The racer had returned to the dock, Snacker calm after getting the chance to let loose with some of the highest speed he could muster. Just as he was about to switch over to Resheph, his Sharpedo suddenly jerked to the right. And just in the nick of time, too! An Arrokuda leaped at the dark-type with an AQUA JET intended to spear him! Thankfully, Snacker had felt the water disturbance beneath him just in time to swerve out of the way, the wild beaching itself on the floating dock! Its propeller tail grinding harshly against the wood, Josh guided the aquatic predator to the underwater staircase where he could easily climb out of the sea.

Once he was on the dock, Devlin recalled his Pokémon and tapped the panicking Arrokuda with a Poké Ball. He was planning on doing a catch-and-release to save the wild at first, then had second thoughts about it, deciding he would raise the water-type himself. "It was great spending time with you!
