Except no more words came out. Instead he spoke with his eyes.

He wanted that Munna too; Uncle Adrian owed unborn Enca a gift. Something to love and bond with.

If not the Munna then the next Unown, no the next two Unown.

He was having twins after all.

Adrian switches out pokemon to unleash a Houndour to, well, go hounding after the Munna. He'd never seen a pig-tapir-thing move so fast before, but he supposed it wasn't often it realized its powers were impotent against a Dark-type.

Once Houndour got a little too aggressive, he threw a pokeball to try and keep the Munna out of harm's way.

NASTY PLOT + INFERNO was becoming a well practiced go-to combo for the Chimchar.

He would have like to have taken down the espeon in a more friendly manner but not every capture would be civil and mutual.

Still as the Espeon saw defeat at the hands of the primate a premier ball hitting its head would be its first markers to a new era in its life.

Crimsen attempted to capture Espeon!

Adrian peruses his phone and various social media while pointedly ignoring the next few pokemon they encounter.

Senon could have his pick of them, the resultant inferno that scorched the air lighting up his eyes.

NASTY PLOT + INFERNO; it had to be getting old by now.

Still if it aint broke don't fix it and all that?

It applied here. Fighting fire with fire wasn't the most effcicient means to battle, it tended to take time battling that way but with Adrian's eyeballs mounted to his phone, time was what they had plenty off.

When it was over Chimchar was covered in patches of soot and the Lampent was ripe for the claiming.

Only to be stopped by the redhead.

Closing distance to Adrian Sénon crouched down to give his little battle buddy an field check-up.

Giving the fire-type a pat down he watched carefully for signs of injury.

Finding himself a nice sized boulder to sit upon, Adrian keeps an eye peeled for anything more intriguing than a few base form pokemon. During the down time, he'll flip through his phone more intently, checking up on some of his favorite channels.

Every now and then, he'll glance Senon's direction to see what he's gotten up to. He certainly didn't squander the opportunity to capture any pokemon that showed itself.

Another Lampent wasn't the pokemon he expected in the final moments of this extended run with Adrian but the fates and chance and lady luck had spoken.

The proverbial fat lady was singing, she was queuing NASTY PLOT + INFERNO for an encore and finale.

Chimchar put it down as quickly as the last one and with a space ball Senon made another capture.

Crimsen attempted to capture Lampent!

Adrian made a sudden departure but the ranger was too enthralled by his back luck to think of it as anything suspicious.

They had been out here a while. It was about time he took off as well.

Before leaving he found the little pile of dirt on which he last dropped CARROT SEEDS when he was last here on Mt. Pyre.

Without much activity he pinched off more seeds and sprinkled them again. Pondering a different result when he returned next.

Adrian finished checking his phone when a new notification suddenly popped up from Rowan. It seemed urgent. Before he finished reading, he turned his attention over to Senon capturing an Oranguru. Dopey fucks...

He wasn't the biggest fan.

Turning back to the message, his eyebrows shoot up before he rises from his perch. "Hey, something came up. I gotta get going." He approaches them, dusting off his knuckles with a light fist bump before pulling out a pokeball with a Corviknight inside. "Cya later."
