Well, whatever. Chu-e had hot girl shit to do. When he approached he did raise a hand to wave and smile- didn't want to be rude. He seemed... vaguely familiar. Had they met before? His memory wasn't always the best. Plus, who randomly remembered someone you talked to once for like a second randomly? Apparently Adrian Malcolm, but at least he had cool Avatar powers to help with that.

"Hey, dude! I'm Ji-Hoon! You ready for a sick fight?"

"...Sure." Adrian could never appreciate enthusiasm in competition. It just chaffed him the wrong way and always felt more smarmy than not. Thus did he snatch and tear a pokeball from the belt at his waist, clicking the nodule and expanding the contraption, priming it for release.

"I'm Adrian. Go ahead and pick the format," he encouraged Ji-Hoon, spinning the sphere in his hand impatiently while the other was forced to choose.

A hip was tilted, hum leaving him as Chu-e's palm rested under his chin.

"How about...." He clicked his tongue.

"Just a one-vee-one!"

Oh his selected pokemon for this match, he plucked a ball from his hip and tossed out.

A pink Audino shook out his fluff, an angry scowl made at Adrian Malcolm that was at odds with his species' reputation. A fluffy white bow as tied around his neck, the middle a gleaming pink and cream stone inlaid.

"How about you go up against Malche? He's always raring for a good fight!"

"Alright, I'll use... my Charizard." Adrian seemed indecisive at first, but upon uttering the name and unleashing the draconid, he seemed to stand up straighter with a confidence in his decision that Charizard shared. "Best of three, then?"

If nothing else, he liked to put on a spectacle, and a single round just wouldn't do.

Immediately at the start of the match, Adrian reveals the keystone attached to his wristband, synchronizing with the Charizard until it mega evolves into the Y-variant, overwhelming the area with DROUGHT's pervasive heat while synergizing with its SOLAR POWER ability, kicking off the match with a FOCUS BLAST.

It was more than likely going to miss, and waste the first turn of mega evolution.

Chu-e Choi

Since Adrian Malcolm was whipping out the Mega, Chu-e decided to go for his own. A quick tap of the daith piercing on his right ear and Malche was undergoing his own magical girl transformation.

The Focus Blast would, indeed, miss. Malche was an angry little fucker. No sooner than his own Mega Evolution had ended that he had hopped back out of the way of the oncoming attack, making it rattle and shake the ground where he had once been standing.

Chu-e clicked his tongue. The Mega Audino took a deep breath and poured a sweet smelling, pink, sparkling mist over the field. His Misty Terrain would set him up for whatever the Charizard would throw at him next.

Adrian's tone and demeanor would shift with the sudden buzzkill. It was like a whole different person stood there now, perhaps having resigned to the loss already. As he watches Charizard come flying in for an AIR SLASH, he directs his attention to the stranger. "We've met before, haven't we? Moving that dead, bloated Wailord."

How could anyone forget a scene so macabre, a stench so awful?

"You been doing alright since then?" Speaking with a tangible concern, the stranger would almost have to wonder what he might've known about their condition.

Oh, this guy was for sure going to lose. One attack misses and he shits his pants, pisses, and cums? Try hard.

Chu-e didn't say that, though, only continued to smile and act friendly as the other spoke.

It did jog his memory, though.

"Oh! We did! I've been well enough!" It was odd, but Chu-e just brushed it off as casual conversation. "What about you? Have you been okay since then?"

Malche tanked the Air Slash but met the attack with his own Dazzling Gleam. The burst of sparkling lights would sting worse thanks to the terrain if it hit.

"...Things could be better." How long has it been since I could touch someone? A week?

Adrian didn't want to think about what was currently troubling him, and refocused himself upon the fighting. After the DAZZLING GLEAM sent it veering into the skyline, Charizard would circle back around, its skin shimmering as it basked in starlight.

When it approached Malche once more it would open up, unleashing a torrent of solar energy in a sudden, shuddering breath that would overtake its form with the sheer girth and scale of the attack with DROUGHT and SOLAR POWER combined.

...Too bad he was a one pump stump. Their training in this form was minimal, and the exhaustive nature of its abilities quickly exacted their toll as Charizard began struggling to stay airborne, or even keep its head up. Charizard fainted; Gyarados switched in.

"That's a shame. I hope whatever's got you messed up ends soon."

The attack was powerful.

Malche groaned and collapsed to one knee, panting, his Mega form fading as it ended. If he hadn't dodged that very first attack, he would have went down.

The pokemon growled at the Gyarados but knew he didn't have much left in him to really fight back. Still, he did what he could before he would go down- setting up a Wish before bracing for the last attack he could take.

"Thanks." Gyarados ended up unloading a HYPER BEAM on Malche, but not before it setup for the next switch. Incidentally they would be waiting a turn while Gyarados recuperated, though it would thrash its tail offensively if prompted by their approach.

Chu-e Choi

Malche was down. Chu-e called him back and pondered on his other two pokemon he had selected for this battle.

A pink blob is released next. The Lickilicky hits the ground with a thud. He peers at the Gyrados before his tongue pokes out of his mouth.

Misty Terrain still lingers on the field.

Adrian couldn't help but feel that overpowering Jin-hoon's team wasn't the most practical strategy. That and losing Gyarados now would mean he'd lost the match, so he primed the sea serpent's return to its pokeball before sending out Rover.

I'd lead with Sludge Bomb, but Misty Terrain is still up...

"Rover, use Strength Sap." Adrian would try something more elaborate instead.

Chu-e Choi

The last remnants of the Misty Terrain were slurped up into the Lickilicky's mouth. The whip slapped him in the face. Thankfully he was a chunky boy and could handle at least one whip.

After a moment, an explosion of energy was unleashed as he used Terrain Pulse from the terrain he had just slurped up.
