There were—quite a lot, really, if he was being honest.

“Before I answer that, do you mean fully avian, or mixed? By mixed I mean—Dragon-types, Bug-types, you know, the other Pokémon that weren’t included under the umbrella of ‘Flying’ as a typing.”

Because there were several answers he could easily commit, but it really depended on which answer he wanted to hear.

Seeing that there was a Dartrix flying nearby, he considered catching it, but he already had two of this line—one fully evolved, and one still a baby.

There was only one Pokémon that took the cake for all that. Until now, if he was being honest with himself.

“Gyarados,” he said with a slight shake of the head. “They’re hissy, pissy little—well, not so little—shits. If it’s a female Gyarados, oh shit,” he continued as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

Before they could continue, something caught his eye—was he really going to chase for every single Unovan Pokémon? The answer came in the form of a screaming Salamence, zipping down and breathing a peppered blast of fire at the strange ‘shroom, that panicked and released a scattering of Spores around the area.

“Like, what the fuck landed on your head, man?” he noticed a few moments later, as the Foongus tried to aim a Mega Drain at the Salamence, however another Flamethrower brought it down before another noxious cloud of Spores could be released into the area.

Once the Grass-type was downed, another empty Pokéball was thrown.

because the most his does is throw a tantrum when matias doesn't give it treats. nothing too crazy or destructive, thankfully.

matias watches the battle between the salamence and the wild foongus. not much of a battle when the FLAMETHROWER basically cooks it alive.

a wild tsareena shakes its head in QUEENLY MAJESTY before moving on.

And off ran the Morelull scurried away, not wishing to die a ‘death by hellfire’ from the Salamence who’d resumed his place above.
