WELCOME TO FIORELLI FLORISTRY!



Found between Petalburg City and the Petalburg Woods, a charming thatched cottage owned by one serves as her humble flower shop and abode. Cobblestone paths wind away from the city, guiding to the swinging gate that states the name 'Fiorelli Floristry' on its door.[break][break]

In many ways, this place takes inspiration from the Briar Rose fairy tale. The white cottage itself is modest in appearance, thronged in ivy and flowers with a second story complete with a brick chimney. The fragrance of wildflowers, perfumes, and freshly brewed tea are all prevalent here, making for a cozy setting.[break][break]

There is a conspicuous lack of technology in this traditional establishment. During the day, the windows of the cottage are often left open, creating a sense that this place belongs in nature even when indoors.[break][break]

Behind the front counter, a greenhouse takes care of the more exotic floral arrangements, while in the back near the kitchen, the back door opens wide to reveal a lush, well-cultivated garden pollinated by winged Bug-type Pokemon on the outskirts of Petalburg Woods.[break][break]

All patrons will be able to purchase the following Kalosian, flower-based items at Fiorelli Floristry:[break][break]

Those who wish to view the scenery are invited to enjoy the available seating at the cottage's ground floor. This entails either drinking tea in the dining area, or choosing to relax with dessert in the garden. This seating is limited, however, so it is first-come, first-serve.[break][break]

  • - Part-timer in charge of deliveries, assisting with floral arrangements, and substituting when Elisabeth is out of the shop.
  • - He... doesn't actually work here. He just lurks. A lot. Intimidatingly. It's actually become kind of a problem.

THE BASEMENT


POISONOUS SECRETS



Unbeknownst to most who frequent this establishment, a dark secret lies buried beneath the pretty flowers of Fiorelli Floristry. In the basement, Poison-type Pokemon scuttle and wait, their venom distilled into some of the most brutal poisons that exist in Team Rocket's possession. Only certain clearance-level Rocket members are aware of this aspect of Elisabeth's little shop of horrors.[break][break]

From time to time, such an individual will come to Elisabeth's shop and request a special order from the back. These orders are codes that signify a request for a specific poison from her collection, which Elisabeth retrieves and places at the centre of a bouquet for them to receive.[break][break]

The entrance to the basement is obscured by several wooden panels and a rug. When all these are moved aside, a series of locks must be undone. The most significant of these is a custom lock that can only be opened by using Elisabeth's rosette ring -- a Fiorelli heirloom that belonged to her late mother. As such, few ever glimpse its labyrinthine depths.[break][break]

The architect behind this place was bribed into 'losing' its blueprints, erasing all record of it from the populace.
