"They're...well, they're really cute," Luka giggles softly along with her Pokemon, a gently musical sound that blends with Toffee's bright, childlike babbling. The egg Pokemon nuzzles against Glastrier's nose, their previous battle- if you can even call it that- all but forgotten. "Toffee's always been a little rambunctious, but he's still a baby...though maybe I've been a little too protective of him." Luka hums thoughtfully, slowly meandering over to the side of the field where her opponent(?) stands. [break][break]"It's your win, by the way. I don't think Toffee has another move left in him...I just don't want to interrupt them yet." She doesn't seem bit upset by the loss, smiling brightly at the other woman. The name Glastrier doesn't really mean anything to Luka. Good thing too, or she'd definitely be losing it and ruining whatever decent first impression she'd managed to build. Sometime in the future, certainly, she'll look it up and realize she'd faced a legendary Pokemon and probably have an existential crisis for the rest of the day. [break][break] "He's really enjoyable to train," Luka agrees fondly. "Such a little sweetie. They say Togepi store the happiness and joy of others inside their shells...they like kind people the best." She grins as she returns the handshake. "So I'm sure you'd get along with one just wonderfully!" Maybe that's a bold thing to say about someone she doesn't know well. But Luka's words, though honeyed, aren't empty! She really means it. [break][break] "Is he really? Well I'm glad they're getting along then. Um...m-maybe sometime...we could arrange a um...a playdate? A-after the tournament, of course! I'm sure you must be busy."
