[attr="class","jayden"] as Rowan Wrynn 's walrein went ahead and gobbled up the remaining lettuce, jayden's lurantis was quick to resupply their stock with LEAFAGE. at least enough that they were able to provide some for the pizza that Serena Malcolm was making. his garchomp also helped in BULLDOZING the dough into perfection before his fellow beast roasted it.

meanwhile, jayden himself was prepping the TEDDIURSA ICED COFFEE with the help of his teammates' other pokemon. the coffee beans that his mentor helped prepare were ground and then seeped into an adorable teddursa-decorated cup, and a perfectly shaped ice-ball was placed into the center. lada used MOONLIGHT to add the finishing touches, making the icy beverage sparkle as it was handed over to the customer.

Blissey seems an obvious choice for the former, able to EGG BOMB the frying pans and set them to sizzling with the help of a HUSTLING Delibird that chirps happily as it flits between the stations.

Gavin's Leafeon uses its LEAF BLADE to slice through the vegetables.

But it's the Dodrio that seems the strangest choice. The hulking bird with its three razor-sharp beaks unsettles poor String and anyone else nearby with its menacing presence. But with its ability to TRIPLE KICK the dough at high speed, it fills its role under Gavin's guidance.

[attr="class","jayden"] jayden's the meticulous sort, but the same cannot be said for his pokemon. timofey's fists may be good for a battle with noah faber but as it turns out, maybe not so good for cooking! his klutz ability activated, he stumbles into gavin's chirping delibird, accidentally knocking some of the condomints in his hants over, causing them the rest of the blissey's eggs in his fists to go flying. luckily enough, one of them lands on the pan — the rest, however, are not so fortunate.

[break][break] jayden glances sideways at them, with a sigh. luckily his gothorita and gothitelle butlers are able to make quick work of the mess, cleaning it up with psychic energy.

Omurice was a comfort food Serena certainly loved to partake in. Now that she was working on it she wished she could take a break to have some too. Switching out her pokémon again she summoned her alolan marowak to her side so they could get started. After some unfortunate events with some eggs, she makes sure to keep the ball rolling. [break][break]

She wouldn't want to make this order take longer than it needed to after all. "FIRE SPIN and let's get to cooking." she orders her Marowak who immediately beings to twirl the bone it's it hand in an impressive display of finesse and skill as it goes to work on cooking the Omurice while also putting on a show for the rest of the customers to distract them from the little mishap earlier. "Nice one." Serena praises her pokémon as she moves to help the rest with their tasks.

Rowan watched with small amazement as Cillian Quinn proved himself to be the MVP of this round of cooking, managing to knock out a good amount of the tasks with his Pokémon. “Nice work, boss.” A smirk crawled across his lips as he brought his Azurill out of their Pokeball, leaning down to pick them up and set them gently on the counter.

“You mind helping out?” The Azurill nodded and hopped towards the sandwich station, using Slam to do something that Rowan couldn’t quite figure out the purpose of, but seemed to be helping with the creation of the Dugtrio Sandwich.

With the knife still in his hand, Gavin takes a mock bow.

It appears he's needed just as much for the next round of dishes.

Pasta is quickly shredded with his Escavalier's FALSE SWIPE, Gothitelle DOUBLE-SLAPPING it into the pot with his Gourgeist on stand-by to PICK UP any noodles that don't quite make their mark.

For the Pumpkaboo Gratin, that same Gourgeist uses its TRICK OR TREAT to help decorate as Linoone FLINGS ingredients across the kitchen. Chaotic, but effective.

Once more Gavin took charge of the kitchen, not that Rowan necessarily minded. This happened to be the first real employment he’d ever had and it was beginning to slowly wear on him, between the stress of pushing out orders and the sheer amount of actual work to be done. Not that he was about to quit before the others, Rowan Wrynn had far too much pride for that. “I’ll get the water going for the pasta.”

Fitting a Blastoise into the kitchen was difficult, though not impossible. Once Aku was carefully positioned, Rowan gestured for them to use Scald on the set of cooking pots that had been strategically placed within their reach. “Alright, back you go.” Rowan quickly ushered the large Pokemon back into their capsule, not wanting to keep taking up so much of the area with their hulking form.

All things considered, they seemed to be doing well. None of them were really experienced doing this sort of work right? Well, Jayden actually looked quite comfortable handling drinks and wearing an apron. Maybe he was more used to this than she originally thought. Still, who would've thought these newly appointed Beasts and their Underboss would be manning a food stall. [break][break]

And doing a damn good job at it too. [break][break]

Honestly, she was pretty proud of the progress they've made. Despite the obvious difficulties, being out of their comfort zone, the constant stream of customers and orders, the occasional mishap in the kitchen. They still managed to complete these orders efficiently. And hey, no one had complained yet, so they must've been doing a good job. [break][break]

Hopefully they could keep it up. [break][break]

Glancing down at the recipe, Serena frowned. "Gratin a la Pumpkaboo is up," she muttered while reading over the ingredients and instructions. "What a mouthful," she said as she flashed a grin at her alolan marowak who chuckled with her. "Alright, I think I've got it. Let's fire this puppy up. Show me what you've got." her marowak nodded and began to twirl the bone in it's hand. WILL-O-WISP was used while Serena began to gather up the ingredients and assisting the other's in their work so they could get this thing cooking.

[attr="class","jayden"] it's not long before the waves of more orders comes in, and just as with the last round, Cillian Quinn is a much-needed leader of their team. it shouldn't be surprising — it isn't to jayden, who has spent much of his lifetime admiring the capability that is their group leader. still, he wonders if maybe he should consider taking cooking lessons from the other.

[break][break] while Rowan Wrynn handled the pasta water, jayden joined Serena Malcolm in grabbing the ingredients that were flung across the room. while it would have been a chaotic environment for anyone else, jayden had his fair share of daggers and gunshots being thrown at him to know how to adequately navigate. after his mentor's gorgeist decorates the plate, jayden puts the finishing touches on the dish before handing them to their waiting customers.

"Got an Eiscue Caprese coming up..."

Gavin's Farfetch'd may seem a little silly at first, wielding its leek like a knife, but any reservations would be quickly dashed upon seeing the speed at which the duck could CUT through the required ingredients.

While the bird is busy with the salad, Gavin turns his attention to the drinks.

He's got far too many Miltank in a bid to further his shadow research, and thus sends one out to provide the MILK for the DRINKS. Persian RATTLES the mix to stir it up, and Gavin slides it across the counter.

[break][break] he looks at the glasses of milk that his mentor's miltank had somehow been able to provide. it's undoubtedly fresh and after being chilled in the fridge for a few minutes, exactly what they need for their drinks yet, as jayden pours them into an adorable-eevee-decorated cup, he can't help but wonder if the freshness would be different than any storebought ingredient. "fira," he calls, and his torkoal appears in a flash of light. she burns the edges of the cream with her heatwave and though a torch might've been more accurate, this provides a special element of flavor that finishes the eevee latte.

[break][break] meanwhile, his crobat makes easy work of the caprese salad as he slices through the air with his air slash. jayden catches the falling vegetables into a small weaved basket, before handing them over to Rowan Wrynn. "here you go," he offers.

“Thanks.” Rowan nodded in gratitude as he was handed the vegetables from jayden cross , looking around for a knife that seemingly had gone missing. “Damn it.” Crouching down, he opened the cabinet where his Bidoof had been hiding, finding the Pokémon fast asleep. “Hey, wake up.” A finger prodded their belly and the Bidoof sprung into action, forcing Rowan to wrangle the rodent until they calmed down.

Why did the Bidoof know Swords Dance? Beats the hell out of Rowan, but he decides to use this to his advantage to help slice the vegetables. After the skillful application of his Bidoof, Rowan passes the chopped vegetables down the line. Don’t worry, it totally makes sense.

Was it even possible to reach a 'rush hour' at night? Serena certainly didn't think so, but considering how fast these orders were coming and the quantity in each one increasing she would have reassess her earlier belief. Everyone was working hard and Serena wanted to help as well. At least this whole thing served to distract her from the obvious that had her in the dumps for a while. [break][break]

Exchanging her pokémon once more, Serena called Serenity, her Gardevoir and Frosmoth, the newest to her roster. Taking hold of the EEVEE LATTE just as jayden cross finished it, she twirled and nodded towards Serenity. "Spruce this up a bit." she said and Serenity nodded as she cast LIFE DEW on the drink. It would serve to add a slight invigorating touch to whomever drank it's contents. [break][break]

Quick on her heels she nodded towards her mentor's station as he worked on the MILKTANK MIX AU LAIT. He was doing a great job already and she didn't want to mess him up. "Frost help him out." she said with a nod in Cillian Quinn 's direction. Frosmoth used QUIVER DANCE to help speed Gavin and his pokémon up while they worked.

Another series of orders back to back, they couldn't catch a break could they. "Starting to think we signed up for a marathon or something..." she muttered as she quickly looked over the recipes this time. SWABLU SHAVED ICE, didn't look so hard but she had learned at this point not to judge things based on their looks. [break][break]

After all, the owner of this thing was a fucking cat. [break][break]

"Frosty, make it snow so we can get things started on this shaved ice." she ordered and her Frosmoth nodded as it flapped it's wings before using AURORA VEIL while Serena got to work preparing the dish itself, washing it out and drying it so that they could start loading it up with sugary goodness.
