Razz was more than a little confused about this. It felt like the Rotation Battle all over again. Though he supposes this shouldn’t be any different than the war right? Those were crazy battles on their own. As knowing his luck all three would come right at him from the start. Because why wouldn’t they? [break][break]

The ranger has come to expect the worse. [break][break]

He sighs but this is what his pokemon wanted, and it was good for training. So for now he’ll bring out one of his pokemon he feels could actually take a hit. Time to see just how well they do.

Chu-e sidled up to his newest battle and....

"Razzie!" Raising an arm, he waved to the other as he took his spot. Chu-e had never had this type of battle before, apparently popular in Alola, but he was eager to try. It was basically a four way brawl, right? That could be fun.

He wondered who the other two people coming to this battle were. Chu-e hadn't looked at the board that closely before coming this way.

- Chu-e is using his civilian name, Ji-Hoon Ki!
- Hell yeah!!!

The other two finally came in, a couple by the looks of it as they were blowing little kisses and sweet talking each other. Razz will tilt his head at them they know this is a battle royal right? He gives a small tired wave to Chu-e as all these battles building up were wearing him down. [break][break]

Both send out a pokemon and the ranger is very confused. The Vanillish is fine, its has a clear disadvantage, but what confused him most was the other one's Toxel. [break][break]

He'll give a whistle when the announcer starts and Sage starts the battle with PIN MISSILE aiming for the group rather than just one enemy. [break][break]

After a glance at the couple, Chu-e shot Razz Kingsman a Look. One that he really hoped that the other could decipher. If these two were going to be all kissy kissy when they were supposed to be fighting... what was stopping him and Razz from just ganging up on them? That's what would probably happen anyway.

A few quick snaps and his Clefable stepped up, a real diva for the stage. She took a deep breath and let out a Misty Terrain. The Pin Missile hit, hurting, but she seemed to stand tall despite that. For now.

Razz seems a but unsure at Chu-e's look at first, more surprised that he wanted to work together in a Battle Royal, over not being unable to understand what they wanted. [break][break]

The trainer with the Ice cream pokemon seems none to please about having been attacked. So they call for an Avalanche to come onto the Spiky pokemon. Razz whistles making Sage create a SPIKY SHIELD around himself to defend against. Razz tilts his head toward the cone to silently ask if they want the ice pokemon gone first.

The wink that Razz Kingsman receives in answer is not subtle at all.

As if to answer, he let out a sharp whistle and the Clefableifted her hands, eyes cleaning as she summoned a Meteor Mash on the Vanillish, smashing the ice type with the heavy hit.

Seems like the couple were more prepared than Razz thought as the Vanillish used ALLY SWITCH to switch places with Sage forcing the grass pokemon to take the attack. Thankfully they had a high defense so it wasn’t too much of an issue. [break][break]

Meanwhile the Toxel seems to roll over toward Chu-e’s clafable to attempt to NUZZEL them. [break][break]

Okay so they were better than what their lovey dubby talk gave credit for in the beginning. Razz gives a whistle and Sage curls up for a ROLLOUT against the Vanillish.

Stars was not a very fast girl. She edged away from the Toxel but still ended up Nuzzled, getting paralyzed.

She huffed and shoved the Toxel away before raising her hand and shaking her hand, summoning a Moonblast on the Toxel.

The MOONBLAST knocks the Toxel back with ease. Despite the type advantage Toxels weren't meant for battle and it was now in a daze ready to be finished off. Meanwhile the ROLLOUT hits true striking the Vanilite with the super effective move and knocking it near the Toxel. [break][break]

"Want the honors?" Razz simply ask figuring the other would enjoy it more than he did before they'd fight one another.

Seeing as two of them were ready to go down... Chu-e assessed the Chesnaught that Razz Kingsman was fighting with verses his own Clefable. There was a good chance, since she was mostly built for healing, that she would get her ass kicked even with the Misty Terrain buff... so...

"You know it!" Another whistle and the Clefable perked her ears up for a moment. She gave a salute, then her body started to glow pink as energy built up. The Terrain swirled and started to glow as well.

"But you're coming with me, bro!"

And Chu-e tilted his head back and cackled, delighted, when his pokemon and all the Terrain burst into a Misty Explosion.

"What?" he seems confused by that, before looking toward the Clefable and the way they glow. Shit! Razz whistles to give Sage a command for SPIKY SHIELD but it was too late, and Sage's guard as down as they were still under the impression that they were working together before going against one another. Razz puts his arms up to block the wind from the Explosion the fairy pokemon caused. Once the dust cleared all four pokemon were knocked out. [break][break]

"REALLY!?" this is probably the most expressive Choi would ever see him as he is clearly flabbergasted at what the older man has done.[break][break]

The Rotom Drone circles around calling that round a draw because all pokemon were out. He sighs as he returns Sage to his pokeball, "That was a cheap shot" he comments as the couple also seems to be crying at the loss.

Unable to help himself, at the disbelief that Razz Kingsman is feeling Chu-e tilts his head back and cackles louder, like a maniac.

"Yes! Suffer! If I can't win, no one can!" He called out to the other as he called his pokemon back.

Before Razz could escape, though, Chu-e would exit the part of the field he had been led to and descend on the younger man, trying to fling himself at him to give him a hug.

If he connected, Razz would feel the poke of a needle, quick and sharp, with a dot of blood left after.

Chu-e was oblivious to this entirely. It would be done so neither of them would actually see it.

The ranger sighs again, but at least he chuckles a bit. Semi amused by it, as Salem seemed to be as well as he mimic the boom with a laugh. Though he's sure Sage definitely doesn't feel the same way. Before he could leave his spot though he's caught off guard by the sudden hug. He winces as he feels something sharp pinch him. With a small hiss he does move his arms on Choi's shoulders and moves him at arms distance. [break][break]

"I know you have a thing for knives, but maybe make sure they can't stab someone as you're trying to hug them?" he comments as he rubs the prick. It didn't hurt, but there was no reason for the other to accidently stab another.

Chu-e's face deflates a bit, a look of actual worry on his face before he starts to pat himself down- making sure everything was still in place.

"Ah shit, Razzie, I'm sorry." It didn't feel like anything was out of place, though. "Are you alright?" He did sound pretty sorry about it, at least.

He had just been happy to see his friend and then Necrozma, even if Chu-e wasn't aware, just had to ruin it.
