That had been by and large perhaps the most thankless task left to him, though it remained to be seen whether they would serve any further purpose in Hoenn. He would have to keep a close eye on Martin's development before deciding the worth of the Unown Report.[break][break]

As they hunt down pokemon, Adrian manages to nearly kick over a CLAMPERL, though by sheer luck he manages to sidestep it and save himself from tumbling over. Thanks to such a discerning eye, he's able to snatch the Clamperl into a pokeball before continuing through the falls in search of stranger things still...[break]

his unown hunting craze ended very quickly as he could not find the time nor the energy to find the elusive psychic-type for very little payoff. he invested his time into completing his living dex instead.[break][break]

but with the appearance of paldea pokemon, his pokedex is once again incomplete.[break][break]

he ignores the grumpig even though its ODOR SLEUTH makes it particularly difficult to. what a smelly pokemon.

The only signs of life besides the two of them breathing heavily at the prospect of finding new pokemon are the indigenous Starmie and Seaking slicing through the water. Adrian takes not of MATIAS SILPH's marked disinterest, allowing him to choose freely.[break][break]

He would've left them be, but that's when he remembers emptying his koi pond for the Black Market. SEAKING had been in demand once, and it left his collection less for it. And so reluctantly he battles it, tossing out an Exeggcutor. A series of BARRAGES trace after the fish before eventually connecting, giving Adrian the opening he requires to tag its silhouette with a pokeball.[break][break]

It narrowly misses Adrian to land a preemptive strike on Exeggcutor, before retreating a few yards away. It doesn't relent, but seems reluctant to face them head on.[break][break]

From there it was a simple matter; Adrian reached for a pokeball and tossed it, hoping to secure this one for his Kalos collection. After tying up loose ends, he looks back to MATIAS SILPH: "How many Paldean pokemon have you actually seen, so far?"[break]
