a chunk of rock comes down to crush her. She gasps, a cold sweat the evidence of her relief. Suzu blinks, shaking herself out of it before running after her older brother.[break][break]

"Yeah-- yeah, okay. I-I'm coming."[break][break]

Unfortunately, it wouldn't be that easy. It was never, ever that easy. [break][break]

Killian Decker's voice in her head encourages them to move with the implication that he and Lex are together. Of course, that's the plan, but plans change. The League appear to be blood-thirsty, or at least the attractive jock seems to be. [break][break]

A nearby explosion, though not on top of the siblings, has enough impact and consequence to reach them anyway. Out of view, it takes out Alexandra Briarwood temporarily. The wall next to Suzume crumbles, breaking under the echo. It explodes outward, catching Suzu off-guard and tearing skin. She cries out in pain, pulling away from Ryuuzaki in her surprise.[break][break]

But then she stumbles, and all of a sudden she is pinned beneath the rubble. Her ankle twists, maybe even breaks, and she screams.[break][break]

It feels like the world is falling apart around him. The tunnel shakes from the force of nearby explosions, and Killian quickens his pace. He rounded a corner, spotting Nova making her way towards him. She turns back around the moment she sees seem.

"Shit." if Lex isn't with the Zoroark, she must be in trouble.

His heart is beating in his ears as adrenaline surges through him. Killian's not sure if his legs can move any faster, but he tries. As they near her location and @chloe, Nova masks his presence with an illusion

When Killian reaches her, she's knocked out on the floor surrounded by her Pokemon. "Lex!" he approaches, bending down to place a hand on her arm.

"Get up, it's time to leave. This place is falling apart."

Psychic Terrain: Boosts the power of Psychic-type moves used by affected Pokémon by 30%

TLDR

Killian runs into Zoroark and she leads him to Lex.

Nova hides them with an illusion so that @chloe hopefully doesn't see them.

Killian tries to get Alexandra Briarwood up so that they can leave.

“Killian?” she hears him, feels him but her mind is dazed. She shifts beneath his touch, not quite comprehending the situation fully. The Happiny cheerfully coos when she pushes herself up off the ground. A loud explosion and rumble make her flinch, snapping her eyes open as the adrenaline spike brings her back to her senses.

Her eyes adjust and land on Killian. She reached for him to help her up but empty hands sparked another memory, “The crystal!” she gasped. Instead of getting up she remains on her hands and knees and starts frantically searching for the piece she must have dropped during the fall.

All Rocket Allies have -25% Damage (Baby’s Friend Guard Ability)

tl;dr: Lex wakes up and is kinda groggy. She realizes she must have dropped the shard in her fall and start frantically searching for it around her (you know, things to help us post more teehee)

Killian's eager to leave, but without the crystal, the mission's a failure. That forces him to quiet the voice in the back of his mind screaming for him to grab Lex and run. He joins her on the ground, searching thoroughly but quickly for the fallen item.

It couldn't have gotten far, and yet he can't find it. Explosions from behind remind Killian that they're on a timer. "Fuck, seriously. We don't have time for this." but he's still looking.

Somewhere behind them, Metagross's Mega Evolution runs dry.

TLDR

Killian joins Alexandra Briarwood in looking for the crystal. He's not happy about it either.

“Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck,” Lex groaned while crawling along the rocky, dirt floor of the cavern. She was an absolute mess at this point: wild hair, dirt smeared across the bare part of her body and blood coming from . . . somewhere that must have gotten scratched up during one of her new multiple strikes from the Explosions. Where the hell did all these Minior come from?!

Killian’s displeasure didn’t help make things better. If only she held on tighter or had time to put it in her pocket. Whatever. It was over now, < HAP HAP! > Baby called out from behind a piece of rock that fell when Lex struck the pillar, “Baby! You little miracle!” She was pointing at the amber shard, “Got it! Let’s go!”

Lex tucked Baby back into her backpack and gave the pokemon the shard to protect. As they made their way back towards the tunnel, a Minior fell right into their path, “Shit!” Lex spun to cling to Killian as Baby put up another PROTECT around them. The rubble from the blast bounced harmlessly off the barrier but a pillar had fallen in their path, completely blocking their exit, “Fuck,” Lex didn’t have any pokemon big enough to move it.

tl;dr: Baby finds the shard so they can gtfo but…. Oh no! Wait a second! An explosion has blocked their exit! Save us Killian, you’re our only hope.

No matter how hard you try to prevent it, history repeats itself. The sudden explosion catches him off guard but perhaps, not as much as the scream that tears into his mental. The cry comes loud, sharpened edges sinking deep into his bones as the memories begin to resurface and he threatens to choke.

But he can't, doesn't allow himself to get swept up in the panic.

He works quick, paired with the rhythm of an alert Lapras as they begin to pull away the rubble as quickly and precisely as they possibly can. At some point, Froppy joins in the efforts, blowing any heavy debris away with a stream of bubbles as Ryuuzaki desperately searches. As soon as he spies a sign of life, he's working to free Suzume Amemiya from the mess, shaking hands firmly wrapping under her knees and back as he lifts her up in a bridal carry and places her onto Lily's back.

'Froppy, take point. Lily, please...'

His voice is cracking, the man carrying her Zorua and pulling himself onto the Lapras' shell as his eyes dart over her legs to determine the extent of injury - A few scrapes, a manageable amount of bleeding and a gradually reddened and swelling ankle indicative of a sprain or possibly a fracture. Other than that, she seems to be breathing just fine, albeit probably a little faster than usual considering the pain shooting through her system. As the group moves to escape the crumbling ruins, Ryuuzaki's pulling out his first aid stash, allowing Lily's Life Dew to begin the healing of smaller wounds as he starts to manage the rest.

Tl;dr - Ryuuzaki digs Suzume Amemiya out from the rubble and hucks her and her Zorua onto Lily (Lapras)[break]

The seconds were ticking by, and they still hadn't found the damn thing. This place seriously couldn't be where Killian died. He refused to let that happen. It was time to go, whether Lex wanted to or not.

Killian stood, ready to grab her by the arm and leave when Baby called out. She'd found the crystal. Lex rushed to grab it alongside her Pokemon.

"Ryuuzaki, Suzume - are you two out yet? I've got Lex, and she has the crystal. We'll be making our way out shortly."

Telepathic message sent - he and Lex hightailed it back the way they came.

BAAM!

An explosion rocked the path ahead. If not for Lex's quick thinking, they'd have gotten caught in the blast. The pillar knocked down wasn't an issue for them. Orbeetle was small, but its mental powers were extraordinary. Psychic lifted the pillar up and out of the way.

"Let's hurry." and they were back on the move. Encountering Metagross with Vaporeon on its back as they rushed. Perfect. They'd move a lot faster on Metagross.

He returned Vaporeon to make room.

The creature lowered itself down, and Killian hopped onto its back. He turned around and reached for Lex's hand to pull her up.

TLDR

Killian speaks to ryuuzaki amemiya and Suzume Amemiya with Telepathy to ask if they've left.

He has Orbeetle move the pillar.

Killian and Lex meet up with Metagross and Vaporeon. He returns Vaporeon and hops onto Metagross. He's waiting for Lex to join him.
