he felt like 'hide in a box and sneak' solid snake, as he approached the group of steel and rock-types. he had a steelix himself, chlo, gifted to him by a good friend. but another wouldn't hurt in the slightest.

In the bowels of Mt. Chimney Adrian pads through freshly bored tunnels, listening to the echoes of earth churning under the sheer force of the Steelix swarming the mountain's bedrock. Staring into the dark schism, a Machampion at his side, he hesitates to delve further. What if they come hurtling through at the wrong time? What if the caverns collapsed from their pathing, undermining the foundation?

Adrian strapped his Abra to his chest, in case they needed to teleport to safety, before continuing further. With his bases covered, and possessing a modicum of safety, he could set out.

today, priam has learned that for an onix to evolve, it needs to be holding a full metal jacket, or was it coat. he's not sure, but it's something like that.

it was also today that he finds himself in the midst of these giant pokemon, trying to study them form up close. his supposed intent was to find a large chunk of steel-type to be thrown to the furnace, but the real intent was to attempt to catch one just because big pokemon are cool.

he looks around, trying to locate the ground-type he deems nice, and then throws a pokeball.

It somehow felt like a mockery.

That there was something about equivalent exchange and all that, in the world.

Adam knew that in order to gain something worthwhile, something of equal value must be lost, and that was very apparent in so many ways.

Kind of like how he found himself wandering around the Rusturf Tunnel, unperturbed by the multiple tunneling Steelix and Onix that were causing a racket. Enough to wake up the damned dead.

“Bloody hell, don’t you all know how to keep quiet?!” he grumbled, sticking a finger in his ear as he took aim, and threw a Pokéball at the nearest wild Pokémon that had gotten too close for comfort!
