It was like talking to a brick wall. A mile or so in and they were scattered to the wind: Eddie seeing what different rocks tasted like, Nova seeing what different rocks punched like, and Selina stalking irritatedly at her side.

It's a refreshing change of pace, though he's forced to pull himself from any dialogue to focus on battling. As it so happens, he encounters a SWALOT barring his path. He releases Beldum to counter.[break][break]

For Adrian, it's less about training his pokemon, and more about training himself on what to expect from certain pokemon. Luckily for him, the two go hand-in-hand. After exchanging several blows, Beldum wins out, and Adrian hurtles a pokeball at the fatigued Swalot.[break][break]

"How's it going over there," he calls over to ana fell as they wrangle three separate pokemon.[break]

[attr="class","thadmain"]Cyg just wants her horde of children to get a modicum of experience outside of the Pokeball before she has to rush into active duty. That way she’s not facing down League operatives with an army of babies. Is that really too much to ask?

“Nobody’s died yet, so I’d call that a win,” she says, hurrying to pull a sharp rock out of Eddie’s mouth where the crocodilian has gotten it wedged open.

Nova picks a fight with a Fletchinder and though she might be out-typed she’s not outmatched, neatly binding the bird’s wings and suplexing it into the ground; Cyg winces and zaps it with a Pokeball, more to save its life than anything.

[attr="class","adrianwtw"]"Haven't found much of interest." Excursions like these could become such a dull affair. Spending hours on end hoping to find something that wasn't even there to be seen... Though he wasn't mutually exclusive in that. It was part of being a trainer.[break][break]

He manages to distract himself in mock battle with a FENNEKIN that is toppled easily by his Starmie. Though it offers little in the way of enjoyment, the satisfaction of finishing the line's pokedex is enough to bring a faint smile to his face.[break]

Adrian almost wished he'd found it first, but smiled at how ridiculous his obsession had grown over time. Between the Black Market and his own collections, he hadn't enough pokemon to his liking.[break][break]

Adrian eventually encounters a PIGNITE, which prompts him to release his Aerodactyl. With its combative personality, superior typing and aerial advantages, Adrian is eventually able to whittle away at the feral pig until it slumps against the dirt, exhausted. He's forced to withdraw Aerodactyl before it can aggress the fallen swine, but after reigning it in he lobs a pokeball at the fainting pokemon.[break]
