“Yeah, yeah. I got it.” A retort is dryly drawled out to the referee, Angelo standing just far away on his wobbling platform for the eyeroll to go unnoticed. Although, even if they had, there wouldn’t be time to respond. Not without getting a mouthful of sand.

With the Hurricane and the Earth Power working in tandem, the beach becomes consumed in a cyclone of golden particles and whipping airpower; scratching against exposed skin with sharp, windswept grains. Angelo clamps his lips together, jaw clenches as he lifts an arm to shield his eyes. None too keen to repeat the sensation of being consumed by a desert’s fury.

Aquila’s Keen Eye may be sharp but even she fails to see the two-hit-combo. Wings carry her out of the Flygon’s range as she lunges but she isn’t fast enough to avoid Shamrock’s DRAGON BREATH. It catches her off guard, sending her off balance and rendering her incapable of righting herself before the remnants of the Hurricane catch her feathers, sending her down.

There’s a mighty crack from the lifeguard towers. Aquila isn’t the only one who hits the sand.

Razz is forced to bring out his goggles as the storm hits with the combo attack all so he could see what was going on with the battle. Instinctively he does move to hold Salem in his arms rather than leave him on his own in worry something might happen. Though in the end they could tell the bird did go down, and a whistle is blown. [break][break]

"PIDGEOT HAS LANDED!" the ref calls out despite the ache now that his own platform has fallen, "Razz Kingsman is the winner! But both of you will help repair what you've done!" clearly the ref is not pleased with the damage. [break][break]

Though Razz does give Angelo a small smirk, "looks like Salem won again"
