So far, he had met two other people with charms like Locke’s, and if counting this stranger the courier had encountered, that’d also make three for the ones that look like Eris Halla’s. It matches. But, of course, at this point Mars still isn’t aware that out of all people, Serena Malcolm is in possession of a charm too.

Locke pushed regardless. It was about the only thing they were good at, most days.

But no matter how hard they tried, the memory wouldn’t come. Just the sight of the charm, and then the sudden shifting of the sun’s position, as though he and Sénon Game had jumped through time together.

He shook his head regretfully, an apology already forming on his tongue. The Inkay distracted him though, as the species was wont to do. He watched it float around del Mar with an unconscious smile.

”Little far from home, that one.”

How frustrating it is to not be able to remember. How unsettling it is to push as far as possible and still not find the memories that should be there. There’s few things he hates more than mysteries, and none is worse than one about his own life and memories.

For now, at least. Until he moves to a place he likes more and where he has enough space to properly keep all his water types.

It’s a nice thought, one he considers as he watches the way the Unown idly float overhead. The Zeraora watches them too, but as it does, it flicks its ears, as if alerted to a nearby sound.

Perhaps it’s Locke’s hesitation that causes the Hattrem to approach, perhaps it’s something else, but whatever the case, it jumps towards the courier, aiming a BRUTAL SWING straight at Locke’s face.

Thankfully, the Zeraora is fast, and it intercepts the small Psychic type midair with its PLASMA FISTS.

The mere sight of the Hattrem set Locke on edge, the briefest spike of panic running through him before he remembered to calm himself, but it was enough to trigger the sensitive Pokémon into lunging at him with a Brutal Swing. He dropped to the ground at the same time del Mar’s Zeroroa intercepted the attack with a vicious uppercut of its own. Liza-Liza charged after it as well, though she wasn't quite able to exact her rightful vengeance before the other man captured it.
