GYM INFORMATION[break][break]

mauville's gym serves as a stark contrast to what lies just beyond its translucent doors. a plethora of technology - some experimental, and some not - having been effectively utilized to stabilize the artificial ecosystem located within. upon entry one will have their senses assaulted by the scent and sound of raw and unfiltered nature; almost every corner of one's vision filled with varying shades of green as they step upon freshly lain cobblestone that will lead them further into the gym's depths. what awaits potential challengers is a maze bordered by bramble and lightly trimmed shrubbery, with the vast majority of the branching pathways leading to dead ends. pokemon of varying types will be glimpsed in passing as a challenger presses onward, the establishment serving as a home to a wide array of creatures.[break][break]

if one successfully conquers the maze, they will be greeted with the sight of a circular field made entirely of cut stone. it is a large and flat area marked with the scars of battle and bordered by a river that is roughly two meters across and a little over several meters deep. a slim wooden bridge will allow one to cross the body of flowing liquid with ease before they take their place and begin their battle. RULES & REGULATIONS[break][break]

- it is required that you have at least three pokemon on your person before challenging miss alfric. [break][break] - the traditional option will be a singles battle and miss alfric will produce no less than three pokemon for its duration. [break][break]
- the non-traditional option will be a singles battle and miss alfric will produce no less than six pokemon for its duration.[break][break]
- if you fail to conquer the maze prior to the gym's closure you will not be allowed the chance to try for a badge. you must - at the very least - have a minute to spare once you've reached the stone circle. [break][break]
- miss alfric will only wield grass-type and fairy-type pokemon for the duration of the traditional battle. she will utilize any and all types of pokemon if you take the non-traditional route.[break][break]
- those whom openly declare themselves as rocket-affiliated will be forcibly ejected. [break][break]
SERVICES[break][break]
- the gym serves as a makeshift medical facility and pokemon can be temporarily surrendered to miss alfric for treatment and/or rehabilitation. [break][break]
- herbal remedies can be acquired here and are freely given. [break][break]
- the rocket-affiliated will not be refused emergency services. [break][break]
