The question elicits and violent response form Lex. Internally. Thanks to Lulu and Gavin’s loving hands she’s learned to quell her bursts of emotions in front of people that could tear her apart. Still, her body tenses beneath the steam of the bath, fists curling into tight balls. The sting of her nails into her palms goes unnoticed. An icy glare is flashed towards Lulu, lips curling into a toothy grin, almost as if mocking the woman with her answer to come, “They’re nothing but that – dreams,” however unpleasant, Lex refuses to let them bleed into her reality any longer. As plaguing as they may be, they are still stories of fiction and she won’t let them, or Lulu, or Darkrai, hold that sort of power over her. Her gaze falls on to Killian’s back as he pokes the bear. She remains tense, but the smirk turns into one of amusement. Damn, she loves this man.

Lex too is surprised by the rather calm response to Killian’s prodding. Lulu must either be really high or turning a new leaf. Lex wouldn’t put her money on the later.

A small laugh does escape her at Lulu’s dry response. Even Killian and Lex hadn’t put on a show for the grunts yet . . . surprisingly. It helped that Killian’s office remained locked and secure under the protection of his rats and Slokings. Lex also isn’t one to spend more time than necessary on that submarine, especially after the affairs with Genesect, “Perhaps she’s just curious,” Lex sighs from behind Killian, sinking deeper into the warm bath until she’s full submerged. She tilts her head back, wetting and slicking back the long red hair that floats on the surface around her shoulders.

Killian would have to be more specific or she’s just too out of the loop to know what they’re referring to. Her gaze glances over to Lulu to hear her theories. Lex is curious too.

Messing with gravity? “And not aliens,” Lulu is most likely being facetious. Lex with admittedly say she doesn’t know much, but she knows enough to assume that it wasn’t an “alien”.
