Bubbles rose to the surface of the water after Belial dived in from the boat. His Mienshao swam in after him, holding in one deep breath with patience and calm. Some kind of martial art she'd learned on her own somewhere.

Beside him, their partner swam/rode upon their Pokémon. They approached the scene with caution.

[attr="class","tctext"] The cold chill of the waters enveloped Elisabeth completely in her sleek diving gear as she dove after Belial Stone, her hands gently fastened to the back tentacles of her giant Toxapex. [break][break]

Cirsium was not a Pokemon she would advise most to get near, given the Water-type's inherent aggression. Were it not for Elisabeth's firm orders for her to behave, she was certain the Toxapex would have picked a fight with her partner's Mienshao--and what an unmitigated disaster that would have been.[break][break]

"Do you recall the coordinates for the Luvdisc?" Elisabeth asked, bubbles rising up in a flurry from her mouthpiece. This was a peculiar mission for Team Rocket, particularly for a member as poorly integrated into Water-focused Pokemon as Elisabeth, but at least they had been well-outfitted for it. [break][break]

Although good gracious, was it cold.[break][break]

As shivers crawled up and down her skin, Elisabeth focused instead on the companion swimming ahead of her to distract herself from the pressure of the freezing depths. Her partner was a young and handsome man, one that Elisabeth recognized although she couldn't place her finger on why. Elisabeth had certainly never worked alongside him before, but he carried himself with the self-assurance of one accustomed to taking the lead.[break][break]

'Stone' seemed a familiar name, at least. Or was it merely common in Hoenn?[break][break]

Fingers grip the harpoon gun in his hands as his feet pedal him deeper towards the ocean ridge below. He's not comfortable in an environment where he his capacity to protect himself has been so severely limited. He's not losing his cool either, but he's certainly not as calm and collected as his stoic Mienshao is.

"Straight shot down. Last I checked on the radar, anyway." He replies through the scratchy mouthpiece transmitting between them. "And if things go sideways... straight shot up."

As pure black shifted into hues of dark blue, however, a strange glow began to shift into the realm of visible perception. Was that... a distortion? Underwater? It certainly looked like one: a massive-dome like barrier holding the ocean's water at bay despite the enormous pressure.

And, within that dome, a prehistoric world. One that existed before the great flood.
